My first Jib Jab videos was for a friend's birthday and I shared it for several others to view. They all found the dance videos hilarious
Making an apology was never more effective. Thanks, JJ!
I had to repeat the process twice before I created a card.
But it was worth it to deliver this card to my friends.
I have been a jibjab customer for many years, and I have never regretted my decision to join.
I initially reached out to JibJab customer service for assistance with my login. Within a few days I did receive a response assisting me with acquiring a new log in email since I was no longer able to access the old email address that I used when I signed up for the program. Since then I have sent 5 emails requesting assistance cancelling the subscription altogether and have yet to receive a response. They do however keep sending me a request to leave a review for my customer service experience So since they failed to respond to me, this is my review- very poor.
Last week work had JibJabs with our head shots on numerous dance and music videos - I laughed often and every day. So decided to create similar fun for family and friends - so far I've got 4 thanks with LOL and 1 not so happy recipient (but think that one was just out of sort - he'll laugh some day).
It took me a while to figure out how to put faces into cards from a photo jpg file. Otherwise things went well in creating the cards.
Fun product with excellent customer service to back it up. Reps (particularly Gerry) solve any issues quickly and professionally.
Common, JibJab! Can we PLEEEEEASE have some new video cards! You've had the vast majority of the same cards for several years now (at least 4-5 years) and we've run out of options for family members who have seen just about everything you've got that's remotely amusing. Surely, you folks have the money/resources to produce a few more videos based on something other than outdated pop songs?
I've been using JibJab for years to send video cards to my family. They are always a big hit. And, it's easy to do.
Easy and fun to use. The montage software works a treat and the finished film - in my case featuring a time-worn rock guitarist being loud and destructive - is much
Much slicker than ones I remember being sent a couple of years ago. Big on
Feelgood factor. The old rocker himself loved it, as did his kids.
I'll be back!
It is so much fun to put my family and friends into videos!
Great product!
I was auto billed for a year subscription which I did not want to do at this time. When I called the phone number listed, the issue was very quickly resolved and the funds reversed through PayPal. Wonderful customer service! Thank you so much!
We are all aware of the fun the JibJab site offers its clients.
They are equally wonderful when you need customer support.
When I decided not to renew my membership, they quickly responded to my email and refunded my payment.
Thank you, JibJab
All went quite well. Seems like I might have been able to get a little more of the renewal as I clicked on an ad that said I could save an additional 25%?
It would be nice to be able to save movies/video in various format depending on how I would be using it.
Creatively, their stuff remains very funny but hasn't really changed tech-wise--at least to my eye--in many moons. With all the computing and 3D morphing/rendering abilities out there, JibJab's static heads should be more animated in appearance given it's 2016. Also, when I signed up, it wasn't clear--or at least easily findable--that each download would be an additional $2 on top of their 'discounted' $18/year membership fee. Finally, the downloaded file you receive is of *significantly* lower quality (570 x 320'ish) than the 'preview', and seems dated, particulalyr in light of today's 4K YouTube-fueled expectations. With the right tech updates, JibJab could be *great* again!
Answer: Unfortunately, now you can only edit your heads immediately after you upload them, which makes it a waste of time to save them because each head you upload will only work correctly for the video you uploaded it for. I was told they removed the 'edit any time' function so people could use their app on androids which sounds pretty absurd to me. Oh well, this will be the last year I ever pay for it again if they don't correct this outrage.
Answer: We've removed the fine-tuned shaping feature for now to make our casting process easier for all; we also made adjustments so that users can easily cast their cards directly on mobile devices. This is part of our desire to make sure that anyone can learn to use and send our cards! Please feel free to reach out to help@jibjab.com with any additional feedback and we'll pass it along.
Answer: No more than 30 min. Had to find and edit my pictures that I used.
