The company enjoys a generally positive reputation among users who appreciate its ease of use and significant savings potential. Many customers commend the prompt and effective customer service, highlighting the team's responsiveness in resolving issues related to cash back discrepancies. However, recurring concerns include frustrations over payout limits, inaccuracies in rebate credits, and a perceived lack of variety in eligible products, particularly for budget-conscious shoppers. Ibotta used to be great. They promptly gave you cash back, and customer service was top-notch. I've had seven issues with them not crediting me for offers and bonuses in the past month. To make it worse, some of the issues I've had have gone on for nearly two weeks. I have one that has been going on for 10 days. Customer service does not look into the history of a matter and requests the same information over and over and over... Something has changed in their company. A number of complaints on the BBB and elsewhere attest to this.
I like this app because it has a wide range of vital stuck to shop for Answer my stuff that not all sites
I have just joined, been very exciting to see the money grow. There was a few challenges but have figured it out.
Really love the app! They make getting cash back easy and their customer service is prompt whenever I have an issue with a product I purchased that I didn't get a credit for. I highly recommend!
Beginning to learn about it is a little bit confusing I still haven't received credit for some of the things that I have bought that was within the things that I had checked off and I don't understand because it said any brand of that product which is the Downy smell beads and I lost $3 cash back over this deal which was upsetting but I guess you lose some and you periodically have a chance of winning so it has been the experience that I'm taking so far I'm still learning I'm not going to call it quits just yet I'm going to continue to try to navigate and learn more to make my experience more pleasant and rewarding for my shopping experiences.
Love this app honestly! Love it because when I unlock the min. For gift cards, it's a quick way to get what you want for the kiddos and family!
Easy cash back and fun to use. Love the deals you get not to mention the gift card selection and being simple to get them is phenomenal! All around great!
They have no number to call customer service. They jip you off money after 150.00. They take 2 days to message you back and ask you to take pictures of stuff in your fridge when you have the receipt.
I love this app so much. At first I thought it was a scam but after a friend showed me how real it is. I rate it 10 out of 10
The program is easy to use, everything is simple! You can scan each ticket and see if it passes! You can also save up to 10% on online orders if you order through Ibotta! There are various challenges, bonuses for recommending friends! It's convenient that you can link the account of my favorite stores and it does everything automatically! I am 100% satisfied with the program and I will advertise it to my friends and acquaintances!
Years ago when I had my first child I really needed extra cash. I tried all the "cash back" kind of apps. I would have 5 or so going all at once, trying to get any savings I could. After 7 years, ibotta is the only one that has stuck. I'm by far not the biggest user, I only use the offers on things/ brands I already intended to buy, but I still get $100-200 back in a year. I tend to use it as my own little personal spending account, or to help out at Christmas. I highly recommend ibotta.
Whenever I go shopping I make sure to check the ibotta app to see what deals they have on the items or sites I am buying off. I love to save money!
I recently signed up for Ibotta. I spent time looking for deals at different stores that matched up with the ibotta app. I referred a girl I work with and also got my husband signed up for it. I had earned $30. Then I get an email stating that I violated the terms of the app and that my account was suspended. No other explanation. I emailed them two different times and received no response. So, I started a case with the BBB. They finally emailed me back and stated that I had opened up two accounts for the same person. This was not accurate. I had opened up an account on my phone with my email and my phone number. My husband opened an account with his email, phone, phone number and name. No where have I seen that it is limited to one person per household. I emailed them back and informed them that they are mistaken, one account is my husbands and the other is mine. My daughter had opened an account and they locked her account as well. So by this time, my account was locked, my husbands account was locked and my daughters account was locked. This made no sense. Especially since my daughter had nothing to do with the accusations they were making. I decided to have my son open an account to see if he was able to and it wouldn't even allow him to open one. When he went to verify his phone number, it wouldn't send a verification code. Here we are again, he has his own phone, email address and phone number, but he is locked out. I did a bunch of research and have seen that many people have had this issue with his app. They just close your account without verifying any information or asking any questions. I have even seen where several people take their earnings out as soon as they possibly can because they are scared that ibotta will close their account and they will lose their earnings. I would recommend no one waste their time with this app. It might have been good at one point in time but now they are closing accounts with no explanation or justified reason and keeping the earnings. Seems like a scam to me!
After 6 or 7 months I am averaging around $100 a month. I choose to shop in store and submit receipts for redemption via taking pictures of the receipt with the in app tool, except Walmart I just scan the bar code at the bottom of the receipt that I am redeeming. Out of the 50 or so receipts I have submitted I have had 3 issues where I hurried the picture taking and submitted either blurry or poorly lit pictures. Typically if there system didn't recognize one or two of the offers I just retake the pictures and submit them again. The few time that I have had to interact with there customer care the issues has always been resolved with the appropriate outcome.
Always great coupons and deals. So easy to use and can always find what I need. Having a big family and Ibotta is great
I totally enjoy using Ibotta to get cash back on items I already buy. You should try it. It's Fabulous.
Ibotta use to be great. They always had bonuses for doing so many offers, now you're lucky if you even get a bonus. The offers almost always reset. But now they do not reset. I don't know what's going on with ibotta. But they ain't like they use to be
The app is pretty good but the customer service is horrible! I've sent I don't know how many emails to customer service with a question and the answers have nothing to do with my questions! They need to have a phone number to speak with someone!
Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?
Answer: Because they deny certain purchases due to cost! It's become a scam!
Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
Answer: Sorry Jenna bit it seems like you're kinda late for that rebate a few years actually. I'm pretty sure that ibotta have 100% absolutely forgot about you and by not I'm sure you forgot about too. :)
Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
