Is it possible to vote for 0 stars? I too got roped into this rouse. Not only did it rope me into a SECOND trial membership with some other BS site for $1, but when I went to cancel my membership via their third party billing company (Epoch.com), I started by cancelling my membership with whatever that $1 charge was for, and then when the page refreshed, there was no listing for my membership to iHookup.com. I checked hours later, still nothing. The next day, I get charged $29.99 for my monthly subscription. I finally contacted Epoch.com and after a heated argument, they reluctantly refunded me my money. I explained to them the situation but they didn't seem to care that they were in business with a blatantly fraudulent company.
In addition, I filed a formal complaint with econsumer.gov. I suggest you all do the same.
Theres plenty of lassies in my area but none want to go further with me that a bit of dirty chat. Even that doesnt happen much as I dont get many replies. My mate says try that hookuphangout site instead she gets more replies, so mite do that instead. Typical though, you search and see loads of lassies and then you cant get anything going with them.
It's horrible. Definitely bots. I made the mistake of paying for the trial membership. BIG WASTE OF MONEY. The search results never reflect what you want, they just keep refreshing the girls they want to show you, even if they don't even live by you. It's a waste, and a scam for anyone just looking to get laid the easy way. I hate to tell you gentlemen, there are no short cuts.
I agree with some guys and disagree with most guys. Many haters on here claiming that iHookUp is a scam. Don't know what they were expecting. This is one of the best sites I have used and imo it may be the second best hook up site after Vanessa69.com, but only because there are more girls on it. Generally speaking iHookUp is pretty awesome so I don't know what everyone is complaining avout.
Everybody that has made a statement about ihookuo.com being a fraud is 100% correct. Trust me, you are not ever going to hook up on the site. I was a good friend with someone involved with this site and it truly is a scam. The same people answer multiple responses from the men who write and 99% of the time it's a guy who responds to you, who might actually own some of the business, sorry to tell ya, but believe what the other customers say, it is true, SCAM!. The people who own this site are making approximately 20,000.00 a month from suckers like you, hard up lonely men. Meet someone the old fashion way, In Person. This way you know what you are getting. Oh, and by the way. This group runs about 30 other sites just like this. Its and problem out there, BE CAREFUL.
The female profiles on this site are 99% fake. I received 1-2 messages, faves, & flirts every day immediately after putting up a profile. I would respond to most and either receive no reply, or a reply that was completely off subject, like it was a random message from a pool of pre-determined messages.
After then researching and reading reviews on this site, and realizing it was probably all fake, I started replying to "girls" who messaged me with messages asking if they were fake. Suddenly, wouldn't you know it, I no longer was receiving any messages from new girls at all! I attributed that to the site operators probably realizing I knew the jig was up, so they took my profile out of the fake message rotation.
Needless to say, I deleted my pictures and quit logging into this fraudulent site. DON'T use this site... save your money! It's all fake.
Got an email from the site asking me to verify/activate my account. Have no idea how the account got created, it certainly wasn't created by me. Now getting mail messages from the site notifying me of '"my profile" views/flirts, messages from female members. Have sent them a message through their "contact us" page, asking that my account be deleted as I have no interest in it and didn't create it. I refuse to follow their links to "unsubscribe" or "activate account" so that it can be deleted as I don't trust the links provided by emails from unknown senders.
I'm a woman. I want to register on this site for the heck of you-know-what. When I registered as a woman, I received this message saying "account is suspended" even if I haven't used the site before. I tried registering as a woman for at least 10 times and I always get this kind of message. I even asked my female friends who wanted to try this site if they get the same message. Apparently, they also receive the same message from the site. Then I tried registering as a man... well what do you know, the site worked! Now I have an ihookup account saying that I am man looking for a man. WTH. This site is so gender-biased. Can't a woman hookup too? Total bull crap.
Well signed up and thought that getting the typical flirts but then started to get emails thanking me for contacting them even though I didn't. Even when you reply to an email you don't get a response. Thankfully I only signed up for the 2 day trial.
This is such a clever scam getting guys to let their wishful thinking to pay for subscriptions. I feel so bloody stupid! On a hunch I decided to do research on the Internet and came across reviews here. The only way I can feel smart about myself is signing up for a two-day trial and canceling it a day in advance because this was eating my my time.
Pretty good site overall & was a good idea to test it out but will go back to HookupHangout.com as that's still the best sex finding site on the net IMO.
This website is a scam and a joke. I found this during my search for fun sex chat, but I noticed some things that were too good to be true. One, many girls were in the same metro I live in or Inglewood, California. The second weird thing was the girls had porn star/bikini model models, my picture wasn't visible, yet they wanted to hook up? And the third strange thing was as soon as I logged in, I received IM's from girls saying they wanted to give me a good time. I didn't pay money to this site and after reading the other reviews, I surely won't. Another scam, and avoid this!
