The resume and cover letter templates are great. I tailor each (minor changes) to each job description; it's efficient and easy to add notes and track progress (interviews, offers, status) directly within the website.

Also, new jobs are posted frequently, and there has been good response rate from either recruiters or hiring manager to set up a phone screen.

The actual applications are redirected to the company site or other third party application site.

So far- so good!

I have had my job posted for 4 days now and have had 7 qualified candidates apply thus far! I really enjoy the platform. It is user friendly to navigate, especially the messaging center. I also receive emails with each interaction so I don't miss anything.

My account rep called me today to go over any questions I had and was very helpful. I am really excited to use this for the next few weeks. If I hire someone within the first 30 days of this ad listing, this will be my new go-to platform!

I GOT THE JOB

From the very beginning, iHire was more helpful that any other job search website. Since many large businesses use Applicant Tracking Software, the iHire matching tool that is available on their website helps to evaluate your resume against each job description on a percentage basis. It is an excellent tool! In addition, I can't say enough about the help that was provided me through iHire's Customer Success Agent. She was invaluable in helping me improve my resume and landing the job!

Hmmm

With so many free sites, I have a hard time paying a high initial price tag. What little I am able to see seems to look good. It's kind of like buying a golf bag from a picture online, the $70 ones don't look much different than the $270 bags.

Great range of available jobs

The job I ended up getting was listed on here. Great amount of positions shown in emails. If there's going to be a pay wall to get all the info for certain listing, at least have the name and address/city of the place available for free

Incredibly fast candidate presentation
March 5, 2023

I had a high level, very hard to fill management position in a retained search for 18 months with no hire made. I posted the job on iHire and within 48 hours had a candidate that was hired within two weeks of getting the candidate's resume. I am on a three-month trial but I will definitely be extending to an annual agreement.

Great applicant traffic generator

IHire has definitely given us a boost in applicant traffic for the positions we've posted, but the quality of the applicants hasn't been as great as we were hoping for. However, we just started using the platform and are hopeful this will change over time.

There's a great lack of review for companies posting jobs. I don't know on what end this comes from, but a Job Title should match the requirements in the description, and the salary range better match that. I've seen a few now that required degrees in fields that were higher than what the job title declared, and the salary range was easily deemed for the Job Title, not per their job requirements and experience.
Jobs posting as remote, but then in descriptions want someone to be onsite, or go to the job site... isn't Remote work. Remote is being able to work from home... not "Having to travel to such and such location." These things are not checked by IHire, and paints a bad light, and dampens the expectation of actually finding something I'm looking for.

Sourcing and Courses

It was a good experience to you use ihire for souring platform for automotive professionals. It gave a variety of automotive technicians across the US and even has a section for those passive candidates to mention they are open to other opportunities outside of their current state. The only downside to platform is those passive candidates I tried to engage with where not responsive which is a part of sourcing. And some the candidate information phone numbers and emails are outdated. Since being a part of iHire I was able to attend 2024 recruitment trends course which was fantastic! In addition, the communication with my ihire account manager Lisa has been great she took time to train me on how to use the site, gave best practices and made such a pleasant experience.

My resume was according to the view properly formatted and used a proper font selection. The stand out is your site advised a summary of experience type of opening. This summary of skills has been marked obsolete, and according to the other site is not preferred even in the cover letter.

Such inconsistency in resume building advise leaves me conflicted as to whether the profession of Resume Writer and the advise provided by sites is to be trusted. This made all the worse when I have been searching for work for quite some time.

Although we cannot speak to the advice that you received from other resources, including a brief paragraph summarizing your key skills and qualifications at the top of the resume is very important, and we recommend labeling that section of the resume as “summary” or “career profile.”

KARA IS A GREAT ASSET! She was so much help. I personally would have kept searching but my boss decided to hire internally and cancel. There is a learning curve but Kara's support cut right through that. The portal is such an efficient tool once you learn the ends and outs. Makes easy work out of keeping track of candidates and organizing the hiring process. I wish I had been aware of the service 2 1/2 years ago before pandemic times made the market so incredibly difficult. I would highly recommend iHire to my colleagues.

IHire is a good place for lawyers and aspiring lawyers to find a job that will allow them to get a foot in the door. The website layout and feel is very user friendly. Only complain is that some times it feels like they are always trying to sell a subscription or a service such as signing up for premium to "push" your resume.
