Prodex insulation really made a difference in the temperature inside the post-frame building we built. It also solved the condensation issue we had. We ordered 4900 sq. Ft. From Insulation4Less on a Thursday and it was delivered the following Thursday - Not bad when you consider it came from Houston all the way to Montreal. I've recommended it several times.
We bought insulation4less because we had to replace the ceiling panels in our mobile home because had a bad roof with lots of leaks. We looked in Home Depot for something lightweight but couldn't find anything. We googled insulation and found this product, bought it and we can't be any happier. We only have one room to go and the rustic color gives it a cozy cabin feel. We are senior citizens and we did it all by ourselves because it is so lightweight. This is not just for barns and sheds, this is really an answer to our prayer. One more note, we cut the trim 1 and 1/2 wide and stained each piece. The trim gives it a special look
Great product fast ship, wish I could of gotten it thicker, 1/2 inch maybe. There is a small communication issue, but if you just order online without needing to talk to someone ez pz. Thanks.

I have been using Prodex Total for the past few years and have found it to be very effective for my metal roofs. It is much easier to work with than 1" styrofoam and gives more R-Value. I highly recommend Prodex and all their product lines. I have never had an issue with shipping thus far.
We looked at, and experimented with, several insulation options before choosing Prodex products. We have recently installed the product in 9 metal buildings being used for Cannabis production. It is very important to use the proper tape and glue that is available as well to ensure that the product installs easily. We have been very impressed with the quality and performance of the Prodex insulation products and have been recommending it to others in the cannabis industry. The product is very cost competitive when compared to spray foam applications. The ease of installation allows for vertical or horizontal applications.
Still haven't received my product yet. I ordered on 9/17 according to Trucking company tracking it arrived at local terminal on 9/22 and no one has been able to find it any where. I started calling both the trucking company and these guys on Monday before we were pouring on Friday 10/2 and didn't receive any real answers until I asked to cancel my order and I was told if you cancel we still charge you and you don't get you product also we will charge you for the return shipping for the product that no one can find. Had to jump through hoops to do something else and still don't have my insulation. Finally get an email today 10/5 that they will ship it out again after I no longer need it. So if you order be sure they use some one else besides for Roadrunner Freight to ship it.
We really like Prodex Insulation4less. We needed it on a tight schedule and they came through. We installed it under the new metal roof of our house. The first thing we noticed was we could hear our tv during a heavy rain. It helped us with our energy bills both is the summer and winter.
Thanks again Gary
Easy install so far, but too early to tell what I will get for temperature control (Steel quonset building) I will find out this winter. The only thing disappointing with the prodex 10 is that the heat seam sealing doesn't work, so I had to buy a whack of reflective tape to seam the seals. It sticks in some places, in others it wont stick or it will let go after a few minutes. The metal tape works though, just an additional cost.
The trick is to start at a low temperature with your heat gun and keep increasing the temperature until you get the foam soft enough to stick. Once the foam is soft enough, you'll have no problem sealing the seam.
Exactly as advertised. Being a professional mold remediation company MoldStoppers does crawl space encapsulations. After a thorough mold remediation we install a vapor barrier and foundation insulation. We previously installed 2" rigid foam board on the foundation. We recently switched to Prodex for numerous reasons. The material has a higher R value. It is pliable and will fit in 16"x32" access doors. We found it less labor intensive. Most importantly it is mold/moisture resistant. Very few times have I been as happy with a product. It has allowed MoldStoppers to provide clients with a far superior product at a lower cost. It truly is as advertised.
Prodex is great. I just used it to insulate a small wall between my attic steps and the attic. Its an old log home and there is no studding, just boards lathe and plaster. Wow want a difference it made with just 1 layer! I have been using it for several years. Always easy to work with and very effective.
I reviewed several different products before deciding on my Prodex purchase. Being a swimming pool cover contractor I noticed the insulation layer in the Prodex product was the same stuff used in the commercial pool covers you will find at your local High schools/Gyms & Country clubs. The three days it took to erect the 30 x 45 (24FT high) building the temperature was 105 degrees outside. The temperature inside the building was 15 degrees cooler. The insulation looks neat and clean. Shipping was quick and easy. Product arrived in good shape. I would do business with Insulation 4 Less again.
Bought this on the recommendation of another astronomer. Use it to wrap the tube of my SCT telescope. These telescopes have a problem with air currents trapped inside (they are sealed on both ends). This leads to deterioration of optical performance, and the need to wait many hours after the telescope has been moved from inside to outside where there is a large temperature difference, e.g. in winter. Falling temps also cause a problem. The Prodex insulation largely solves these problems. Insulation4Less shipped promptly. Insulation is easy to cut and fit.
First off, the people at Prodex very helpful. They responded in a timely manner to every question that I had. No matter how juvenile my question was. We can already tell a difference with the product on our Quonset due to the extreme heat that's generated during the summer here in Florida.
This company is the absolute worst. I ordered about 1400 sqft of insulation. I asked them about how long to ship. They said I should receive in about 10 days. After weeks with nothing, I contacted the shipping company. They said they never received product to ship. I contacted insulation 4 less they said they found order it would arrive next week. That was a month ago. I contacted the shipping company again and they again confirmed no order had arrived to them. This company took my money and just plain ripped me off. Save yourself and go with a reputable legit company. This operation is fly by night * scam company.

