I was looking for information on a person who lives in my town. When I got the infotracer.com preliminary results (that is, before I paid) the name I was looking for and in my town were listed among about 8 results. After I paid and got the final results, there were only 5 results and the name I was looking for in my town was not listed. Apparently they grab your location from your computer and use it to indicate they have results in your town for the name you're looking for, then give you actual results after they have your money. This is the old "bait-and-switch" scam and is entirely illegal. Do yourself a favor and don't pay these con artists a thing.
