I tried to creat an account and kept getting error messages. Virtual assisant no help. No phone number to call for help. In person, with a human, communication has not happened.
I cannot complete creating an ID.me account. I don't know why. I returned to the other open browser tab, per the instructions, it states: "SOMETHING WENT WRONG. We are unable to process your request. We have notified of the problem and will do our best to make sure it doesn't happen again!" I has happened twice. How do I get an account opened?

I ran into a roadblock trying to use LOGIN.gov. I could not get a verification code on my cell phone or use the alternative landline phone. I am not sure why the verification process was so hard to obtain.

VERY FRUSTRATING and questionable security when my initial experience resulted in being told I already had an account when I did not. Impossible to ever reach a person regarding this with multiple email screens that did not allow you to proceed without picking a situation that was not your situation with no "other" as a choice and no one ever respondeed to the emails. THIS IS CLEARLY AN EXPERIENCE TO AVOID

Taking the picture of my id was not possible. I tried several different ways to position my IID and my phone. None of them were acceptable to the system. There are many Veterans who, like me, are older. We have used computer systems for years. However, everything keeps changing. If you want all Veterans to have access to your system you should be taking that into account. We are not dumb, but perhaps out of practice or have not kept up to date. Your new system is not user friendly. It took me two trips to the VA to get access to and that was with help from their staff. This does not include all the time my family and I worked to finally get access.
IDme is the worst thing ever. Bunch of baloney dreamt up by bureaucrats. Waste of time. Privacy invading nonsense. Worst system ever.
Having a video call was so easy and comfortable it took about 30 seconds to truly verify who I was because even with all the other options I didn't have any of them which was upsetting until the video call because they can verify in person without going all the way down to the IRS thank you ID.me
Impeccable I really needed this to help me out with my stimulus check so as soon as possible I would appreciate it if I could get all of this stuff processed the IRS can approve me to send me my checks thank you so very much and God bless you guys
