I love the Ibotta app. A friend recommended it and I thought well I will try it not thinking I'd get much back but I was so wrong. I've only been using it for about two months and I've already got back over $50. I was so surprised at all the stores you can shop at and use the Ibotta app with and the variety of online shopping sites you can use it with, it's awesome. I try hard to save money and this app really helps and it's so easy to use just add your items before you shop and you get the money back so easy. Sometimes the Ibotta app will notify you of items you missed and it's so easy to add those to your cash back and there are bonuses you get too as much as $5 at a time. I love the Ibotta app and I'm so thankful my friend told me about it. I've been telling my friends and family too. 😍
Been with Ibotta for many years, ups and downs when it comes to offers and redeeming them. Sometimes very fluid, other times you have to jump through hoops, but generally positive.
My gripe though is that Ibotta sent me an email congratulating me at hitting a certain level and that they will be reaching out to me within 30 days to give me a bonus. Well...they ghosted me...poof...nothing.
I have been an Ibotta member for a long time. The user experience has gotten worse and worse. Savings selected by clicking the item does not show up on the Walmart page, so you have to go into every single deal to see what you have or have not selected. I recently completed an earnings challenge. None of my Glade automatic spray refills or Florida watermelon counted. There is no longer a way to request a human review your submission right away, and contacting customer service to look into it is a pain. The savings are generally good, but all the extra time it is taking to use the app because of glitches and clearly eligible items not counting makes me less likely to bother with it. Time is money and you've started wasting mine.

Every month I have to contact customer service to give you offers I have completed cuz you don't seem to get them.
I made 2 purchases with a total of 18 offers. I did not receive credit for 1 of the offers. I submitted a ticket for the missing item. I received credit for that item but it didn't count towards the bonus. I submitted a ticket for that and had to keep sending emails back and forth with screenshots of all the offers. Still never got that bonus from customer service so had to make another purchase in order for the bonus to credit.
I had a great experience after having to write in regarding my offers that didn't process correctly. After writing in the matter was resolved in minutes
Frustrating as have made purchases that should have been credited (tried to get "help" online and Carlotta asks you the same obvious questions, that any intelligent person would have already verified, over and over in a loop. There is no way to speak to a human. Sent photo documentation via FB still only got one of 4 products credited. Essentially no customer service or ability to communicate with Ibotta and it is a business that needs to communicate to be effective or they come across as dishonest.

I have been an Ibotta user for the better part of ten years or more. I love this app and live by it! They have the greatest coupons generally higher than others, spectacular bonuses, and options to get my money back before you know it. Paypal, linked bank account, gift cards are literally just to name a few of the choices. The referral bonuses and Holidays special warm my very soul! I love this the Ibotta App!

I purchased Glade twin candles on 7/12. Submitted receipt on 7/18. Thats 6 days and I did not receive credit for my puchase. Then I get email stating purchase had to be within 7 days and I was 6 days. Then I was told I would get credit but no credit. I emailed by several people who made it seem as if I didnt know what i was doing. Been using iBotta fot 7 years and not happy.
It took 2 tries, as I was told not a match in the app, but an email to the team worked! They fixed it and awarded the cash back and added the barcode for future buyers.
For some reason, I got locked out of my account and I had cash that I could transfer. I tried to get in. It made me open up a new account I contacted support and the next day everything was back to normal. I have saved almost $1400 shopping with Ibotta
Still having problems getting my cash back as you tell me some of my purchase does not match yet I scan the bar code before I purchase it and it matches
I missed an offer on an item. I saw the offer in the app but failed to select it. It was totally my oversight. I didn't realize until after I had already submitted a missing offer report on something else. Only one missing offer report can be filled per receipt. Again, my oversight. I reached out to customer service to see if they could help me. Not only did they credit the missing offer, they responded within the hour and explained exactly what went wrong. Excellent and fast service!
Was wondering when I would receive cash back from hotels.com, my stay occured in April! Instantly got an email that they had received my concern, very quickly got another email they were looking into the problem, then of Course, within a day my answer! Money is coming, but could be a while due to the provider! They are great! Love love love this app!
Had issues with my item not being identified. After chatting with customer service the issue was straightened out. I wasn't ghosted or promised with something that was never given!
When I entered my receipt it shows I purchased 2 of the item. Should have gotten $2.00 back., but only got $1.00. Even said when I did it that I got back $2.00

Took a few days. But got the missing cash back.
My Ibotta app was having trouble loading. Bill, the customer service rep, was very helpful, giving me specific steps to follow. While these steps were not the answer, Bill's suggestion to check my internet connection and speed was spot-on. Once my internet was restarted, the Ibotta app worked well.
I love Ibotta! It is so easy to use and the cash back is a big help. They even told me when i didn't get any cash back on something i bought. Great customer service

My favorite rebate app! I've been using it for the past few years and I love it. :) The submission process is super easy and the customer service is always helpful if there's any issues (which is pretty rare!)
Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?

Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
