Some forms could and should have been auto filled being that the government knows everything about me already... If the government is utilizing this service and trusting them with gathering all this information, they should trust them enough to share what they already know about people... Our lives are an endless stream of filling out the same stupid info, even with autofill settings from our end, it is annoying, so the next step should be a presentation of a preview of the data on an individual that matches the supposed individual and a way to verify with less hassle... You know? Like... If nobody has else has claimed to be me, and I am claiming to be me, and Google says I am me, why do I need to prove all over again that I am me? It's frustrating... We need more interoperability between online services, public and private, that want to verify who we are... I know it's a hard problem... But don't we pay the technology people in this country enough to fix this stuff? I suspect it's not so much a problem on the tech end and more of a problem on the legal end... Lawyers being lawyerly about CYA mentality... Preventing entities from sharing data... Perhaps entities should have a trust score system resultant from public opinion and government agency vetting, that allows varying degrees of access to people's information that will mitigate this issue of constantly filling out the same stuff... Thanks for your time if you actually read this and got it to someone who could do something, anything, to put even a pebble on the people's side of the scale...
