I ordered my 1st glam bag in the middle of May and it shipped out June 10. It sat in a town 2 hrs away from me for an entire week. Needless to say, I didnt receive my bag until June 24th. When I opened it, the eyeliner was broke in half Since I unsubscribed with them, I was unable to leave a review on their website so here I am letting everyone know what a crappy experience I had. I switched to Birchbox. Hopefully they dont use the DHL crappy delivery service!
I ordered a year's worth 1 1/2 yrs ago and they charged my card another $110 last January. There's no phone number to call so I wrote them. They sent an autoreply and said they would get back with me... case #*******. They never did and I was never reimbursed.
Each month I get my Ipsy bag and find wonderful products. I have not found a sample I don't like. The cosmetic bags are cute. I will be buying many of the products. Thanks for showing what will be in my monthly bags and sending them out on time every month. I'm 62 years old and still love my makeup.
I paid for my 1st month and never revived a bag. Thought I would give them another try. I loved getting them once they started coming. I got them for 5 months but on the 6th month I waited and waited... but it's the 16th and no bag, but they took the money out of my account on the 1st. It was always was in my mailnox by the 10th.
I absolutely love receiving my Ipsy bag every month. It is such a great deal. The product samples are amazing. In fact it saves me a lot of money purchasing new products. I forgot to change my address after moving so out of fault of my own my Ipsy bag was lost in the mail. They were so kind and courteous and returned my email the next day saying they would ship a new bag to my new address free of charge. I would 100% recommend!
I found better value with other subscription services (my favorite is play by sephora which is also $10).
I love my ipsy subscription. It's like Christmas every month! I never pay attention to specific dates for when it's coming though. It always shows up. So I don't bother tracking it. The products are well worth the cost. Usually when I look up the products to buy a second one, I realize they cost more than the subscription. I also cancelled it once (due to being a students and not being able to justify the cost at that point.) No issues. I cancelled it for a few months. And when I was ready to subscribe again I got to skip the waitlist. I've recommended it to a few people and they all love it. So I guess we might just be some of the lucky ones?
I really love this company. It's a great idea. This is my monthly gift to myself. The bags are adorable and over time I've replaced my make-up collection. And have gotten nail polish, face washes, hair conditioner, etc. This service is inexpensive and it gives you the chance to try new things. I've really liked some products that I've received that I normally wouldn't have bought. They might not get it completely right with every product they send u. But I'd say on average I have loved 4 out of 5 things in my bag. The only complaint I ever had was being able to claim my free gifts before they sold out. I did write them about it and got a response right away. I also noticed that they have added more things in that free gift category. So what I complained about has improved. I would definitely recommend ipsy to anyone who loves make-up.
I was charged for something i have yet to receive. These people keep sending me emails to review products that i do not have. It is just pathetic and a waste of time for a company to have so many bad reviews and dont seem to care at all. I do not feel comfortable with a company like this having my credit card information they will just keep charging. So to people who want to subscribe i will reconsider unless you want all the headaches and frustrations that come along.
After all the reviews I read with shipping problems, I just decided not to try them to avoid the call or emails. I don't want any headaches.
We did a change of address in August 2016 and EVERY company except IPSY changed our address as our mail was being forwarded. I have credit card that is charged monthly. I rarely use it and just pay it off each month. They have delivered ALL my bags to the old address for 7 months now. I'm pretty certain it's a felony to get into other peoples mail and not return it. This company is the worst. No customer service.
I was charged for my first bag on 5/1 and have yet to receive anything. Have sent two emails and no response. What kind of company has no phone support? I want a refund and cancellation of any further shipments. Worst company I have ever dealt with. STAY AWAY from these people.
