I still haven't received my product that was due on the 22nd of april and they don't answer my emails!
They blocked my account for suspicious activity and don't answer 1 month! My order was ******* made on 19th September.

So i made a purchase for some of the extract powders. Of which i payed a 1280. The shipping included. They gave me 3 choices if courier companies. I chose UPS hence 2x cheaper and the delivery date is much sooner. Bargin right. Who wouldnt choose them. 2 days later UPS calls me telling me i need to pay a further 680 to them, so they can pay customs, freight shipping and added UPS costs. I mean why couldnt you be honest and just added it in yhe first place. Why pay for shipping if im gonna pay more for the delivery than the actual products cost. And i get an added threat on the same day say i have 14 days to pay otherwise they are gonna add a penalty cost on top of the 2500 penalty for not complying.(the penalty is 2500 + UPS gets to add there own unlnown amount to the penalty.) Their products might be legit and you would get your products. But not after their own greed would empty your wallet. They say i have no way of returning the product after i heard of the hidden costs. So my product is stuck in customs, and their trying to force me to pay their con scheme. Mabe im to sensitive but ill give you guys some sreenshots and you decide for yourself. Also the account number i have to pay to is UPS. Why if they say its customs release fee(which according to law is 60). How do u get to 680? Point is their tring to steal from you, otherwise they would have made it clear on their site. If their hiding something in the fine print somewhere ro cover themselves, well then that makes them a company that steals from their customers.

We state this under each carrier in bold bright orange lettering, during cart summary/review, and on our Shipping Information page as well. We also provide the link to each countries Customs website so that customers may become as familiar with local laws as much as possible.
Although there is always room for improvement, we do communicate this multiple times during the checkout process and provide further resources for customers to learn more. Please be advised, iHerb does not receive any money from such charges as these are imposed on the residents of the country by their countries government. Such charges are typically put in place to discourage customers from purchasing from abroad and to promote domestic purchasing, as well as, generate revenue for the government. Such laws often hurt residents of countries, as often times the quality and pricing of foreign products is superior to anything domestically available. We recommend communicating your negative experience with such laws to your local government representatives.
We also recommend accepting the order and paying the fees as we typically will cover some of the charges as a one-time courtesy. Please be advised, in these circumstances, packages are often never returned to us and are simply disposed of by customs. If this occurs, we are unable to provide any reimbursement for such fees or the order.

In my last review, I recommended that people were careful because of the potential import charges that a package could incur, even on a small package, so I was very careful with my last order, double checking that it wasn't over the maximum £15 so I wouldn't get charged. I had some reward points to use up so I think it came to around £15.96, and then when the £1.45 rewards were off it came to under £15. Sadly, I didn't know that iherb.com disclose the original price so I was charged again by royal mail and border force. It seemed utterly ridiculous considering it was only £0.96 over the £15 threshold, so I complained to both royal mail and border force. Borderforce are complete baby wipes and wouldn't budge, but I guess they would if the same happened to them, but royal mail were helpful and refunded me all the charges. This time I had only ordered a few lip balms and lip tints, so beware when ordering from iherb.com. Make sure that the £15 threshold is below even with any reward points deductions. iherb.com is especially useful for the Crazy Rumor lip balms, which I love and are use too expensive to order from eh crazyrumors website itself because of ridiculous shipping fees.
We understand your frustration, but unfortunately these charges are out of the control of iHerb. We do have the following information in the shopping cart when you select Great Britain as the shipping destination:
Orders over £15 via Postal Airmail may be charged a Value Added Tax (around 20%), a Customs Duty (around 12%) and a flat £8 from the UK Royal Mail as a handling charge.
When you use Airmail, which is delivered by Royal Mail, it is less likely to get assessed these fees, but it still does happen on occasion.

If there was an option to not even have a star I would pick that first and foremost. Where do I start with my experience with iherb? Well let's start from the beginning when I purchased multiple products being sent to Canada. Select Canada as country. Select English as language. Select Canadian funds as currency. Select all the products that I'm looking to buy and listed under Canadian funds. My total is given to me in Canadian funds. Next thing I know is my Visa statement is showing US funds. An $82 difference. Iherb what is the point of me selecting the country I live in with the currency I need if you're going to charge me US funds either way? This is very dishonest and not accurate. I wish I would have read online reviews before purchasing with this company. As I can see from many other reviews this is an ongoing occurrence. I then reached out to them via email to see what they could do to help me fix this problem. I got the same response over and over again "sorry this happened, sorry for this inconvenience " no indication that they wanted to help me get my money back. No other Solutions. No other customer service ways of potentially offering me something off my next order or returning any type of money to me for the difference of the exchange and the mistake from their website. I have screenshots of my order showing that my order was in Canadian funds. I have a screenshot of my bank account showing the $82 difference coming up as US funds.
To summarize my experience... I ordered products assuming that they were being sent to Canada with Canadian funds with a Canadian address but yet still charged US funds. Connecting with the company to see how they could help me... Ended with them basically telling me that they would pass this along to better improve the next experience? Not sure how that's helpful to me. I will now be taking my experience to every social media outlet to warn other people.
Before you order products from this company read all of these reviews. Find another company to order from. I would never suggest to order anything from this website to anyone I know.
I bought some herbal medicine which cost me ~$20, and I got them shipped to Canada! I ended up paying ~$18 for duty and taxes. Big Surprise!
