ITHIRE.COM is an absolute nightmare. Their freelancers are untrustworthy and unreliable. I engaged one freelancer named Lars (likely a pseudonym), who not only failed to complete half of the project but also overcharged me significantly beyond the initial estimate. The work delivered was utterly useless, and I had no choice but to discard it. However, the worst part came later: out of the blue, they charged my credit card hundreds of dollars without authorization. I'm currently struggling to recover the stolen funds.

I had a great experience using ithire.com to find a web developer. The website was easy to navigate and I found the perfect developer for my project. Communication was excellent throughout the process and I was extremely satisfied with the final product.

One note that is positive, you can dispute charges on their site, but only for the hours worked the previous week. I had a contractor who "logged" dozens of hours and they ended up refunding me 5 hours total. Output quality was terrible - it was clear that he spent very little time on it and didn't QA any of his work. Thankfully, I won my CC dispute though.

They hide negative reviews of contractors. Contractors will poach customers off of Upwork and bring them to ITHire because they know the quality standards are not high.

This appears to be a totally scam website. I was directed to it by someone I met on Upwork. That freelancer was totally unqualified to do the job. I got charged a bunch of hours with no results. Tried to dispute the charges, but the dispute system seems to be broken. Nobody responds to messages. Don't even think about using it. I'll report the charges to my bank as fraud.

Small update: Even if my dispute is a success, they will only credit my account and not refund my money. This is an absolute sham and scam of a website. For sure will file a dispute with the credit card company.