We didn’t know that he hadn’t received his order until we saw his scathing reviews.
Rather than notify us that he didn't receive the insulation, Mr. James Lemmi chose instead to name call, exaggerate and lie on this and other review sites.
We emailed Mr. Lemmi the below evidence that the shipper dropped the ball and we were unaware that he didn’t receive his insulation. We and ask Mr. Lemmi to modify his reviews and complaints to reflect the truth of the matter. Rather than remove the hyperbole, exaggerations and claims of scam, he instead replied: “I don’t care…”
Below is proof that:
We offered him a choice of a full refund or an extra insulation roll added to his order.
The carrier dropped the ball on getting his shipment to him after telling us that they would.

Good morning Kathy,
I've finally gotten an update from Estes on this. Unfortunately they are advising this shipment was not located as they originally reported and this is still missing. At this point it would be best to file a claim on this. I do apologize. Do you have the information on how to file a claim?
Thank you,

Good morning,
We contacted our shipping broker to check on your order. We will get back to you after hearing back from them.
So this company sells the most amazing insulation. I looked everywhere and this was so thin with has such a wonderful r value. It is light and easy to carry around. It goes up easy and provides great insulation value. I think this is the best product for the money for sure. I hope places like Lowes and HOme Depot begin to carry this product.
I'm not completely done covering my pole barn, I'm about 60% completed and I can see a difference already. Also I'm just putting up a single layer with a space between the sheet metal and the insulation. I'm taping all seems and edges not sure ill. Get R16 but it will be better then R0 with nothing. It sure easy and clean to install. I'm using a shingle nailer works great, also slap stapler a little.
Prodex is flexible and easy to work with. I put it in my garage and pole barn. I also did a temperature check before and after install like some of the videos I saw on the insulation4less website – It all checks out. It's good stuff. I filled out their online form. They emailed a product recommendation, tech sheet, and links to articles and install methods. It was a little out of my comfort zone at first because I'm used to gabbing with people on the phone. I got it in about a week.
Installed product in my shop on the interior of a temp controlled workshop/paint booth with exterior wrapped 6 mil plastic for dead air space. Helps to reflect light and maintain temp. Installing on ceiling was a chore. I used 2" diameter metal discs for rubber roofing and screwed them up but not tight to avoid crushing the Prodex to maintain insulating values.
Great product and I will build a booth in my shop for our RV for heated winter storage. However, I will sheetrock interior and wrap exterior with Prodex for an easier install.
I've been using the product in four homes in 3 states over the last 15 years, in very warm and humid environments, and in very cold and dry environments. Great product for insulation, water barrier and sound deadening. Always received within a couple of days in perfect condition.
We were debating about the insulation we wanted to put in our new pole barn. I came across Prodex at Insulation4less and felt it would suit our needs. My contractor was skepticle but I still ordered it. It has been so easy to install and does a wonderful job. I am now thinking of all the other places I want to use it!

FACTS:
A. Chris B ordered 4 rolls of insulation. He got 9 rolls!
B. The shipper misplaced his initial order. We then shipped a replacement order. The shipper then sent the customer the original order PLUS 1 roll of insulation that belonged to someone else.
C. Chris B. Accepted ALL the rolls! He didn't tell the shipper that he already received his insulation. He didn't notified us that he received more than twice as much as he ordered.
Fortunately, the above conduct is not typical of most people. It's unfortunate that a small portion of people of poor character are able to write whatever they wish in public forums.
