As for me it was hard because I'm not a genius When it comes to technology I'm very much old school 🏫 but there were times when you can use common sense to get it right 👍. But my best friend to making this happen really easy was the real person that assist me in video call thank God for her and she was very respectful with a Godly Spirit that made me feel Greatly appreciative for all the hard work I did to get to that point Thank God! He Knows What We Need!
Suspended both my and my wife's accounts at the beginning of tax season. No reason given. When I contacted them, the only thing they said (two weeks later) was: "After a thorough[sic] investigation, we have determined that your ID.me account will remain suspended to protect your identity." What! That's it? We had done the face verification, everything! How ridiculous!

For a government website, I am completely taken aback and impressed at the quality of it. Overall, easy to use with little room for confusion. In the past, even as a person who is currently in their early 20's and who grew up with technology, I've experienced difficulty navigating and creating an account/logging into government websites. This is straight to the point, and functional!
Fast! Not waiting an irritatingly amount of time to verify your identity. Your information is safe and they work securely to get you through ASAP. The upload options are so clear and easy to do even if you aren't very Technologically smart. I needed my information from the IRS in an unexpected hurry and ID.me was extremely helpful getting me to securely find the information I needed also while knowing I'm secured in privacy.
My experience was exceedingly great; the persistence with which it kept trying to get me to complete the process was admirable; any other program should have, would have, given up. My procrastination was really unacceptable, but you kept trying, day after negligent day, almost like a computer, and not a person was trying to get, help, and patiently encourage me to complete the process. Amazing. Please give a special award to the people that built this program. They deserve recogntion.
I am so happy the Social Security Administration has added this powerful technology to protect my personal information! It's so easy to use and powerful! I am really impressed with the technology and implementation of this technology. ID.me has made this process super simple and effective. I am just a client of SSA and been using ID.me to log in for awhile now. The addition of facial recognition makes me feel even more secure.
First, calm down. Entering the process bent- outta - shape may lead to more frustration. Read the instructions carefully. Something has gone wrong with your tax return and you can not fix it unless you follow the directions carefully. Be sure to submit the exact documents being requested. Submitting incorrect documents delays the process. Have confidence in the irs representative's expertise.

From the first link I clicked to verify my identity the process was easy to understand as well as efficient and strait forward. Your wait time for a video referee is constantly adjusted to give you an up to date estimate that was accurate. The live video referee was concise and to the point while staying polite and friendly. Besides the long wait time the entire experience was quick and I had no trouble executing each step in the process. I feel very strongly that my data is secure.

My experience with IDme seem a better difficult at first but now that I spoke with an agent and got my 6 digit code to access it everything when smooth.
I know now I need to stay in touch with ID me in the future because u never know what this world could find ur information on the dark net and u could lose everything u own.

When you're trying to identify yourself to an official agency sometimes it is very very frustrating no matter how many documents you send in no matter what verification you can tell them over the phone they still will give you a difficult time with id.me it's a matter of just a few clicks and it's done without having to reveal very sensitive private information
I had no choice but to use ID.me in order to communicate with the IRS. Otherwise I would not have registered with them. At times, the process of providing information was confusing, and the error message I received when I didn't do it right was totally unhelpful. It just left me hanging in space, staying I could "try again" in some undefined number of minutes. For all of the supposed sophisticated of their system, the execution is kind of bush league.
Looks like the news is true that ID.me has improved in significant ways. On the night before the annual tax deadline, the time I often spend dreading a login through ID.me was reduced from about 10 to under 5 minutes.

Convenient tool for identification verification. Very easy to follow instructions. Also, the agent I had was extremely helpful, professional, and very nice.

I found the registration with ID.me easy, but have several staff that were challenged by the process as they are not tech savvy. One doesn't even have a smart phone! Another has a smartphone but doesn't know how to do much other than text/call. I would definitely recommend mentioning the need to relax privacy/location settings for this registration to work as well provide for more readily available registration options that do not require mobile devices.
ID.me allowed me to self-service my needs quickly, and was done through a very intuitive UI (user interface). The only feedback I would suggest is providing a screenshot example of the video users will experience so they know what to expect. The instructions imply the user would have to do some sort of video narration when it really validates your facial features.
The aid me is so simple and easy process to enrolled and do the good things in Id.me.
I am glad this application takes no longer than 3 minutes with minimal questions.

Failed to work on 2 separate types of devices, 2 operating systems and 3 different browsers. I finally found a combination where it would work and hope I never to deal with this company again. This is clearly pre-alpha grade garbage that needed far more testing. I'm slightly pissed they are getting tax dollars for this.
I'm very satisfied with the I'd Me support team, I couldn't access my account, RSA Needed to be reset and there was not a phone number to call felt a bit loss but they got back to my emails & Michael the analyst kept me updated, TRUST THE PROCESS, Thank you for keeping my account and information secured. My only suggestion would be to add a helpdesk line for those who are not tech savvy.
Everything was smooth and easy from beginning to end (sign up, document upload, waiting period, video call, and final steps). They even sent me thinking-of-you emails to let me know they hadn't forgot about me and why the waiting period for my live video call with their agent was taking longer than they anticipated. The agent was patient, understanding, and flexible while I struggled with minor technical difficulties with the background (don't blur it!).
Very disappointing I thought that I would accomplish my tax ID number but I didn't. The process was very disappointing because I put in my personal information but I did not get anything back from it. It was a waste of time actually once you do the process you still don't get your information that you're looking for so it's a waste of time, I'm gonna go into the IRS office and see if they can help me in person. I'd.me is a security measure that purports to make signing in easy but safe. It requires information authenticating the identity of person signing in. Basic info is pretty straightforward. MFA is the tricky one. Online users are expected to be literate with internet jargon like downloading vs uploading, selfie, and the like. The instructions on uploading document is not that clear to me. I happen to luck out on guessing what I'm asked to do. Maybe you will be as lucky.
