I was the victim of a fraudulent transaction last year and I am still feeling the harsh repercussions of it. My card registered for automatic payment with HostGator was replaced. I tried to cover everything the card had on auto payment, however I had not remembered my HostGator account. I just found out everything is gone. It was deleted on 2/28/2022. I found this out through customer service yesterday. I never received 1 notification of failure of payment by email or mail. I would like to think there are systems in place when something like this transpires. The customer service rep worked with me yesterday to try to restore my website and "escalated" the issue. I was told it would be back up within 24 hours and I would receive email communication. I have not received anything and the website is still down. Someone, please contact me on this issue. Some minor issues when transferring a domain. It appears to be working but the screen in the portal show pending awaiting my action. Helpdesk was able to help and tell me that the transfer is in progress and all is fine now.
