The company enjoys a generally positive reputation among users who appreciate its ease of use and significant savings potential. Many customers commend the prompt and effective customer service, highlighting the team's responsiveness in resolving issues related to cash back discrepancies. However, recurring concerns include frustrations over payout limits, inaccuracies in rebate credits, and a perceived lack of variety in eligible products, particularly for budget-conscious shoppers. Overall, while the app is valued for its savings, improvements in product offerings and payout reliability could enhance customer satisfaction further.

You receive big savings by buying what you would normally buy! So easy to use! If you ever have a question- their customer support group is timely, friendly and very supportive!
I reached out regarding missing cash back on an online Walmart order. I was surprised how fast the team reached out and resolved the missing offer quickly and efficiently. Thank you
I love Ibotta. Their site is very easy to use. You can go back-and-forth between your checked off Ibotta items and the store you're shopping in. There are a lot of unconventional items in any particular store that you can choose from.
I had to contact customer service for missing credit. They explained to me why it was missing (it was my error) After submitting a few other things, although they didn't need to (because like I said, my fault) they did issue my the money my offer was valid for. They instructed me on how to submit for online pick up orders so I can get proper credit in the future.
I've been using Ibotta for a few years now and overall it's been really good. I do think they could have more options as lifestyle changes. I've changed my diet as I've gotten older and there are not always a lot of items in the produce section or frozen fruit and vegetables that can be redeemed. Ibotta sent out an email/article not too long ago about inflation and how it affects shopping but they have not changed the redemption amount on some of the more expensive items. I wish that would improve.
I'm lucky to find 1 rebate I can use. Most is for stuff that's extremely expensive,or never heard of. Need more rebates for milk, bread. Riskiest or cat/dog chow. Toiletries, ect.
So easy to use at Walmart, cvs and target and the another stores.
Love how this works since I think I have it figured out.
Hi Barbara! We’re thrilled to hear about your positive experience! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback
I always buy two herbal essence shampoo for the six dollar credit for my body. I would match the barcode in the store to make sure before I purchase and every time I buy it I bought it gives me a hard time staining it's not correct or it doesn't match but it does and I have to email over and over and over. I even take pictures to prove it and they still come back at me saying. It's not correct then they finally credit my account but it's not right.
The cashnack offers are oftentimes worded or presented in such a way as to be somewhat vague in regards to which store will honor the item for bonus cash and/or regular cashback. Due to this confusion I personally have ended up missing out on making bonuses a couple times (and I'm talking about after having bought 13 of 17 not so cheap products) and then again purchasing items I would receive $5 back on for every 2 that I bought (and I bought at least 8 of them, each costing me $5.99, so you know, being a single mother surviving on a fixed income from SSDI benefits that actually adds up to a significant rebate to lose out on. And no, I am not mentally slow, I have two degrees from an Ivy League University so I'm fairly certain I'm not a total dullard. I think, perhaps, your promo writers could be a bit more specific or clear or maybe you should decrease all the extraneous rules, they are sometimes a bit much. Or make it less confusing. For instance, if you can only earn bonus cash and cash back on jimmy dean and tyson from sams club then why does it come up a million times while I'm shopping at both Walmart and Albertsons, it is very misleading. And why advertise Reese ice cream cones as a bonus at Walmart when they only sell the ice cream in the gallon? Again not cool. Same with the Gluten free Digiorno pizza. Bonus and cashback ads all day long but product, nope. In fact, getting the 10 bonus products was tricky but I thought I succeeded when I got 8 chickens and cereals...yet, nope. Totally a waste pf my time. Even when I did manage to get $50 in cashback (after spending over near $400) I wasn't even allowed to put it to my Paypal or bank but instead had to buy a giftcard. That's really rather Third Reich of you, isn't it? Must say, I heard good things about Ibotta but my experience has bern quite the opposite.
It's an easy app and a wonderful way to ear cash buying the products you like or a good way to try a new prosuct
I love the deals that I find and if I've ever had any issues, the customer service has been exceptional and extremely helpful.
Love being able to get cash back on items I purchase. Also tempts me to try new items. Thank you!
Always wonderful, hardly any issue. Great
Thank you
I pick out items I want to buy or will buy in the near future. I shop and get money for that, I link my stores to Ibotta and no hassle.
Most if the time I feel like it's hard to contact help without going through things that may not pertain to my situation.
I have earned a good amount of cash back, so I will continue to use.
The app is not difficult to work and the customer service (when i needed it) is good. When I first signed up I was getting a total of approximately $20 per month. This time it has taken me 3 months to get to $19.50 (still shy of $20 as I enter month 4). My shopping habits haven't changed. Being a little un-trusting - I think the algorithm is holding back on cash backs they know I like. They are trying to force me to try a product they're pushing. I don't appreciate that.
Had to resubmit receipt twice & rescan items several times. Very time consuming & annoying, especially when I have to get the items out of the cabinet and return them back after scanning.
Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?
Answer: Because they deny certain purchases due to cost! It's become a scam!
Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
Answer: Sorry Jenna bit it seems like you're kinda late for that rebate a few years actually. I'm pretty sure that ibotta have 100% absolutely forgot about you and by not I'm sure you forgot about too. :)
Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
