Booked a cleaner and heard nothing. The day prior to the booked clean I followed up and asked to confirm arrival time as I had a virtual meeting. I also specified if the cleaner could not arrive before my meeting time I needed to re-schedule ( this was within the required time to do so). It was ignored. I heard the following day from the appointed cleaner and she could not arrive before my meeting and she had not been told I would need to re-schedule in this case. Housekeep denied receiving my message for 3 weeks and then found it on their system. Despite this they are trying to charge me for the clean and are bombarding me with threatening e-mails and texts in the middle of the night.
Absolutely dreadful service. Cleaners provided were rude and belligerent, and, when asked why they'd jammed a door on leaving, began shouting "Not my problem, we not pay".
The lounge carpet was so poorly cleaned that I had to return and clean it myself with carpet shampoo. And, despite the fact it was an end-of-tenancy clean at a cost of £390, the organisers refused to provide any form of compensation.
Avoid this, they are rude, unkind and provide an awful service.
Hired them for an "End of a Tenancy" clean. They charged me £200 (2 cleaners came for 6 hours - approx £33/hour - and did an absolutely abysmal job - see the pictures). Their normal charge is £35 for 2 hours for a "clean" for one cleaner. They argued that End of Tenancy is a "special clean" - Rubbish! They charged me double for half the job and when I sent them the pictures (some below) - they said they tried to ring me. And as painters were coming the following day - I had to do it all again myself with my son. They offered me a £25 discount - what a joke. I would advise against using this company.
Housekeep is a bad company with no service - meaning no good cleaner. Forget about ANY customer service. On top of that they dont refund your money - cleaners are not good and then also no refund. They over charge you which is issue at their end but still no refund will be given. They say it goes to your housekeep account. If you dont have good cleaner why would I book another cleaning with you. I had to give 1 star only because then it lets you write the review other wise not worth 1 star. Stay away and save your money. Highly overpriced too.
I am company in Las Vegas, NV trying to hire cleaners. I paid for 3 months a head and they cancel my account less than a month in because i was recruiting too often. I ask for a refund and i have not heard from them at all. I would not recommend anyone going here to recruit because they will take your money and cancel your account.
Unfortunately this did not happen. We booked an end of tenancy clean but there was a miscommunication and so we had to find another service provider. However, Housekeep kindly provided a full refund. Appreciate your assistance, Josef and Rachel.
Never Use there service because they just platform to Book Maid Service and all Maids not own by this company. I made many time Booking there website and mark time specific time as per there system but maid not come on time every time receive some excuse. Today I receive call from Cleaner she told I can come 11:00 AM and I book for 1:00 PM. I told her not possible because this time no one home than I receive call from company and they told we cancel your booking because your Housekeeper accident totally lie because within 1 minute early I talk her. I suggest you people don't trust this company and Not book though this company if you really want cleaning.
This does not exist. There are in Canada. These clients are not real. They are Frauds! They will get the information from you with your credit card or debit card. There is no clients whatsoever. Stay away from this company. They're under review my bank shut them down right away. There is no housekeeping jobs. They are a fraud, even when we find out when people did finally reach out, they were never put on the site. They were wondering why we were asking for house cleaning they are scamless Canadians fraud read the rest the reviews there is no housekeeping jobs. This is scamless they put your face out there and for predators.
Do not use this company ever. I arranged for a cleaner using the app and on the day 2 cleaners arrived I assumed sent by Housekeep (one male one female). The female cleaner sprayed Viakal on my stainless steel Samsung fridge and took the surface off - leaving the fridge door looking a mess. I was told by the male cleaner that the female cleaner was not even meant to be there and not to report the damage. I reported the damage once I'd spoken to Samsung and found out the repairs would likely be in excess of £700.
Housekeep have taken a week to let me know that there's nothing they're prepared to do except give me a £300
Credit on my account. I have no intention Of ever using them again so said I expected them to pay Samsung for the damage. They are not interested in resolving and take zero responsibility. Unprofessional untrustworthy untrained con artists. I now have to consult lawyer and start a claim. Stressful and unnecsssary.
