Hirt's Gardens

I ordered four plants to help clean my indoor air since my allergies have been acting up. I was unsure how the plants would come since they're being shipped over several days. All 4 plants were in PERFECT condition and separately wrapped. So satisfied!

I have bought Hirt's products for more than 2 years (via Amazon, Walmart or directly from Hirt's). They always packed extremely well in a box. I recently purchased 'Yellow Dancing Lady Orchid' and 'Red Star Hawaiian Ti Plant'. One item was missing in the box. I wrote to the customer service. They resent the missing item immediately. I am writing this review b/c I would like to let you know that they not only have the best product but also have the best customer service. I will continue to buy from this company again and plan to make Hirt's my go to nursery. I recommend you do the same.

I ordered several hydrangea plants and was seriously happy at the price and size of the plants. They forgot 3 but hopefully they'll remedy the mistake.

I recently have decided to help my grandmother with her garden. Nowadays it's quite cold outside, so we recently carried all her flowers and various plants inside the house and they require more care. I started to search for various websites where I could buy fertilizers. I noticed this company and decided to get acquainted with the assortment here. I liked couple of fertilizers and moreover my grandmother approved my choice, so I ordered them here and they were shipped pretty fast. I guess I will certainly apply here once again i nfuture when we will run out of these ones.

I cannot express how grateful I am for all the time and dedication put into the packaging of all my plants. They were all very healthy with an exception of my mini monsteras (due to very cold weather and traveling across the country.) I plan to make Hirt's my go to nursery.

I wanted some smallish plants to put in crevices in a stone wall and ordered six from Hirt's--santolina, thyme, sedum, and a lavender (the last an experiment). The plants were shipped the next day, arrived in a few days via USPS. I was surprised at how carefully the plants were packed--all were in great shape. I can only recommend.

I ordered 2 Black Beauty Elderberry plants and it shipped all the way from Ohio to Florida very quickly. They arrived in great shape! I had a hard time finding these anywhere else so I am very happy and would definitely order from Hirt's again.

I placed an order for 2 tropical ferns in Jan, they were on sale and I could not resist. They were processed the next day and shipped on a weekend and arrived before Ups stated. I was expecting Frost damage, but no, healthy large green plants. Will definitely order again.

I ordered ten plants on sale (my first order to Hirt's); 8 cultivars of Hydrangea arborescens, Hypericum frondosum 'Sunburst' (a plant I introduced in 1961), and Pieris japonica 'Valentine Valley'. The ordering was a little ambiguous, but Matt helped me through the process. I wanted them to delay shipping, after my order was in, but they did not do this. I fully understand that such a request adds to the complexity of their selling process, so I am not dissatisfied. The order came quickly and it was in very good condition. This is, from my experience, a good company to deal with. I also appreciate that they have a very large line of plants, including some cultivars that are difficult to find.

The New Orleans Maiden jasmine came quickly, was full of blooms, had more than one stem, was in a pot and bubble wrapped. Was packed extremely well in a box. Will order again and attached photos

I looked at a lot of sites before I chose Hirt's to order some plants because they had the best price with shipping overall, and a wide selection of indoor plants. I do not know about others, but I received very nice size and healthy plants for the price, that others just offer bare root, or tiny sprigs of the same plant. These were the delicate asparagus ferns. One of the plants I ordered turned out to be out of stock and I was given a larger plant and refund of the missing plant promptly for my inconvenience. I don't think it gets better than that for me at least.

Roses arrived quickly, in a well packaged box. Both bushes were healthy & soil in pots were moist & ready to plant. I will buy from this company again in the future.

The clematis I received August 2nd in a 2.5 inch pot has grown now on October 18th to about 3 feet tall. It is generally a summer bloomer but is sporting a stunning blossom today. I could not be happier.

Just received my beautiful Easter cactus. I am extremely happy at the size and potted with lots of buds ready to open. 1st time ordering from here but definitely will not be last. Packed with care, no breakage. WONDERFUL. I am elderly and have no idea how to add a picture.

I absolutely love Hirt's, everything I have bought from there comes quickly, and in pristine condition! I definitely suggest them, in every department they sell. I ordered plants, and their live ladybugs. Both always come happy and healthy! And the ladybugs do their job and fly away once all the bad bugs are gone.

Ordered plants on Nov. 16 received shipping confirmation on Nov. 17, received plants on Nov. 19. When I had first received the plants' everything was shipped securely, only one of them had been damaged during shipping (It was expected since it was an elephant ear plant). The damaged plant had since sprouted new leaves and is growing well, the same goes for the other plant ordered. Seeing as though it has been slightly over a month and the plants are still doing well, I have no complaints about the quality of the products. The Packaging is thorough, the service is fast, I had no need to further contact the company after my order was placed and received. Will be buying again.

I have ordered twice this month through Amazon and very well pleased with their plants. Received quickly and plants were very healthy. Glad to find a good supplier any more as so many rip offs these days. Definitely going to order from them again. Highly recommend!

I receuved my 2 plants today they are magnificent... if i would of picked them myself i could not have done a better job.the size of my purchases are awesome, they are very strikingly healthy plants and they were packaged with great care... i will definately be buying from you hopefully for years to come. I called my daughter after i opened them and told her how impressed i was.so i intend to tell all my plant buddies, now i really cant wait for my new greenhouse to get here so i can order more plants. I just wanted to say thank you for being an amazing experience as this was my very first time ordering plants online. I didn't even know it was a thing. COLOR ME COMPLETELY SATISFIED! Finally, a legit company that sends LIVING plants, timely, with the type of care I give my own plants/flowers. Not only is it hard to find yellow aptenia, but when I have ordered it, it arrived dead with a slug (from another company). I've had online plants arrive dead, dry, and overall in BAD CONDITION. This yellow aptenia arrived in a few days, it was green and happy to be put in the ground. I am thankful, I will be a returning customer.
