I find this website is a lot easier to use compared to going to or calling the local and fedral offices. There is room for improvemnt, though. Wait time for speaking with a representative can be time consumin. Wait time can definitly increases/decreases dependong on day & time that you call, as well as the purpose of your call.
For the actual website, I'd like to see more documents available to review. For example, if something is sent to me in the mail, I'd like to see that document on the website made available for viewing. If that is already done/available, I did not see or find that feature. Overall, a really good website.

I expected to stop in frustration. But I needed a simple record from the IRS and wondered if I could get an account. It was not only paced and clear, it is easier than my insurance company or bank or health website.

I had no problem setting up id me. Glad I did. Instead of of trying to contact the VA on the phone I can just send a message and state my problem and receive an answer
I use ID.me to access my VA Account, with verification via texted code. It works well. And, in fact I used it jut minutes prior to accessing my SS account without an issue.
I then attempted to access my SS account using ID.me and it forced me to submit a passport photo, and take a selfie just to get ID.me approval to access my SS account.
A ridiculous waste of time when I had just verified my identity through ID.me minutes before that with minimal effort.
I don't know. I think that it's a budget waste. I would have invested in something that can streamline this like face recognition, Clear, pre check.