The worst experience - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I have had three no shows from them now. Each time I've been sitting around waiting for the cleaner to turn up and each time being let down and had my time wasted. I was told that the most recent no show was because they simply decided to cancel all my cleans without letting me know simply because I used their 'pause' function whilst I was away for the summer. The customer service was completely unapologetic and couldn't really care less, no compensation or support was offered they just told me that I should go back online and book new cleans. Really don't recommend as they just let you down and mess you around without caring.
Cleaner damaged our brand new carpet, lied about it, and the company refuses to take responsibility. A disgrace.

Cleaned for about fifteen minutes having paid for a three hour clean. Caught the cleaner sitting on my bed texting. Watched on cctv that they leaved two hours early.
Love coming home to a sparkling house. Our housekeeper has become a part of the family and we look forward to her visits every week. Very impressed with Housekeep's customer service as well which provides quick and helpful solutions.
Be VERY wary of the many 5-star reviews on here and Google etc. They are all without commentary and suspiciously all posted very recently showing this company is clearly paying people to post positive reviews. In some cases it's the cleaners themselves saying what a great place to work…not surprising when you realise they get paid for doing nothing.
If you read the otherwise mostly 1-star reviews you will find this company should be avoided: unable to provide regular cleaners, the scheduled cleaners never turning up or cancel at last minute, appalling cleaning standards (either not cleaning at all or actually breaking and damaging goods), non-existent customer service.
Unbelievable that they are still in existence. They hook customers with a professional website and top Google rankings yet are unable to provide a single cleaner that can actually clean without breaking or stealing it seems.
I could publish a book with all the customer emails apologising for poor cleaning or no cleaning at all! Cleaners are variably unreliable, bad at their job, unable to follow simple instructions. Items of small value have disappeared. Housekeep is unable to provide consistent service even after I went out of my way to hold on to the one cleaner who did a halfway decent job. She then failed to turn up twice in a row.
DO NOT USE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE EXPECTING GUESTS AND REALLY NEED A CLEANER. They have cancelled me twice, both in the last minute while I have made plans for the day. When I asked to reschedule they keep asking what's the latest time I can do. Is it so difficult to understand that people simply haven't got all the time to wait for a service that may or may not happen?
While I am not surprised to see that reviews for this company are already low, I am surprised people are not complaining that much about how difficult it is to actually get rid of their services.
I am currently trying to cancel my plan for having a clean in my house every two weeks - turns out it is absolutely impossible to do so, there is NOTHING on the website that allows you to cancel your cleans smoothly.
You can only choose options to have a clean in a new address or cancel your cleans one by one.
If you want to fully end your plan, which I am trying to do as I am now out of the country, what you have to do instead is CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE, which of course is never available and never picks up the phone...
This company is an absolute SCAM, please avoid using their services. Any other company that works on a subscription basis has a specific section on its website to enable customers to cancel their regular services.
I booked HK to clean my dead dad's house so I could then book removal services & estate agents, now all setup from tomorrow.
This morning HOUSEKEEP cancelled the morning of the clean, no replacement. Now I'm in a worse position as I have cancel everything and try and reschedule and I have to fly back to Australia next week.

Cleaners did a decent job but the customer service for the company is a nightmare to deal with. Would recommend finding a good cleaner who you can communicate with directly.
Worst experience ever. This company is unable to deliver the service they advertise online. Their cleaners are no-show. Here is the drill: you book a visit several days before, they confirm via email, then two hours before the visit, you receive an email such as "The cleaner is unable to work", or "The cleaner is feeling unwell". No prior warning. No cover sent. No alternative provided. Wants to hear a fun fact? Even the replacement visit I booked after the initial cancellation WAS CANCELLED! It took me 5 weeks (resulting in 3 cancellations out of 5 bookings) to realize this wasn't going to work out. Conclusion? Avoid this company at all cost. Service is about average when they actually show up. Mediocre customer service. Don't lose your time and energy.
