What a poorly designed site experience. Products show up in my search as being on sale and offered to be sold. I was allowed to make a $216 purchase, but received no confirmation email. After waiting a week I learned that they don't have a phone number to call regarding online orders so I submitted a complaint inquiry online. Two weeks later I went into the store to check status, only to learn that they cannot assist with an online order. Exactly 1 FULL month later, I received an email from my online complaint saying the product is out of stock. Amazingly horrible shopping experience. I'd yell to them to get their site fixed, but now that I'm reading other customers reviews on their poor shipping practices and lack of customer service, I think I'll steer clear. So sad that I have to walk away from one of my favorite stores. But I'd rather not deal with the stress!
Not Only Haven't I Heard A Responce. They Claim That They Don't Charge You Unless They Ship It And I Was Charge Almost Instantly And It's Been 4 Weeks And Nothing Has Even Shipped Out.
I ordered close to 50 yards of fabric in addition to some tools; over $200 in supplies. They canceled half the order after the first week. It was unfortunate, but I understand that in times of high demand there can be a lag in updating the website. Then, a week later, they canceled the rest of the order. The email didn't even bother telling me that the entire order had been canceled. Rather, it simply stated that some items had been canceled. I had to look up the order on the website to see that they had marked it "completed" after cancelling everything. Everything. They took 2 weeks and then canceled everything in a $200+ order. It seriously took 2 weeks for them to figure out that they have NOTHING I ordered? Unreal. What a complete waste of my time. I will never go back.
Every time I go into the store located in Menomonee Falls Wisconsin, I am treated so terribly. No matter which rep I approach asking for help. They turn their noses up as if I asked for their personal money. They won't help me and than say things like go over there and look or wait in line. I say there is no line and I need help with a certain kind of fabric. They still refuse to help me no matter what my dark skin self ask for. I think they are trained to be rude and prejudice. So sad! I have to got to this store because they are near and usually have what I need for my projects. I really miss good people
My online order has been so messed up -worst online order I've ever experienced. I will NEVER order anything from this company again. First they said my order was delayed after I waited weeks for it to arrive. I cancelled the entire order only to be notified a week later that the order was on its way. The order arrived only to be billed a second time for what I assumed was a billing error. But today I received notice that the remainder of my order would arrive this week WHICH I DIDN'T ORDER. I have no idea if they will take more $ from my account for an order I didn't place. I can only assume if you place items in your basket but then delete them they treat it as an actual order. This company has terrible customer ratings. I've learned my lesson. Only wish I had read ratings before placing order. They do not respond to texts or emails. Does no good (I found out) to contact this company. You won't get a response from them other than to tell you delay is due to COV-19
I understand things are taking longer with the current situation. However, dealing with a lot of other companies, Joann Fabrics is the worst. There is virtually no customer service at all. Orders get cancelled after you wait days and days. Then placing orders for delivery, you hear no response and nothing is happening with that order.
I agree with other reviewers. Yes, everything is different with the pandemic, but two orders in a row they cancelled my online order after over a week. They said the items were out of stock, but they're still selling them on the website.
No customer service phone number - really? I can't think of any company that cares about its customers without a phone number. Their "help" line via email is pointless. It took 5 tries to get any answer at all, then it was a "nice" and totally meaningless answer that didn't answer any of my questions.
Their website has a lot of marketing about making masks, but they don't really support it. I'm making masks to give away with other people in my church. YES, it really does matter Joann's that you make good on items you sold to me. For my first order it took me 2 weeks to scrounge around and get what I needed from neighbors. I should have learned! My second order is partially "cancelled" (by Joanns), 1/2 "in process." No answer from their help line about any estimates whatsoever about when the items might be available.
Truly lousy, uncaring service no matter what they may try to tell us.
I placed an order well over a month ago and still have not received my products. Customer Service has been unresponsive. I've emailed them several times and haven't received a response. Dont waste your time trying to contact them via phone. You'll only receive an automated message stating to email them. Save yourself the time and energy -SHOP ELSEWHERE.
I have tried many, many times to order fabric from Joann.com. All items were in stock, according to the website. All orders canceled. I'm so sad this fabric is unique to Joann.com. I jumped quickly when I saw there was only 6 yards left. I ordered 5. The number went down to 1, making me think I was going to get it. Nope. My order was canceled. What is the point of this website? The email system is a joke. No response. The phone number is not allowing you to speak to anyone. I just disconnect you after you hear the message. So disappointed!
I ordered bias tape and the same day and for 4 days after received cancelled notice. Then 4 weeks later I received partial order. Followed their instructions to return the items and now over 30 days later and 6 emails to their 2 email addresses, still no reply back. Called the corporate number and unable to talk to anyone. I will NEVER buy from them again!
Ordered 2 items online which were in stock according to website. 10 days later no contact from them. Advised them to cancel order, then received message that the items were not in stock and they were cancelling my order. First and last time doing business with them. They really should just close down based on the other bad reviews.
I placed an order online to pick up curbside at the Westbury store. I called them 3 hours later to see if my order was ready to be picked up. They said I have to wait at least 3 days. I understood due to the Covid-19 situation. After three days, nobody contacted me and I had to call them again. They told me to wait for the pick-up email. I sent an email to customer service and no one responded. After I had waited for the whole week they sent me the message they had to cancel my order. If it has a zero, I will give them zero star because they did nothing to deserve 1star. Don't ever use there service
Tried to place an order online for curbside pick-up. Don't bother. The site won't let me check out. It just keeps sending me back to the same page. Called the store and was told that it is because the item I want isn't really n stock, just says it is on the website. B. S. I tried several stores with the same result.
