Did a search to check one thing. Marriage Date. It was not provided. Didn't care about any other information, because I already knew the basic stuff that I got for free by doing research. All I wanted was the marriage date and it was blank. So it was a TOTAL WASTE OF MY MONEY and I want a refund!

I signed up for the 5 day trial and forgot to cancel on the 5th day. The $37 was pending in my account the next day and the agent was able to reverse it immediately and also offered me a lower price if I didn't cancel. I've dealt with other companies who were not so nice about the exact same thing, so I was honestly surprised that the agent was super friendly and happy to assist me, without any attitude or pressuring. Thank you!

I paid for what they promised would be a death notice. They advertise services that they do NOT provide. In fact the service they provide is free information one can obtain on a simple internet search. None of what's in their 'report' is what they claim to offer. Completely fraudulent scam company. Beware! Save your money don't waste it on Instant Checkmate.

For such a Large Firm, I felt like I was the only one in the office. Great Product and Great service!

I will definitely use this site again and refer to friends I got easy access to all the information I was looking for and it didn't cost a lot so that was a plus

I found the self background check extremely accurate. I needed exact dates for a job interview and the information I pulled from my report was spot on. Outdated information, I was in the military and there was reasons for putting someone with my knowledge under a watch list, however, I am no longer enlisted and I verified through another source that I am not on a government watch list but this site claimed I was and by making a account it would show me some details associated with this record, NONE were shown but yet stated they would be,. Hmmm, just got reeled in to what I am now realizing is a scam.

Don't be stupid, avoid InstantCheckMate.com or pay and get outdated useless crud on yourself or someone else.

I was put off by the numbers of inaccuracies I found using this program. Work and educational histories are just incorrect or missing in many cases. The fact that an individual has be deceased for many years is not even mentioned and in one case, current (totally bogus) information has been supplied as fact. This is NOT a program that is to be trusted.

You people make me sick. You listed a man who I'd a sex offender at my address who never resided here then tried to lie you couldn't do anything about it. Told me to call the police WHICH we have! You're putting innocent lives in danger! And should be ashamed of yourself!

Website was just really a total rip-off. It gave no information it promised it would. Don't waste a dime of money on the site, there billionaire's from taking ppl's money

Just called their 1-800 number to clarify a payment and the rep answered on the first ring and offered to combine payments and save me money, which I had no idea was an option. He went out of his way to thank me for my being a loyal customer for years and to go ahead and submit the combined payment plan right away. The searches that I've done over the years when looking up social and professional contacts have given me more peace of mind, and ultimately have provided myself and my family more safety. I'd highly recommend this site for its ease of use, friendly interaction of customer service, and commitment to providing a highly useful product to the web community and beyond.

First off, great intro on the website because it looked very promising. Actually signing up for a subscription for their $5/mo membership turned our to be confusing online. Upon being close to giving up because of a 5 hour wait for my membership to go through, mysteriously the fee dropped to $1.99/mo. Finally fighting through the difficult website signup procedure, I tried a search and SURPRISE, upsell to $35/mo. On top of that, when testing it to see if me, myself and I could be searched, I got zero results. Yeah, me who lived in one place 20 years, with mortgage, jobs, emails, phone numbers, USA citizenship, marriage, kids, bla bla bla. Yeah, no result. I cancelled immediately and SURPRISE again, they charged me the full $5 anyway. Complete rip-off. Useless scam website.

Instant Checkmate is a much better choice. Though there may be minor inconsistencies sometimes, their information is the most up-to-date of any. Their Customer Service is A+++++ and always willing to help. Their pricing is also far superior to any of their rival sites. Highly recommend.

I had a family project to work on and this site helped tremendously! I'm very happy with the information I've received for the price and thus far it is all pretty accurate. Will maintain my membership until the end of my project! Fair pricing compared to other sites also!
