I have subscribed to Jacquie Lawson for many years and love her cards - definitely the most detailed and pretty interactive cards out there. And I have thoroughly enjoyed the advent calendars over the years, as have the friends that I have gifted them to. Keep up the good work!
For over 8 years I have been sending Advent Calendars for my Grandchildren to enjoy. I have purchased them for friends also. I have always bought the 10 plus as I have 8 grands. I would get an calendar as a person who purchased so many. THIS year they changed their policy WITHOUT stating that anywhere. It is my fault for assuming but after 8 yrs...now I want one for myself so I can talk to my grands about it at the discounted price but NO! They will not do that. I will have to pay the top price. Now it is just a few dollars but that is not the point. BAD service to loyal costumers As cute as the calendars are this will be our last year!
My membership expires on 3/21/2021 and when I check out the site that shows that, it shows 3/21, but when I try to send a card, it tells me my membership expired 2/18/21 and wants me to renew. That is fraudulent and they make it impossible to contact them. This is disgusting.
I had selected auto renewal fee to be charged to my credit card each year. I had to have a new credit card issued, & new card number. So J. Lawson cancelled my membership & deleted my saved address list. Yet they accepted payment from my new credit card number. They refuse to restore my address book which they've had for more than 5 yrs. I tried to cancel membership and they refuse to respond..
No phone support, Number one. No response to emails, Number two. And no apologies Number three. Bad business. Terrible communication. Only excuses and accusations of the poor intended recipients of the cards/calendars.
Jacque Lawson, I wanted to cancel my membership. I only had it for a week but I found it very hard to use and I'm computer literate. I tried to follow the directions to cancel, but it was confusing. I logged in to Chat and explained my problem. The person I contracted was very rude. He told me that there was no refund but after a year, he would not renew it. He didn't try to help me navigate the website. As far as he was concerned, the matter was closed. They have no phone for customer service and now I know the reason why. Beware.
Ever wonder why a company with over $30million in annual revenue only has 5 employees? Its because they dont care about the customer after they take your money. And their revenue is generated by selling user data including the recipients user data. Want to send Grandma an ecard? Well, with this company they will collect and sell grandmas information in additionnto yours. Just bananas
Even if you dont open the card but request to be added to their block list they record your information from THAT exchange (IP, email, etc)to sell it.
A sketchy company, hiding behind another sketchy company, owned by an even larger data mining company. All that is gross about the internet.
When ordering a card I usually get only a running dog. I have trouble or can't change the message they display. They don't answer questions or try to solve the problem. Their two major competitors have none or these problems. GO BACK TO THE OLD SYSTEM which worked for me for 25 years.
Since I can't order anything I cannot submit a proof of purchase.
I have been a Jacquie e-carder for many, many years and couldn't imagine not having them. I was there from the beginning and have spread the word as far as I can. Keep up the good work, Jacquie.
PS: Your new Holiday cards are amazing!
I am furious! This is a terrible site! I have been trying to send my daughter a birthday message for her birthday tomorrow, since I cannot send a physical one in the current circumstances! Well, today is the 23rd, tomorrow the 24th, and I keep getting the message that the date must be in the future! Then I tried to have it sent "now", and got the same message! I feel so cheated, and running out of options!
Jacquie Lawsons's digital cards are scenic, well designed and a treat for many of my friends and axquaintances. I have been a member for many years and my experiece is that you get much value for your money! It's convenient to use throughout the year, for special ocasions, or to say just hello to someone special, for christmas and birthdays, whenever you like.
Bad form taking money without consent need answer I know its only 10 but it is MY 10
PLEASE REPLY TO MY EMAIL AS OF TODAY. Also need to unsubscribe. Are you people having a laugh now will not accept my review
Purchased a Subway egift card which was not accepted at two separate Subways. When I complained to Jaquie Lawson Cards I was told it was not their problem. They told me I would have to go to Subway Customer Service. At the very least I thought they should give me contact numbers.
Received welcome letter stating account up and runnuing. Receive cards but cannot send. Won't respond
To requests to either resolve or refund. Stay away from these crooks.
I paid for a 2 year service to end Jan 2016 for unlimited on-lineGREETING CARD USE, after a couple of months they sent a link saying I cant use my password any longer due to security reasons, they will send a link in one hour to reset- that was 2 weeks ago Monday. No link after sending several emails to their customer service (they don't have a phone #) no response. Basically they are a scam company after researching on several other complaint sites it has happened to so many others! Legally if you pay via pay pal they have 45 days ONLY to give you a refund so after 45 days the cards stop and theres nothing you can do about it! Use HALLMARK they are legit!
Submitted all names, emails, etc., but site wouldn't confirm if cards were sent. User unfriendly! I only saw top of two cards. Will try to cancel as I signed up for two long years.
I've been a faithful and admiring customer for years. Recently the site was re-designed and nearly all of my address book got deleted! I had birthdates that were hard to ask for and hard to gain and I naively and trustingly stored all of that inside the nifty address book they had. I'm heartbroken to lost this data since I am an English teacher and used these cards as little surprises for my students. The Jacquie Lawson staff will not answer my plaintive messages for customer service. Their customer service is zilch. As long as you have no questions or problems, this site is okay, but beyond the basics, which were always so beautiful, they do not care about responding to their customers. Another example besides the lost addresses and info are the "new" message screens where the text you type comes out in such a tiny point-size that your message is not readable. Of course, writing a personalized message on a card is at least half the reason for sending it. I'm considering cancelling my membership now, but I'm so depressed about this. It was such a great thing in times past, this is such a bummer.
I have been happily sending Jacquie Lawson cards since they opened. They delight my friends. The combo of address book and reminders of friends' birthdays has kept me in contact with many who I no longer see regularly. The site always answered my emails in a few days. I'm in no rush. The webpage was quick and efficient. I don't use their FaceBook or other media options.
Now it is as if the company is under new management and given a "make-over" to make it trendy. It has only made it slow and cumbersome. It is pretty enough, in a way appropriate to the printed page but not a website. The display type is grey and in 10 pt type that makes it difficult to read. To simply send a card it takes multiple clicks, simply not worth the bother.
I have written them but they no longer answer their emails and tell you so in their FAQ section.
They have been the only option for really attractive cards but I fear they have exceeded their reach. They are simply too much bother. I fear that my days of sending electronic cards are over.
Once you get the system it's pretty easy. Like so many other things of course. Good variety of occasions can be covered. A wider variety of music would enhance the cards' attractiveness.
I've been sending these beautiful ecards to friends and family for a few years. I still find it enjoyable to choose just the right card that fits the occasion and the recipients are always pleased!
