I will preface this by saying i have been using this site for over a year now, so everyone knows that i did give it a genuine try. With that said let's get into the meat of this, this website is the biggest scam site there is. Thousands of fake profiles that the "international cupid team" will do nothing about and do you know why? Because that keeps their numbers inflated from the actual users and even fewer paid users on this site. You have scammers from Africa and the Philippines mainly, if you get a message from them, 99% of the time it will be a scam.

People will send you their number in the first message even if they do not speak your language and don't even get me started on those that do not read profiles, the ignorance is strong on this site. International cupid won't even ban scammers but they will ban you if you tell one-off, I could do a better job at getting rid of scammers than this whole team can. And despite what these idiots have written about verification being needed it isn't 80% of profiles are not verified, maybe if they did enforce it then it would increase the quality.

All in all, stay away from any of these cupid sites, they are scams and you will just end up wasting time and money like me.
**Edit- Added pictures to show there are scammers and no, no matter what the idiots at the site says they do not remove them since they make money off the scammers, its how they get you to buy memberships.

Don't ever put your money into this site, plenty of alternatives that are run by more serious people. My paid account was closed one day after i left a 1 star review at Trustpilot.

I'm not gonna call this a scam, but it's close.

- The subscriptions promising no ads are just bullcrap. I even have more ads now than before i paid for that crap, but apparently it's their own ads and that's somehow different. Deceptive marketing at best.

- On top of the "not ads", they also fill your inbox with daily nagging about buying their other products.

- Their mobil app has like 10% of the features from their website and it's buggy as hell with an extreme amounts of downtime.

- Like half the userbase is there just to beg for money, nothing else.

- Even though the place is filled with fake profiles, there are some real ones too. The problem is, most of them are just dumb people who clicked yes to try another one of cupid media's products and had their profile automatically created. Not like they actually fill in any information or even check the account further.

This is without doubt the worst online dating experience of them all.

PLEASE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS HERE OR YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THIS "BUSINESS". There is no way in hell the 5 star reviews on Trustpilot and other review sites are real. But then again, cupid media uses bots for their own dating sites, so why wouldn't they do it here?

My email was used to create a fake profile by InternationalCupid themselves to show more live profiles. Dishonest company with low-security site and profile verification.

I'm an American woman who is looking for a European, Australian, or New Zealander man. I specifically put in my bio I am only interested in men from anywhere in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. I get likes and messages from men from these regions yes, but also tons of messages and likes from men from the Middle East, South Asia, or Africa when I put in my bio where I would want a romantic interest to be from.

After I made my payment on this site they suspended my account and I can no longer log in, but they still deduct money from my credit card

Site is full of fake profiles, moreover they remove profiles after taking subscription fees, they also done even answer messages or objections.

I've joined this site for the second time and I realize that it is some bull$#*! for real. People on here contact you and when you contact them back they don't respond and I've been getting all females with the same age at 29 and I know this is a red flag straight up so don't waste your time with infested scammafied stupid site. I've spent 34.99 for one month subscription and ii am not happy at all, and you punk cowards behind this site... You're going to get what's coming to you, because karma is a $#*! scamming people for their hard earned money should be ashamed of yourself but I guess you don't know what it means to be ashamed because you are so use to doing what you do and that's scamming people BASTARDS! I am quite aware of scammers and really think i know how to spot them. But there are highly organized teams of scammers on this site. Girls individually gathering information on you. You might give one bit of information to one girl and another bit of information to another girl. That team will then put all that information together on you. They will then begin the scam. They will want your email address or skype or whatsapp, your real name. What you work at and were you live. You will think you are getting on well with this person. They will video call you and send you pictures. They will make you think that you are getting on really well with them. They might offer to send you a present, they will then get your address. Through your facebook they will get your family information. Brothers, sisters, parents etc... If you send them any provocative pictures they might hold you to ransom by sending those pictures to your job (linkedin) or facebook. You might get caught up in a situation where the boyfriend is beating the girl as he found your texts a very popular scam. I only used the website for 3 days. I blocked about 200 scammers yet 3 scammers got through but managed to catch them before the scam could start. All 3 were from Brazil. I was lucky enough to protect myself. They were all really charming, funny to talk to, i knew they were scamming but still enjoyed the conversations. I would cut them off just as they started scamming. I can see how people can easily be caught out. I would say stay well away, its just not worth it.

I open my account in International Cupid because I was heartbroken and I met 3 guys which I realized the 3 were a liars and womanizers, when I met the third one in person I was thinking he was honest with me about his life but he wasn't I experienced the online cheating which means even when I was commitment to him he always lied to me and I realized he had different accounts in dating web sites so he talked with a lot of girls but that wasn't the issue the real issue was when I almost get married with him and I discover another man he was very aggressive and bipolar so sadly I almost made the worst mistake ever I decide not get married with him but I want to warning to other girls who they look for the perfect guy and I swear he act like he was, but when we share more time I realized he is mentally unhealthy and I bet he is trying to find his next victim there or in another website

The tell-tale sign to me that this place is mostly scammers, is that I didn't upload a picture, yet get zillions of messages with the subject "You are cute", "Nice photo!", "You caught my eye", "I like your profile" (it has almost no info). Also telling is that almost all those fake looking messages, come from users that never viewed my profile (don't show up in the Activity -> Viewed My Profile area).

Gimme a break. Even got a few messages from "Gold" or "Platinum" members that ask for my email address, or give me theirs, in the first (or first few) messages... Total scammer-ville. My guess is that this site, and the other cupidmedia garbage sites, contract out to third-party "marketers" (aka professional scammers in suits) to put up loads of fake profiles and send out fake messages.

Don't believe a word of the CupidMedia robotic responses here, this site and all the others I've tried, are *systematically* full of scammers (or "marketers" in corporate Scamese, I suppose they'd say), no doubt to bulk up their user base and get people to sign up. Look elsewhere!

There are really a lot of scammers and e-mail collectors on this site. Frequently photos of models are abused. I reported that, but the photos keep popping up. This is clearly tolerated by support. Indications are ignored. Nobody finds his luck on this page.
Auf dieser Seite sind wirklich unglaublich viele Betrüger und E-Mail-Sammler unterwegs. Häufig werden Fotos von Models missbraucht. Ich habe das gemeldet, doch die Fotos tauchen immer wieder auf. Vom Support wird das ganz klar geduldet. Hinweise darauf werden ignoriert. Auf dieser Seite findet niemand ernsthaft sein Glück.
