I started a subscription with ID true so that I could check on one person. I only needed a little information about a person who had been killed in an accident and I was helping his wife look for any hidden bank accounts or life insurance information that she didn't know about. As soon as I ran all of the reports I canceled my subscription. Now six months later I happened to see that I'm still being charged. It's my fault for not diligently looking over my credit card charges. But after canceling I have continued to pay $38 a month for the past six months on a service that I have not used.

I am very dissatisfied with this company. I signed up in April, I tried to log in with all of my information, and it was not letting me, so it seems I ended up with two accounts(which I was totally an aware of). I noticed in June $44.95 was taken out of my account 2 times. I called and it was refunded. I have had a lot of things going on with my Venmo account so I figured I would go through all of my charges and see what else I had. It showed that $44.95 was taken out 2 times in May. I called to discuss why $44.95 was taken out 2 times before, and that's when I was told I had 2 accounts. I could not be refunded because they can only go back one month. I used this company maybe for a week or two tops, it didn't have a lot of what I was looking for, so to be charged two times for something that I definitely didn't use more then a few days really is ridiculous. They can clearly see I never used it in May or June, which I can see paying $44.95 because I did not cancel, but to refuse to give me a refund because they can only go back one month is just greed on the company's part. I'm saying save your money it is not with what your paying for even for one month or the $9.95 trial.

Called ID TRUE 5 minutes after signing up. They cancelled the account. If I did not call then there would be a repeating charge on my charge card. This is not noted obviously on the site. Not to mention it does not work. Period. I am a landlord and have used background check sites. This site is a total ripoff.
Sales rep told me I would still be charged a $9.95 ACCOUNT SETUP FEE.
This is outrageous. I suggested it would be good business practice to refund the entire charge and have positive reviews as I was going to call my credit card company to block the charge anyway.
The customer rep told me there was no way to get my money back.
So they ripoff millions this way by reinterpreting the initial charge as a "SETUP CHARGE" when there is a dispute.
And, the site does not work.

Stay clear of these people. They list aliases for people that do not even correspond to the same gender as the person, they charge your card promising you records but do not deliver anything, they will not refund you until you put MULTIPLE blocks on your credit card. There is no way to contact legal, even the supervisor in their "boiler room" sales floor admitted they cannot get answers from *******@idtrue.com (their legal) nor *******@idtrue.com they are 100% fraudulent. REPORT THEM TO THE FTC, IT TAKES 5 MINUTES AND IT CAN SHUT THEM DOWN. Also write to *******@godaddy.com and report them.

Several attempts to cancel my acct, message says "account cancelled". But they keep charging my card

Non-FCRA companies like this one are fake. You're not only paying for less info than what's available on a Google search, but you're paying for WRONG info. These assclowns and all their scumbag buddies have me listed as a 66yo pedo in California and my sister listed as a MAN. I've reported them to the Federal Trade Commission.
