Do Not Use

24 hours after ordering a floral delivery, my mother still doesn't have the flowers I paid for. The customer service rep was rude and kept trying to blame me for the the mix-up with the hospital address that came up on their website (two hospitals in the same city - how should I know this when I live over a thousand miles away?). Obviously their top priority is taking your money, not helping you brighten someone's day (as their slogan states).

We always strive to clearly communicate our "same day" delivery policy to all our customers, but it seems that in this case, we were unsuccessful, please accept our apologies on any confusion for that. For any of our same day delivery items, they must be ordered before 1 pm in the recipient's time zone in order to arrive on that same day. Since your order was placed after 1 pm it was scheduled for delivery today. On our website, the delivery calendar does change to a different color and does notify that the order has arrived past the cut off for same delivery. On our website when choosing the specific hospital it does give the option to select which campus you would like the order to go to. We understand the importance of getting your well wishes to your recipient and do believe that this does help the overall healing process for your recipient. Our apologies again for any frustration or confusion regarding your order. Call a local florist or actual hospital gift shop

They pose as being an efficient way to send flowers to your loved one in the hospital. They are a scam. Ordered for delivery at 7am and it is 5 pm. No confirmation that the flowers were delivered. No idea what the actual flowers look like. You will experience very long wait time holding for their customer service representative. Save yourself the trouble and just order directly from a local florist or the actual hospital gift shop. This company should not exist because they cause more harm than good.

I was a bit worried after reading so many negative reviews but decided to give it a try anyway since we live about 4 hours away from our 4 year old nephew and really wanted to make him feel better. I ordered a stuffed animal and rainbow balloon bouquet at about 7pm. The stuffed animal got there the following morning and the balloons arrived at about 5 pm. They were from two different vendors apparently. Anyhow it was nice that they were able to be delivered to his room. I'm very happy with the service.

This company is a SHAM! Please do not use them. I ordered flowers for my uncle on Friday 9/24 for same day delivery (had my order in by 11:39am). It is now TUESDAY, and my uncle has yet to receive the flowers. I have gotten excuse after excuse on why they have not been delivered. Please save yourself the trouble and find another flower vendor. I will be disputing this charge on my CC - what a mess! So nice to deal with this while worried about a loved one in the hospital.

- I was initially contacted because my order had been overlooked and not delivered on the day requested. That was actually fine with me; my friend will be in the hospital for three weeks. I told an 'upgraded' arrangement would be delivered the next day.

- An arrangement was delivered the next day, but I would hardly consider it an upgrade -- MUCH cheaper flowers were used than shown on the website, and the arrangement didn't even look very professional. I was very disappointed.

Ripoff

Ordered flowers for next day delivery. Supposed to be delivered by 1 pm. Called at 245pm because still not there. They said sometime between 1 and 6 pm. That day and night still no flowers. Next day - nothing. Called and emailed repeatedly and after twice they stopped answering my emails. Never answered my calls. Disputed through credit card company and they finally refunded my $75. Yes. Lowest price came to $75 with all of the extra charges. I'm on a fixed income so it was more than I should have been spending. Went to local florist and they handled it beautifully for less. On Mother's day weekend, so a busy time for them. Save yourself money and frustration and order from a flower shop local to the hospital you are sending to. This place is a complete ripoff.

I ordered same day service. They said they delivered but they were not. We checked every desk at the hospital. Nothing. Customer service doesn't pick up the phone or respond to emails. The person has since gone home from the hosptal and i still have $98 Charge on my Paypal. Now I have to deal with a lengthy dispute process expected to resolve a month from now. All because I wanted to send a comforting gift to a loved one with cancer. This company is despicable and deceptive. Please do yourself a favor and call a local florist yourself.

Excellent

I willing be using this website every time I need flowers delivered! This transaction was so easy. I ordered the flowers after 4:30 pm so they came the next day. The flowers were great quality! Beautiful arrangement! Just as described! The only thing I would change is a way to find out if your order is delivered. It was hard calling my mother in law repeatedly since they were a surprise. Thank you so much for the great service! You made not only her day, but ours too!

