My guess is that they are fishing for your email so they can send you spam. But maybe they are real, genuine people, though no one seems to be real.

Yeah you do get a bunch of spam and scams people overseas in Accra Africa and such asking for money but posting that they are from a US City. They try and bait you in by sending photos, but when you ask for a private photo they try and lure you into the pay per view section scamming dudes for money. Ask lots of questions and more, where are you from, where did you go to high school, college ect, then verify it. Don't give out your personal info ever! So setting up a junk email you don't plan on using very much to correspond
Such as yahoo and others. Hope this helps.
