I didn't received my third package reached out to the company because i was moving told them not to charge my acct again. I ended up paying for 3 shipments I never received. Company policy? No refunds
I subcribed, filled out the profile and received two months of subscription before I cancelled. What is even the point of choosing the product type of things you're into if they don't give an ish?! The only 3 things I didn't want were mouisterizer, nail polish and eyeliner - got all 3 things both months. Idiotic. Contacted them to cancel - they emailed back and said they couldn't do that for me and gave me steps on how to... so I did. The next month I was charged and sent tracking info for a new bag. When I demanded a refund they tried to tell me I never cancelled it... it wasn't until I told them I had screen shots of the previous email conversation and cancellation verification that they agreed to refund me... then they "cancelled my account"... because it IS possible to control their own softwares active users from the inside *shocker* - Sephora membership is WAY better. You get things you're actually interested in, bigger sizes, plus fragrance, same price.
Fantastic deal... fantastic customer service! Great little bags filled with great cosmetics... what not to love! Any problem I ever had they fixed right away!
I've been a faithful ipsy customer for almost 2 years, I'm not sure if it's just but it's like they went to $#*!! This entire year I have been disappointed every month. And this profile your fill out is apparently pointless... I have never clicked nail polish but i have had a nail polish in the last 3 ipsy bags. Im absolutely ending my subscription & trying other beauty boxes. It's ashame i referred and bragged about this company in the beginning.
Very unsatisfied with my glam bag & I only reviewed it, I haven't yet gotten it in the mail. I specifically put no lipstick or anything to do with lipstick and yet, there's lip crayon in it. I'm so unhappy about it (after looking forward to it) that I would now like to unsubscribe. I no longer want to receive monthly glam bags, nor be charged for things that I have no use for. I could spend my $20 on things that I could actually use, somewhere else!
This company, Ipsy, does NOT have enough respect for their own paying customers to send them decent products for their money. I have subscribed to Ipsy for 2 1/2 years now and they get progressively worse each and every month. They continue to bombard me with repetitive products (same stuff every month). For instance, they tell you to fill out a profile of products you use and want to receive yet they DO NOT and WILL NOT send you the products you check on your profile as PREFERRING to receive. It's freaking useless. They pay no attention to the product reviews and continuously send you the very items you ask that you NOT be sent. It's almost like they are playing silly games with people. For instance, I have repeatedly in my reviews asked they not send me blush and nail polish. They absolutely send me blush and nail polish every single month. Why this is, I have no idea. They are ignorant, incompetent and stupid. Don't throw your money to this company. Try Sephora PlayBox or GlossyBox or a reputable business that is fair and respectful to the paying customer. I love Sephora Play and GlossyBox. They are GREAT. You don't have to deal with BS and, UNLIKE IPSY, they are run honestly and professionally. Sephora Play is only $10 a month and they send more products and better quality brands and you get great stuff for your money.
Ipsy is definitely not my favorite subscription service by far--the samples are not the greatest and I do sometimes get things I really do not like. The problem with the majority of the reviews on here is that most of these people are expecting to be getting full-size products and that they will all be everything they could have ever dream of! GET REAL! You are paying $10.00 a month. TEN DOLLARS A MONTH! A full-size version of ONE of the things you get each month is worth AT LEAST $20.00. The whole point of subscribing to these companies is to be able to try makeup products BEFORE you pay full price for it! You wouldn't want to spend $50 on a mascara only to find you don't like the brush or the way it sits on your lashes--that is a serious waste of money. So paying $10 a month to try before you buy will help you avoid wasting HUNDREDS of dollars a year! You not liking some of the things in your bags is not a failure on Ipsy's part, that is a success! If you want full-size luxury products, you are going to have to fork out a lot more than $10/month. It is really sad that so many of you ladies just do not understand this.
About a year ago I subscribed to Ipsy thinking it would be an exciting present I could treat myself with each month. No. Not the case. Everytme I received an item that was useless to me I reviewed it and said for them to not send me any more skin treatments due to my sensitive skin. Yet, they kept sending me the same type of product in a different brand. Although I understand they can't review EVERY customers reviews, I sent a review every month and nothing changed. I unsubscribed and they KEEP charging me! There is no call center, no way to delete account or billing info, and no way to contact other that through twitter. I have been trying to get them to stop charging my account for 2 months now and they STILL haven't gotten back to me through twitter. PLUS they haven't sent me any glam boxes even though I've been paying for them. WORST SUBSCRIPTION EVER!
You sign up and WHAM! Placed on a waitlist that forces you to spam people to get off of. This is AFTER you've given Ipsy your credit card/payment info.
There is NO customer service line, nor refunds. In my experience emails are automated & do not address your issue. Facebook page comments are answered by 2 women, who I suspect are employees. Tweets are ignored.
They are quick to snag your money on the first of the month, but ship slowly. Shipping is done in three batches, starting mid month. You may not get your bag for the month in THAT month, meaning you might be paying for the next month's bag without having received anything. My shipping estimates & actual shipping dates has change a dozen times, always pushing further & further back. My September bag, which no longer shows in my purchases, still hasn't arrived.
