My experience with ID.me fast pace & organized, great service & patience
I was visiting the IRS site for some tax information when I learned they were using ID.me. I was able to do the two-factor identification, take pictures of my driver's license, but when the app tried to video my face, all I got was "Move closer" - "Too close", no matter how slowly and carefully I moved my phone. I finally was able to video chat from my laptop with a human representative who apparently was able to compare my video image to my driver's license photo and verify it was me.
