Once ID. ME is used and we go to Social Security and try to use our original user id and passwords to access our social security account it gives an error. ID ME should not disable our direct login to social security if we decide not to use ID. ME or forget to use it... ID. ME should have a panel menu once signing into ID. It's VERY annoying to do AT ALL, but even worse when it repeatedly doesn't work for unknown reasons. There are unclear instructions, and the feedback (suggested moving to a darker area when instructions said "well-lit area"). There is no interpretable preview image to determine correct lighting or correct angle. It says "live detection" but doesn't suggest whether one should move, stay still, blink, smile, or what? Very annoying overall.