This is a SCAM! If you Have Paid for it, Reverse the Charges on your Credit Card, you have up to 3 years to do this. Claim fraud which it is and you will automatically get the money refunded to you and they have to prove it's legitimate. Enough People doing this and the CC company will cancel their account. Pass this on. I'm doing this and you should too. 90 percent fake adds and bot accounts most overseas.
I joined last winter (I'm a male looking for mature women) and quit because of their strange system of having a limited geographical area of women accessing my profile at any one time. I wasn't looking for "girls" from South Africa wanting to "fave or flirt" me.
I did meet a women who fit my requirements and we "hooked up", prior to my quitting. She looked like her photos and was no more untruthful in her profile than I was.
I rejoined recently and have been defrauded for some money that they said I needed to pay for an additional website I supposedly joined. Questioning their operating procedures has gotten me no interest at all from the "women" on the site. To add insult to injury, one girl contacted me to join for "free" a months worth of chat, all I had to do was give them my credit card info. I guess when your country's broke, suckering the Americans is a solution. Remember, there are anywhere from 25 to 100 more men per women on these sites!
Bn using this n HookupHangout for around a yr. Get loadsa msgs every day without fail n hardly ever manage to reply to them all, poor things lol! Sum of them are total chancers n you do get a few weirdos lol but that kinda thing doesnt bother me, I just block them. Most of the time its really good and a had loads of dates if thats the right word n even had a threesome one time after a few glasses of prosecco! Sumtimes a just chat or webcam if I cant be arsed going out or doin ma makeup but when im in the mood its ace meeting different guys and getting spoiled rotten n fussed ova! Doubt my mum would be proud of me but a stopped caring about what she thinks a long time ago lol! Better go and check my new messages as I def could use some fun this weekend lol bye hope that helps;-) xoxox Suzie K
This is one of these sites that you see advertised everywhere. Its well-known and it doesnt disappoint. Id say its my second favourite site that ive tried (if youre interested, my top recommendation would be FlirtyDater.com but its close between those two). Highly recommended, 9/10
Joined ihookup less than a month ago and must say im quite liking it so far. My only issue is that it should be cheaper. When there are so many free sites out there you are looking for value when you pay. Obviously, you get better girls on the pay sites because women want a man with money, even if its just for a bit of slap and tickle on a Friday night, they like guys who arent cheapskates. So IMO value for money means meeting up in person with real girls. When I use FlirtyDater.com I dont have a problem paying the monthly fee because I know ill get my monies worth as I have been for ages. My concern with ihookup is that for the money ive paid this month im not sure id say ive had value. It might just take time and I will be renewing for another month at least to give it a proper chance, but I expect more than one bang for my buck. In summary, good but expected better for the price.
I signed up based on a review on another site that was actually positive. 30 seconds after signing up I received two new messages from other members. That's a bad sign because they're are obviously bots on the system.
Before really spending a lot of time on my profile I ran a search. I saw page after page of girls with one picture and clicking on them all yielded the same basic profile: a few questions answered with poor grammar. Looking for guys 18-60. Checked all of the boxes under relationship type. These were so obviously fakes it's hard to believe the admins couldn't have caught them if they wanted to. Bottom line, out of 4 pages (about 60 profiles?) I saw maybe 4 that were legitimate. Don't waste your time and especially don't waste your money.
Well, I am a victim for this too. Those replies which I get for my messages are bull $#*!. They don't even reflect the context... they are ridiculous. I should have registerd aff instead of this... Stay away from this site. I am 100% sure those pics belongs to some models not from original people..
It is not a scam! Unfortunately there are not many girls on this site and I was not lucky for now. Right now but i have not found anything better out there than Vanessa69.com. But problem is that this site is getting more and more popular and that means soon it will be populated with guys as well.
Answer: My guess is that they are fishing for your email so they can send you spam. But maybe they are real, genuine people, though no one seems to be real.
Answer: I don't know, but I wouldn't waste my time.
Answer: adultfriendfinder.com has worked for me. Although they do have a free membership it is very limited on what you can do. You do have access to the instant messenger and are allowed 5 messages a day and you can goto members that are streaming video for free and possibly chat with them online the 5 messages applies to this area as well. They do allow you to use a gift card to pay for membership, if you need to be discrete about being a member. I think the lowest amount they accept for gift card payment is 10.00 and that would get you 9 days of gold membership. Basically 1 day less than the dollar amount used. But i have not found anything better out there that is free.
