I am a big fan of wearing makeup and playing all of the colors. I believe makeup is an accessory to the face that makes it beautiful and confident. For Christmas, my sister and mom gave this Jeffree Star palette, called Blood Money, one of his recent releases. Blood Money is a fun eye shadow palette made by the famous MUA Jeffree star. It consists of many fun colors on the green spectrum, but also has many neutral colors that can still give a good pop. It is the 4th edition of Star's Blood collection. It is presented in a beautiful faux alligator case with gold clasp to keep it shut. This palette has many bold green colors ranging from matte to metallic to extreme wet. Plus! It is vegan and cruelty free.
The presentation of this palette is definitely the definition of sophistication and beauty. It does give off the vibe that you feel like a million bucks and that you have money in this palette! I love the color palette that Jeffree puts together in this palette! It consists of many shades of green, from "Crocodile Tears" green to "Persuasion" brown. I love all the shimmery and glittery shades, I am a very big fan of sparkle and it is my kind of speed. I do wish there was more green to the palette, but Star did state in one of his videos that he wanted it to be more about money and being a bougie kind of vibe and not coming off as St. Patrick's day. It is really easy to apply on the eye! It has strong enough colors to wear on the eye and will fall onto your face with elegance. It's not too harsh and heavy on your eyes and you don't feel your eyes getting heavy.
This palette has the best combination of colors to wear when you are going for a neutral, sophisticated look to a bold statement look to get people to turn their heads your way. If you're looking for a palette like that, this is a palette for you. I love this palette! I especially love wearing compliments on bluish and greenish eyes to give it a pop! I've never used Jeffree Star cosmetics until this palette and it makes me want to get all of his products! I hope you guys love it!
Over a $500.00 order is sitting somewhere in limbo and Jeffree Star cosmetics hasn't a care in the world! I placed our order on November 1st and was able to get myself and my sister the Conspiracy bundle and the pig mirrors as soon as they went up. It wasn't easy, but we were ecstatic! I finally got checked out after sitting in the waiting queue for over 45 minutes. It was an hour and five minutes after the launch went live! Since that day I have only received a confirmation email and the money has been taken, but other than that NOTHING! I emailed customer service wondering why we have not received our order or to see if we could receive an update only to get a generic email in return. So it's either play the waiting game or cancel, but I want my $500.00 in products! I will NEVER order from JSC during a launch ever again! They want you to be patient and say they have hired all this help but ours should have been some of the first orders processed and to not be able to speak with someone or even get an actual person to write back to address the customers concerns is not a very good business practice! So it's 18 days since the release and we feel like we have been screwed out of $500 and have no clue whether we will receive our order in full/half of it/or a cancellation! Seems that everyone getting their orders are getting doubles or nothing at all so we are bracing ourselves for when we do get our order it being wrong or incomplete! If we do not receive an update soon for our order I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and my credit card company! We were so excited to support Shane and Jeffree during this amazing launch that was so highly anticipated, but due to this and their lack of compassion for those sitting here wondering what the hell is going on has made us rethink supporting their future endeavors.
(EDIT)- I was (and still am) a HIGE JS & JSC fan. I legit love everything he has made with his brand. But his customer service has gone SO DOWNHILL the past year or so. They use to reply to emails within a day or 48hrs, and now I go DAYS without a word from them when waiting to hear back for a return from the star wedding Collection. It's so annoying and bad business to not reply to someone (when you just emailed them back and forth a few times in one day) for 5+ business days. I still love his Products, but I'm starting to hate his customer service team. And. Ow I understand why so many people have bad experiences with this company's Customer Service Team.
(1st review) I've always gotten good quality Products whenever I order from Jeffree's Website. I've only ever had 1 order come messed up, and that was only the wrong T-shirt size came to me in the mail. They let me keep it and they sent me the correct size Tee. So I got an extra tee, even if it is too small... The only reason I didn't give him a 5 Star rating is because on his "launching days" he knows his site is going to be jam packed and end up crashing and freezing up on everyone, yet he doesn't make his site any better or more efficient when checking out on said launch days... BUT... Any other time I have EVER ordered from him (just buying stuff not on launches) I get my order super fast! One time i ordered a liquid Lipstick on Sunday night, and got it that Friday! So he does have a good & fast system down for sending out his merch. I just wish his Website would accommodate for when he has HUGE Launches and has Hundreds upon hundreds of people on his site at once! I will keep buying from Jeffree Star Cosmetics and I will continue to support him and his brand. I love Jeffree Star So Maaacccchhhhhhhh!
Here is my problem. I placed my order during the Shane Dawson collab on launch day. Yes we all know by now that that everyone got confirmation emails afterwards saying to be patient and allow them 10 business days for shipping. That is perfectly fine however what is not fine Mr. Star is you charged your customers a 12.95 shipping charge that was for 5-7 business day shipping and here we are 14 business days later (I excluded veterans day) and no one is getting shipping updates and you have a lot of irate customers including me. You should be refunding everyone their 12.95 shipping because upon placing the orders it's stated that the 12.95 was for shipping that had a 5-7 day shipping time and that is not what your customers are getting. Not only that but your customer service is horrible. I emailed customer service on Monday 11/18 and here it is 11/22 and I haven't heard a work back even though it said it would take up to 72 hours to respond. There are issues at hand that needs to be addressed and they are not being addressed but Mr. Star can go on twitter and announce another release when this one went to hell in a hand basket so quick. Not enough pallets, site crash and not enough help to ship out all of the products that were literally hyped up for a whole year! Come on you knew you were going to sell more than a million pallets, you sell out of every pallet every time you do a launch and everyone has to wait on a restock and by the time they have to wait on a restock no one wants it anymore because there are 50 million reviews and tutorials posted on youtube that makes us burnt out on it already. How about have enough pallets on hand for all of the customers, have enough staff on hand to handle the shipping and hire more people for your customer service department because all of your negative reviews on the BBB site is hurting you. Also make a statement about the broken pallets people are receiving from Beautybay instead of posting snap chats of you living it up in Bora Bora without a concern at all that thousands of your fans are having issues with broken pallets and no shipping update. Let's also mention the customers that are getting their collection shipment without the main pallet. So let's go bro handle your business refund all of your customers their insanely overpriced shipping charge of 12.95 and start fixing this mess.
