Not sure who these guys are, that's why I gave 4-stars, but otherwise, helped me to get my student discount quickly.
Maybe I will update this review if I am ever able to verify myself with this service, but I wasted over 30 minutes holding still, staring into my phone, while it circled my face with a green line and made me look like a sketch. I had to wait for 5 minutes each time, but each time I got a vague error message and was instructed to try again... until I maxed out my failed attempts and was forced to wait in line for an "agent" to chat with me, which I also have not yet been able to accomplish. The website offers no troubleshooting or help with why the video selfies failed. Their chatbot isn't much help. I tried switching my wifi connection. Maybe I wasn't supposed to move? Holding painfully still for 5 minutes for the third time in a row is a bit enraging. I tried bringing my face closer, then farther- blinking or no blinking? Did it fail because someone in the room asked me a question and I replied? Because I looked away? Turning on more lights didn't help. I have no idea what went wrong, but the ordeal left me pretty upset. Especially when the instructions are so vague and the error messages even moreso.
When you set up your accounting easy to login and always check your status and the payments you need to do and all the information concerns your account.
It took some time but I believe I was able to clarify who I am and hopefully who I am not. I am still awaiting the final results.

I used ID.Me to access my online accounts with VA, and others effortlessly. Once your identity is verified through the process, you do not need to repeat that step on future logins.

It is an easy and effective way to sign everywhere it is available for use. I wish it could be used for every locale that a user id and password is required to get access ti the site. Government (federal, state, and municipal) as well as Private companies.

VA is getting rid of the MyHealtheVet login in January 2025 and allows ID.me as one of the remaining ways to access MyHeV. I've had a ***VERIFIED*** ID.me acct since 2018, but when i tried to use it to log into MyHeV, it wanted me to verify. I submitted photos of driver's license, and did they verify me? No, they suspended my ID.me account. That wouldn't be so bad, but that also suspended my ENTIRE access to the MyHeV site. Even trying to use the MyHeV login credentials I've had and used for YEARS, I was unable to login, and it said my MyHeV account was suspended! That's right: private company ID.me effectively suspended my MyHealtheVet account. I was no longer able to acces sit until ID.me lifted the suspension. That happened on a Friday, so I was unable to cmmunicate with the providers I needed to speak to before the weekend. And since those providers don't work weekends, ID.me made it so I could not get healthcare I needed over the weekend, and now I must wait until Monday. And on top of all that, when they finally verified my ID.me account (which I already had done in 2018), when I used it to log into MyHeV, it isn't even tied to my MyHeV account, and tells me I don't have access to MyHeV because I haven't used and VA health services. Unreal. Luckily I can again log in using the actual MyHealtheVet login, but it is despicable that a private company could suspend my complete access to online VA health services.
