I am new to ipostal1 and did not know what to expect. Mail Notifications and system are almost good except for a few kinks-
-Photo of mail isn't always acceptable because the sender can be missing from scan.
- The shipping is a bit confusing. I ticked 3-5 days with tracking, shipping to England. I asked for help and Consolation +Shipping was the reply so that's what I did with tracking. But there's more to the process than that- First consolation and Second Shipping- which would have given more precise options. As I was advised, I used Consolidate AND Ship therefore I didn't get the proper info. The mail shipment from the U.S. to U. K was sent with tracking to the waters edge of U.S. by the slowest mail-
You would think that knowing the shipment was going out of the country, and 3-5 days with tracking would indicate FedEx, DHL or Global Priorty- it was sent on 17 October and I still have not received my mail yet and it's 16 November!
I reached out to support and finally got a clear explanation of how the system works- a little more info on the shipping/consolation should be added to the website.

I received an email that I had a piece of mail available for pickup. I went to the printing station in Staples and I shared that I was there to pick up mail from my virtual mailbox. The employee asked for my mailbox number and went to the back of the store to grab my mail. She confirmed my identity and l was all set to go. Super easy!

For some reason I was expecting a tall large office building. But it's just like a regular shipping office.

We're happy to be able to say that we've had thousands and thousands of customers that have been able to successfully use our addresses for DMV, business, banking purposes and more. Throughout the years that we have offered our digital mailbox services, we've found that each institution/state has their own software and guidelines that are followed to verify the addresses. We highly recommend directly contacting the institution(s) that you are hoping to register your iPostal1 address with to confirm if it will be acceptable. We understand that there is a possibility that not all of our addresses may work for all purposes, and because of this we do provide you with a 30-day grace period. You're welcome to try us out - and if you end up closing the account within 30 days of signup because you couldn't use the address, you can reach out to us to request a full refund of your subscription payment. Answer: Hi Maxine, Thanks for your question. Our Virtual Office phone line allows you to receive calls and voice mail messages, so you don't have to use your private phone for business. However, some of our Office Building locations do provide live-answering services. This is something that you will need to pay them for directly, separate from your iPostal1 subscription. Answer: If you have a tracking information that shows the package was delivered to the store, then first step is to work with the store to confirm receipt and look for the package. If that does not work and store claims they never received or can't find the package, then you need to consult with the iPostal1 Customer Service team at service@iPostal1.com about next steps.
Answer: Given your specific needs, it pays to do a little homework before deciding which state or city will work best for you. Thousands of customers have used our service to register their business or for their DMV needs. However, in Oregon, Missouri, Washington State, and California, we suggest that you check with government agencies to determine what you can or cannot do with your virtual address. For banking, some banks or credit card companies may not accept transferring your address to your iPostal1 address, so best to check with them ahead of time.

You are correct about the shipping; we have a couple of options: One, a one-step consolidate AND ship that we offer as a convenience to customers who prefer not to do this in two separate steps, and second, a two-step consolidate where your items will be re-packaged, weighed and measured, and then ship where we show you the full list of carriers and service level options along with the price.
