Very few active users — most profiles are either inactive or abandoned. The platform feels like a ghost town, especially if you're not based in Japan. After payment, my account was immediately suspended and I was asked to send sensitive personal documents (passport, photo of me holding the ID, and current location).
The support system is just a bot replying with the same message over and over again. They already charged me, activated the subscription, and then blocked me from using it.
Refuse to issue a refund, even though I can't access the service.
This is not a dating platform — it's a trap with automated fraud filters and no human support. Avoid wasting your time and money. Go to Pairs, Tinder, or literally anything else.

All ai women Scam try make me go to another site called datesteady. Don't go waste of money. I never saw a legit Asian woman all Chinese phone app ai.

It's like 99% Ai woman work for Chinese company called Zhengzhou zhongzhiqi technology co., ltd. All fake. Waste of money. Some will also ask you to join other websites. Staff pretend to help but is worthless they delete ai account if ask then add another one.

You pay here and on another website all ai Chinese stuff. They have staff in Indonesia and India. They also own fake sites like asiahug and date steady trulyhi not just Cupid sites. 100% scam even PayPal got them to refund me. They also owned old sites such as cudate.

Fake profiles abound or attempts to redirect users to other sites. Buyer beware. To cancel they ask for more money.

They permanently suspended my account for offensive behavior. I only messaged one person and I was a gentleman to her. My profile had zero offensive information too. They never provided a reason. Joke of a company. Not my fault if there's a language barrier. Scam company in my belief that fishes for your info.

Just girls looking for Japanese guys.The amount of Japanese girls is lacking. So girls from other parts of Asia mostly not even. Everything is black and white.

Don't waste time and money, they string you along and you have to buy more credits to communicate with other profiles

I've got so many messages from fake accounts using photos of Asian men pretending to be Japanese. We Japanese can easily see that those are not even photos of Japanese so I just block and move them to the trash bin every time.
And I've received likes and messages from several elderly American men living in Japan, and when I did not reply, they sent me unbelievable-abusive words later.
I'm sure they are so frustrated when they pay money and never get a reply from anyone that they lash out at women. Maybe it's on sites like this, the people's true nature come out...
I have reported them, I'll see whether Japan cupid properly bans them or not do for money.

They are probably only after your money, if they see you won't pay they terminate your profile.
Since they did this on my new account as a new member, I reccommend you pay at your own risk.

I seriously have doubts about this site. I joined up, used my credit card to make a payment, the money was taken from my account within 5 minutes, then got blocked saying i needed to verify something which I did. They then told me they had reversed my payment and I needed to make a new payment to them. I don't trust them

Very low amount of japanese women on this site and when there are some many of them are inactive.
I'm now very suspicious of any chinese profiles. Almost all of them that I got messages from seemed like they were scammers - i think everyone needs to be on guard when seeing a chinese female profile. There looks like a major chinese scamming campaign going on in dating/matrimonial sites - there needs to be some kind of investigations into it. At least japancupid seems to ban these profiles.

Barely anyone contacted me, I had more interaction with foreigners and Japanese women in there 40s and above. I had a lot of people trying to scam me either by trying to make me join a website called af meet, the old scam of money for nudes. A total waste of time. Please don't used Japan Cupid. It has deeply poisoned my love for Japan that I decided to cancel my trip to Japan.

Filipino PROFESSIONAL cheaters asking money! I reported id# ******* by the NEW NAME Jiana Ushiku, previously same crook by name Gina Fe Alvarez Ushioda, send a lot of proofs to administrator, they covere these Filipino scams and fraud! Stay away, you're dealing with profesional organize crooks!

So many fake profiles and so many fake Chines scams profile page in there and not so many Japanese women in there More Filipino Chinese Looks like an International dating site to me Too expensive and it's not worth it other people of other nationality sign in for free but we have to pay

I have been logging in for 3 hours and cant access my account. Emailed them but replied to me saying I dont have any accounts to them. Im scared now that someone might use my photos and some of my details. Resetting your password wont help too as they didnt do anything to reset your password to access your account. Bad website. So pls use other dating sites instead.