You WILL get to "peek" at your bag before it arrives. I subscribed because I thought it would be a fun way to explore new makeup. I was wrong. My bag, which not arrived, had mascara in it- mascara that has horrible feedback at that. Everyone already owns mascara, that's not exciting. Other items were a mini highlighter, a very cheap shadow brush, gel eye mask things, and a sample of facial scrub. Neither of the makeup items are full sized.
If you cancel your subscription before your bag arrives make sure to write down all the tracking info on FedEx's page, because Ipsy erases it, despite the fact it is outstanding & you had purchased it- it's not in your history- SCREENSHOT that! That is, if you successfully unsubscribe. You choose to cancel & they will ask you why- but you're only allowed to choose 2 options. Below that there is a HUGE, HOT PINK "cancel" button. Below that, in small, very light colored font, is the option to unsubscribe. This appears like this twice. I think it is meant to mislead you so that you remain subscribed/paying. Once you figure that out you will get an email to confirm. You MUST hit the link within to finish the process. I highly recommend that you SAVE the confirmation email you will receive shortly after!
Don't do it. Very unsatisfied customer. They don't care, they only want your 10.00 per month.
Beware!
I love and look forward to my bag coming every month! What I don't use, I put away for stocking stuffers at Christmas! I think the negative reviews are ridiculous! Perhaps the customer service could be better but right now I'm a happy camper!
First bag was fine. Then samples got smaller and smaller and when i told them what i didnt like. Thats exactly what i recieved,, why fill out evaluations if you dont abide by our preference.? And they send you REPEATS! And lots of hair products Yuck! Im done with Ipsy.!
I ordered an ipsy bag over a month ago. The day it was shipped out of the warehouse was September 9th. The day it was supposede to be at my house was September 14th. It's now September 19th and I have yet to receive my bag. I cancelled my subscription because I'm not spending $10 on a product I never even received. I want my money back and I will never ever subscribe to them again.
Someone used my card to send ipsy. I have never signed up for ipsy. They kept emailing me my flirts and last name to another state- 389 Dinan Salem road lot 1 typertown, Mississippi. I live In California. I contacted ipsy and was not responded to. I changed my debit card number and 1-2 days after changing my debit card number got an email from ipsy saying missed payment for September glam bag. Today is Friday September 2nd. Recieved an email yesterday, "failed payment for September ipsy bag" some girl or guy in Mississippi is sending herself this ipsy junk on my dollar and the company is so stupid and cheap that I can't even call them. Disappointed is an understatement. Not ok that they have my personal information.
I enjoyed ipsy my first year but their samples kept getting smaller and smaller and worse and worse and the second year I made the error of not cancelling on time and then I thought I cancelled after this and they billed $118 for the 3rd year when I thought I cancelled. They send you through this loophole and a game trying to cancel your account. I thought it was cancelled and got charged for another year! Its such crap. They try to post about their legal notice BS about it that they warn you to cancel before the first of the month or whatever but really doesnt work for you when you they autorenew you for an entire year and when you hit cancel and then click the confirmation link they send you in your email to cancel you just go in circles on their website. Currently it seems the only way out now for me is disputing with my credit card company. DO NOT SIGN UP DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP CHARGING EVEN AFTER YOU CANCEL!
I was trying to cancel my subscription for this month as I don't have the funds for it. I was trying to accomplish this before 1pm mountain time since it's the deadline and I didn't want to be charged the $10 for September (I was planning on re-subscribing in October). I went online and tried to cancel multiple times but I never recieved an email to finalize the cancellation process, so I emailed IpsyCare and the person I spoke with said that my email was not registered to a subscription account which is complete bull because I use that email to log into my ipsy account and I even sent her/him a screenshot of my account information listing my email address. I don't know if Ipsy is just money hungry and wanted to slow my cancellation process down to insure that they would get the $10 for September or if the people working at IpsyCare just don't know how to do their job. Either way, I'm not renewing my subscription. This is ridiculous and there needs to be a better system for people that want to cancel.
They charged my card And sent me a bag AFTER I had already cancelled. After two weeks I checked the tracking and apparently it had "been delivered" DAYS ago and Ispy did not notice and was going to let me just lose money and not get the bag. After calling and calling I sent an email and they said they would send me another bag. And it says it won't be delivered for a week and a half.
10 out of 10 out not recommend
Just got yet another ipsy bag, they sent me things that went perfectly with my preferences, I think they hit the nail on the head, they would get 5 stats, but... they take forever to ship, that's my only negative...
I received an email stating my ipsy was delivered but I have yet to receive it. How do I cancel all together and get me money back?
Ipsy sure does draft my account on time the 1st every month but here it is August 19th and I get an email this morning stating my Ipsy bag SHOULD arrive on August 25th... Really? 25 days after you take my money... seems like it's taking longer each month. I'm done with them and no more referrals either

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped
Answer: We offer email support (help.ipsy.com), but if you'd prefer to call, you can leave a voicemail at (888) 769-4526 and a representative will call you back as soon as possible!

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