I began mine in December of 2016. I really like trying all the different products and i think they matched me with my stuff pretty well. The shipping is what made me cancel. It is never here when it says it will be sometimes it comes even when the tracking says it hasn't shipped? Recently i ordered 2 separate items from their ipsy offer menu. It was suppose to be delivered yesterday so i check the tracking and it was damaged en route and sent back. Ipsy sent me a snarky reply to my questions. I still have not received my bag for this month which was supposed to come on the 12 and now its the 17 and the tracking has halted in Ohio since the 11, im in Michigan. So idk what the hold up is. My offers purchase was also damaged in Ohio. I don't understand whats going on. But going through this is not worth the monthly roller coster of excitement and disappointment.
Im being generous with a 2 star here. I will however start with saying i LOVE the products. However i have had SO MANY issues with shipping and customer service. My first 2 bags were on time. The next FIVE have been late, or my ROOMATE recieved hers a ridiculous amount of time before mine is recieved. Everytime ive emailed them theyve tried to just tell me its the post office and they have no control over it once it ships from their facility. Why are they not shipping at the same time if theyre marked for THE SAME location. It's absolutely pathetic that they also do nothing to try and make the situation better except for playing the blame game.
Subscribed to ipsy and was really excited about getting my bag, once it came i liked the pink bag it got sent in but the contents were a big let down. I got 5 of the smallest items ever made and stuff id never use in this really cheap clear bag smdh. You come out better taking your money to the store and purchase the regular sizes of stuff u really need instead of paying for stuff u have no use for... totally a waste
I received two packages from your company and did not know what IPSY was,!,,,,,. You billed me for ten dollars ea g time and I have returned both packages unopened the sane dY I receicex then. Can you please stop shipments right away. I do not want to receive any further merchandise and request you cancel immediately. Actually I have been forced to close my credit card account due to unauthorized charges.
Yes, sure almost everyone likes the excitement of getting their boxes! But when you want to cancel your subscription that's a whole different thing! I cancelled on February 21st the same time as boxycharm. Here it is May and I'm still trying to get ipsy cancelled! "What the hell!" The day after I cancelled, Meng emailed me with a message that they're sorry to see me go story. I saved the email and have sent that email back to prove when I cancelled, but no they don't read it! I'm sick and tired of trying! I've come to believe that it's not a person I'm dealing with, but a computerized robot! So, I'm just going to do something dramatic!
So first off, I had gotten the same nail polish two months in a row and I was PISSED. But wait... when I opened the cardboard packaging, there were finger prints on the cap, nail polish on the cap, and when I unscrewed the cap the nail polish was crusted all around the opening. Itś like someone's half-assed used nail polish was in my damn subscription, HELL NO. Also, the matte lipstick that came with it didn't have a seal, there is nooo way I'm putting that $#*! on after the nail polish incident!
So I signed up for ipsy in early January and was put on their waitlist. After a few weeks, I decided to cancel and try a different makeup subscription. I went through the whole cancellation process on January 29th. Everything was fine, until I get a bag early April and am charged for it. It would be one thing if I got the February bag because it was late in January when I canceled (even though you have till the 1st of the month to cancel). But April?! So now I have to go on and try to cancel everything again but I'm nervous that this will just keep happening.
Let me start by saying I like this company. They regularly send great products and awesome sample sizes. By filling out your profile and reviewing products, they can tailor each gift bag for you and you end up getting stuff you love. HOWEVER, this is an issue if you're Canadian like me. I LOVE some of the products I get, and then find out that they can't be shipped to Canada. Also, the exchange rate just isn't worth it anymore.
Answer: To cancel your subscription, please log in to ipsy.com and click on your profile picture in the upper right corner, then go to the "Subscriptions & Purchases" section to find the cancel button. Youll receive a confirmation via email, so just make sure you're still logged into your account when you open that email and click the link inside to finalize your cancellation. If you have any trouble at all, just email support@ipsy.com and we'd be happy to assist!
Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped
Answer: We offer email support (help.ipsy.com), but if you'd prefer to call, you can leave a voicemail at (888) 769-4526 and a representative will call you back as soon as possible!
Answer: I want to cancel ipsy but my password doesnt work.
Answer: I don't want to use glam bag anymore can y'all please cancel it for me please. Thanks
Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
