I found this site quite different than other traditional job boards. I used it to research positions and companies that I would be interested in and could get a better picture about that roles they have within the organization, not just the roles that they are promoting that that moment. I applied to a few through their apply link (took me to another site) and some roles that were not currently "active" I reached out to the company directly about. No word back yet on my applications but it was a very different experience, great for doing more of a deep dive into my job hunt.
I signed up to get job alerts sent to my Email from jobsearcher.com, but when they come I am not able to apply to any of them without being redirected to 20 different web pages, none of which allow you to click the 'Apply' button. Every page immediately opens up a smaller window in the middle of the screen asking for more & more information about how to contact you, but never allowing you to actually apply to the job that was sent to you. In the end, you end up at a completely different job site, named 'Upward Careers, and have to select from the options on that website. It is confusing, and I am about to unsubscribe from jobsearcher.com as a result.
Graduation is coming fast and I have been trying to figure out what kind of job I want. When I use Jobsearcher, I can have super in-depth searches because the site lets me narrow down my results as much as I want.
I am a mother with 3 children under 9. I need to work from home, and JS letting me search through remote only jobs makes my job searching process so much easier.
The jobs recommended for me are a literal gold mine. Plus, everytime I view a job, it gets stored in my activity so I can always go back and look at it again if I change my mind.
Lots of expired posts. Contacting any employment will be a waste of your time and make you unprofessional, because the posts are all expired. Don't use this site.
I found a job thanks to this site. I had no experience, but I found a suitable vacancy in the appropriate section and sent my resume. Now I have been working as a court clerk for three months.
This site is an employer's best friend. I can't believe the amount of traffic I get to my jobs, and I don't even have to pay to post them.
