Trying to get verified with ID.ME for Georgia Labor Dept. Despite providing the documentation as required (passport and DL), I was forwarded to the service. Their forecast time to get an "agent" for a video conference was 4 hours and 44 minutes at 8 PM. When the clock reached 12 minutes to wait, it got stuck and did not change for nearly one hour. So I went to ID.ME site to ask for help and filled out a request for help. This at 2 AM! Minutes later, I received an e-mail saying to click on the button to be verified. Poor me, Instead of being verified, the clock went backwards and showed the wait time to be 2 hours and 50minutes. So that will put me close to 5 AM to get someone to "verify" me.
This looks like a scam agreed with the Georgia Labor department officials to supress the rampant unemployment caused by COVID in a State where the governor was completely irresponsible.
On the other hand, I wonder if there could be a class suit against this company for not providing the necessary service for possibly thousands of people waiting to be "verified".

IDme should be used in all identity verification processes. Once verifying my identity using this method I have been able to breeze through all government platforms. IRS, FAFSA are examples.

WENT BACK TO COX TO GIVE MY CONSENT TO COX TO RECEIVE SHARED INFO. THERE IS NO PLACE TO GIVE CONSENT. RECEIVED EMAIL I WAS VERIFIED AND ANOTHER TELLING ME TO RESUBMIT THE APPLICATION. SO I DID. THIS SYSTEM NEEDS TWEEKING.
I wanted to be able to get to a LIVE video for a LIVE person to be able to view my ID's and confirm its me and confirm my identity. Rather than being able to do that, there are too many hoops to jump through and so I didnt have ANY way to do it as it kept rejecting this idea.
Was fast and easy. I liked how she was nice and was easy for her to verify everything. I haven't been able to look at yet as was changing password so locked out why gave 3stars overall.

Just needed access to certain information in IRS. And I had no experience with doing this before so I'm glad she was able to help me.
Validation of identity was very thorough. That thoroughness slows down the process, and defeats the purpose of id.me whichis to streamline the identification process.
As i said in the survey, I had to upload my driver's license many times, ID.me forgot my cell phone number, and I had to finally resort to personal Zoom meeting.

In April I set ID.me to mail in my income tax forms. However I was unable to accomplish that. I had to find someone with a printer and then mail them to the state and Federal income tax beareau.

It began when ID.me’s CEO and founder Blake Hall, a decorated Army Ranger, watched a military veteran display their DD214 separation paperwork to a store employee to claim a military discount.