This website offers a service, flower delivery to hospitals, as its niche. Unfortunately, it failed to deliver on schedule as promised plus upon follow up with its customer service representatives, outright lying about why they failed to make delivery.

Avoid this site and order directly through FTD or 800-Flowers or other reputable florist services.

THE WORST
May 31, 2018

My daughter was in the hospital for surgery. I order flowers and spent a lot of money at 6:30 am with guaranteed delivery the same day. They never showed up. When I called the customer service, they had no explanation why it was not sent. I did have a confirmation email and all. They said it was too late to still deliver. They were rude, unapologetic, and did not seem to care at all. I will never use them again.

Just say no!

Terrible service! Cannot rely on them for same day delivery. I got an email confirmation that my order was going to be delivered on the same day. However, after receiving no subsequent delivery confirmation, I followed up the next day only to learn that the order had not even been sent out...
It is not so much the failure to provide timely service, but the deceit involved. Clearly, had I known they were not going to be able to provide same day delivery, I would have gone somewhere else.

Beautiful Flowers

Order #1 was for a hospital patient. They promptly informed me that the delivery would be delayed since the patient was in a room where plants are not allowed. Visiting the patient after a room transfer, I saw the flowers/vase - identical to the picture on their web site.
Order #2 was for my mother's birthday. I didn't see those flowers, but they were delivered to the house on (or before) her birthday, and she loved them.

Nothing got delivered

I ordered two gifts for my daughter in law, after she gave birth. The first email I recieved said, "It could not be delivered to the hospital and requested her home address. Hold up, wait one darn minute? The business is called "HospitalGiftShop"... anyone can deliver at come right? Today while on the phone with customer service I found an email stating that all of my money was refunded. One star "Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!

I ordered flowers that were supposed to have a mylar balloon saying "its a girl" as well as chocolates as an extra add on. The site said same day delivery and I ordered before 10 am. The flowers without balloon and chocolates were delivered after 10 pm to an exhausted new father and mother who did not get to enjoy them during the day and were discharged the following morning. So much for the special moment it was supposed to be. Next time I will call an existing flower shop near the hospital.

Although the flowers arrived on time, they are very small compared to what is shown in the display photo and arrive in a much cheaper vase than shown. If you would like to avoid embarrassment, avoid hospitalgiftshop.com.

Not a legit business

Ordered a same day delivery gift online but it is now the 3rd day and there is no sight of the gift. They claimed the hospital indicating that the patient is in ICU can't receive the gift which is not true.

No one answers the phone either, only a 'ticketing' system for all your correspondence. Never use this service!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I would not have had the opportunity to find out how great their customer service is if there hadn't been a problem. Their rep delivered the flowers I ordered for a very sick friend and within a day they had basically died. When I called at first the rep didn't know what to do, but she went above and beyond to get replacement flowers delivered to my friend, who is far away from me, the same day. The flowers were great but the rep going out of her way to get those flowers out made the difference. My friend has passed on now, but I won't forget how responsive they were in making his day with a fresh bouquet. Thanks.

I was impressed with the hands-on customer service care that I received. Each email was a considerate response from a real person - not an automated reply. The company followed up to make sure that the flowers I ordered were received as expected. I am actually pleased to have this opportunity to give an online review for HospitalGiftShop because I feel they have a great work ethic and I wish them the best in all their future endeavors!

Horrible

Don't order from this place! You will not get what you pay for! I ordered, It's a Girl Balloon Bouquet. The pic is what I got. I complained, was told it would be rectified with a new delivery of what I paid for. It never happened. I will never order from this place again.

Absolute Trash Service

They use bait & switch tactics to sell you gifts that are not even available then try charging you a fee to cancel the order! Disgusting, unethical company. Use another service, do NOT use this one.
