This was fun for a couple of months but got to be too much and I didn't need anymore face cream or masks. So I canceled. Or so I thought. Kept getting charged. The site makes it extremely difficult to drill down and figure out where to go to completely cancel. I just took them off PayPal as a payment source so hopefully that fixes it for food now.
Don't order ipsy there a scam they do nothing but take your money they have no customer service number they owe me a bunch of money for stuff I never recive a $#*!ing scam not worth it go to boxicharm
I cancelled after the first month because the bag of items was trash. They wouldnt let me delete my card info, so I said whatever I cancelled its good. Three months later I find they signed me up for a different refreshment pack and have been charging me monthly since. Do not order from them. Terrible company, no refund available.
I had been subscribed to the regular glam bag for about 5 years. I'm not sure why I didn't canceled sooner. Every month I hoped I'd get something decent, instead I have about 50 eyeshadow samples that are pretty much the same shade. They say they send tachta, fenty, and other high-end brands products. I most youre gonna get is tarte and it cosmetics(maybe once a year at that). Pretty much just get moisturizer and hair masks and stupid eyeshadow samples that you're never gonna use.
Their products are really nice when you actually recieve them but they really need to work on shipping and customer support. Half of my item have been missing or broken for the past several months. Every time I try to ask them about it they say they sent out an email telling me I wasn't receiving it. I never received an email and never got refunded. Their customer service is probably one of the worst that I have ever had to go through. I picked up my package at the post office and one of the workers said that company has the worst packaging they have ever seen and always causes them issues because the package opens and half the items fall out every single time. I would definitely recommend a different company like boxycharm to anyone reading this review. I recieved a package today and I only received 1 of 3 items and it was completely broken and spilt all over the package.
Ipsy is trash. First of all, they're a total ripoff. The things they send are generally not useful. Not to say that everything they send is useless, but 9/10 times they are. I'm just so frustrated. I ordered a June glam bag at the end of May. It is now July 12,3 weeks after shipment in June. I assumed my bag was lost, so I requested a refund just to be met with "Although we don't issue refunds, we always offer replacements for lost or damaged items (as long as it's within 45 days of the original shipment date)." Really? What an absolute joke. I do not want a replacement. I don't ever, ever, ever want to work with Ipsy again. I understand not offering refunds in most situations, but not even when the issue is on THEIR end? I would never ask for a refund if it wasn't completely on them. Don't support this company, you're better off ripping your $12.84 up. Go support a local beauty company and give an honest business some love.
I signed up for a 12/month bag. Charged 12.00 for April, received that bag end of May.
May 1 I was charged $28.60 then received a bag with three EXACT same items!
June 1 I was charged again $26.80 then received THE SAME THREE ITEMS. I emailed them and got a canned response explaining these were "mystery bags" and sometimes they contain same items because they are "popular " items.
So I cancelled my subscription in June but got charged $28.60 on July 2nd!
Terrible customer service.
Everything they sent me in my glam bag was completely wrong and went in direct contradiction to my preferences in my account. They dont care. Threw the whole thing away and cancelled, the products were cheap junk, not worth $75 as they claimed and were wrong for my skin type and tone. They make it super hard to cancel as well, which i think is illegal. Should be reported to the ftc by everyone so they do something about the false advertising and difficulty canceling.
My account is cancelled. I get into my account and it says it's cancelled. I have an email that says it's cancelled. But I got a charge in my card for another bag. I. My account says I only had one order so they are not sending anything right now but they charged me. This is a scam.
Dont do it. They will continue to charge you after you cancel and you will have to go through your method of payment to seek help in ending subscription. Even if you have received an email from Ipsy that you have cancelled don't fall for it.
Signed up in April, still waiting for May bag, June bag and now it's almost July. Keep getting smoke blown up my butt from their help center. Supposed to be sending a May replacement bag, been several days and no tracking. Great concept, horrible logistics canceled subscription
When I first signed up for Ipsy I was excited. I received my first bag and a timely manner with some awesome products and everything. Then came May as of today June 22nd I am still waiting on my May bag and I keep getting the runaround no straight answers. And I haven't received my June bag either it should have been here by now they tell you it's a problem with the carrier and the contact them the carrier tells you it's a problem with Ipsy and the contact them over and over and over and over can't get straight answers from anyone. Was very difficult canceling my membership but once I finally got it done they wanted me to try again. No way waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned
I was successfully bill for the months of May and June and my bags still have not been delivered. I am also not very happy with the customer service that comes with this company.
I look forward every month to receiving my Glam Bag, however I have noticed every month it takes longer and longer to receive my bag. Payment is taken from my account on the 1st of the month, today is the 21st, and I still have not received my June bag. I would prefer if they took their payment when the bag ships. I am thinking of cancelling my subscription.
Buyer Beware, we had a very difficult time getting them to stop charging the monthly fee. Had to finally call Discover to remove charge. That was a year ago. Guess what, they charged us again and when we went into the account, it says that the account has been cancelled.
I joined and never received the product. They have no customer service number to call so you can only write them by messenger or email. I was told to wait 9 more days. STILL did not receive it. Contacted them again and they said another one would be mailed out in 15 BUSINESS days. I said no I dont want to wait 15 more days and was told they don't issue refunds. I will not use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. This is poor business practice in all areas.
Canceled my membership and was bombarded with emails to re join. Apparently one of the emails automatically re signed me up if I didn't decline within a certain time period. This ended up re establishing my account and charging my credit card. Was told that they couldn't refund bc the BAG (of crap) already shipped. This was 3 1/2 weeks ago and now they say it "just shipped" - a complete scam joke - once you sign up they will charge you forever - BEWARE!
They charged my credit card yet never shipped anything! I cancelled and sure enough they charged me a 2nd time for a 2nd shipment. They never sent one thing! There is no one to contact so I had to cancel my credit card and dispute the charges!
I recieve my glam bags so late! I still have not recieved last months that I was charged for but was charged for the new month! I have requested to fully cancel my account and it is still not canceled! I am being charged for bags I am not receiving! I've emailed customer support many times, and it takes a week or two to hear back from them! I'm so frustrated with the whole situation! I regret signing up and wasting my money! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IPSY!

Answer: OK well it depends where you live because here in Canada it is $20ish dollars but if you live in the U.S. A then ya it's worth it. The products are really high quality and I havent had any bad products yet. But for me to live in Canada and pay almost $20 dollars, it's kind of pricey. So it really depends on you, where you live and your preferences. Hope this helped

Answer: Rosi, I have been a subscriber for several months. They send samples of many different brands but not Lime Crime. Here are some of the brands: City Color, trestique, NYX, Luxie brushes, Pacifica, star looks, Bella Pierre, Dermelect, be a bombshell, dls, hey honey, Marc Anthony, Eva nyc, MOR hand creme, Clarks botanicals, Avance, epice, belif creme, REN creme, and peek, and Trust Fund. During the ten months I have been a subscriber, I have only received a handful of high end makeup samples: the Balm, tarte, and smashbox. Some people love ipsy, but my experience has shown me that a lot of times they send me products that I don't like or ones that don't match my "beauty profile". So I will probably cancel soon. The products are not counterfeit, though. If I were you, I would not subscribe to ipsy. Hope that helps! -Heather