I decided to do curbside service because I am high risk and was ordering material to make masks. I didn't want to go into the store without a mask. I received an email saying my order was ready and call when you get to the store. I drove 30 minutes to the store, called MULTIPLE times. NO ONE ANSWERED! How am I going to pick up my order if the workers won't answer the phone. I drove back home called MULTIPLE times again, and again the next day. Again, NO ONE ANSWERED. Then I get a response to my email 3 weeks later, saying that my order was cancelled. Wow, there's a bright one. Of course it was cancelled since I couldn't pick it up. Do your job, or don't offer a service. I will NEVER shop there again!
I placed an order April 16. On April 23 I received notification that my order was delivered to my door. I was home and immediately checked. Nope! It wasn't delivered to my house. I checked my camera and nothing was delivered to my house. I immediately called Fed Ex. They took my statement and I was advised that because it was a smart post JoAnns was responsible for a refund. I have repeatedly emailed customer service and tried calling but they are not accepting calls. There has been no response at all. I tried calling my local store to try to get some direction as to how to go forward. They were sorry but they couldn't help me. Email customer service has been my only suggested recourse. Customer service is dropping the ball! I have been a customer for probably 30 years... I'm very disappointed. I know the pandemic has created problems, but acknowledgement to my emails would be nice.
Twice now I have placed orders and over a week later, I get an email that "the items below are no longer available and have been removed from your order. Rest assured, no charges were placed on your account for the unavailable item(s) and any authorizations will soon be removed. SOON- The order date was April 18th! Today is May 11th! And they still charged the full shipping fee! DO NOT CHOOSE JOANN! I made the same purchase from Hobby Lobby, and it was here in 4 days! (and on sale!)
I wasn't going to leave a negative review until I received a request to review based on the purchase I never ended up with. It seems my experience is not unique, but I will write it anyway.
I ordered one item which showed it was in stock at the store I selected for curbside pick-up. After 9 days, I still had no email to say it was ready and because I needed it sooner, I purchased it elsewhere and cancelled my order. Immediately (within seconds), I magically received the email to say the order was ready for pick-up.
I received three subsequent emails reminding me to pick up the order I'd already cancelled, then one to say it had been returned to stock.
After all of that, I received another email to say my order had been cancelled as the item was no longer available and my card had not been charged (which it had been).
There is nothing I need at JoAnn Fabrics badly enough to go through this headache again.
Ordered items online on the JOANN, pay close attention to which store would have the items 'in store'. Received a reply on the next day, that some items that were in store were not available anymore, but that the rest of my order was ready for pick-up. When I checked the store that had the items (28 miles from my house, as opposed to my usual store that is only 3 miles from my house), the store would be open on Saturday. After I drive to the store I notice signs on the door stating that 'curb side pick up not available'. I double check the app to see that the stores hours have changed to only being open a couple of days per week, with very limited hours.
Additionally, if I do not pick up my order in three days, it will be automatically cancelled, I am a nurse, and am not off until late next week, so I guess my order will now be cancelled because I will not be able to pick it up tomorrow or the day after; a. Because the store is not open and b, when the store is open, I am scheduled to work. Poor, very poor customer service and follow through.
I ordered some fabric online from one of their locations where they are offering curbside pick up. I have been waiting for over a week for the email alerting me that it is ready for pick up. Nothing. I have written to Joann's twice and still nothing.
I understand that things are delayed, but they have not given me an estimate of time or any information. Just to wait.
The store is not taking calls.
I placed an order in april. Every time I check my email something from my order was canceled. One item said it was delivered but as the tracking information it was delivered in texas and I'm in pa. I emailed the company 3 times and it is now almost 2 weeks since my first email and no answer yet. Not even looking into it. Nothing at all. I paid for items that I have never received and cant get ahold of anyone because you cant call the number. Very frustrated and only half of what I originally ordered I actually got from all the cancellations and miss delivery of items.
Answer: I feel the exact same way. They cancelled an order I placed online and they never contacted me to tell me the order was canceled. I waited three weeks for an email to come pick up an item. I could have had this item 3 weeks ago from Michaels craft store. JoAnn's sucks!
Answer: Don't order anything from Joann. Go to a flea market or Hobby Lobby who gets your order correct and treats you by the Golden Rule. Joann is terrible and I am still waiting for a refund wherein they charged my account twice for the same order. Run!
Answer: Joann online are thieves and liars. We all need to get together to file a class action lawsuit against them for charging customers twice for the same order and then shipping wrong merchandise. This isn't an innocent mistake... it is planned. The only way to stop them is via a class action lawsuit.
Answer: Depending on which Joann store take your order. The reps are so untrained and very incapable of handling a simple online order at the Menomonee Falls Wisconsin location. They will cancel your order without your knowledge and when u call, they will tell u it will be ready by the close of business. It's, not ready than and when u call back they will say, it will be ready the next day. In all reality they messed up on purpose. ONLY IN MENOMONEE FALLS WI have I always experienced this type of treatment
