If i could leave zero stars i would, this was my hily experience in less than 24 hours of downloading this app:
1: signed up without being made aware of basic rules and regulations
2: brought this app multiple active users to my profile without promoting it or soliciting any users
3: i was banned for solely putting "onlyfans/cerasus" in my profile.
(i didn't find ANY worthwhile candidates on this app so i figured i'd try to help myself)
4: HILY HATES WOMEN WHO LOVE THEMSELVES!
"FREE" to use app, but when you want to start the free trial you still have to get a subscription. Without purchasing you can't really do anything, Horrible

Firstly, I would like to address the title of your review, and clarify that in Hily, you can set your distance to anywhere between 10 and 200 miles, and if you wish to, you can also increase it to 200+. Additionally, we have a global search option which further increases the distance you can search in, as you can set your search location to anywhere you want. Lastly, I would like to mention that while Hily has paid features, they are completely optional, as all of the basic features in the app, along with streams and stories are completely free of charge.
It is somehow a good app but it didn't satisfy me because I need to spend a lot of money just to use it without any ads. Anyway, it is given that most apps now a day are full of ads.

The app interface is user friendly and quite different to competitors, it is set out quite well and I really like the fact that you have to have a profile picture in order to see the pictures of other profiles.
However, the one word i would use to describe the app is - overwhelming. There is a lot going on and the in app notifications flashing across the screen every few minutes is very distracting and makes the experience slightly more difficult. The pop-up notifications are one issue I found, but I also found that there was a lot of functionality listed on the app, i. E. live stream, stories, visitors, likes. The page is bombarded with information which i believe could be compartmentalised and combined to clean up the UI and make the user experience slightly cleaner. The overwhelming nature of the app makes me want to spend less time on it.
I think the verification process should also be mandatory, it seems as though it is optional, I have had my account for a little while now and I see the option to verify but it hasn't made me do it. This makes me weary of the other profiles that i see aren't verified.
I also only use dating apps that let me specify religious preferences, I am not a fan of the fact that it isn't one of the preferences questions asked when you create the app - If i was using this app, this would be something that would put me off the app,
The amount of likes you get once you get started seems very unrealistic and high - it may be true, but it doesn't feel like it is. The idea of being swarmed by bots the minute you sign up isn't very attractive in an app.

Additionally, I would like to mention that while the number of likes you get might be large, that simply means that people like your account a lot, and are genuinely interested in you. One of our most important points in Hily is transparency, and we would never feed fake likes into users’ accounts to increase activity, as that would be simply abhorrent. The app is okay but to be honest, I don't like it. I think it has too much weird stuff and effects for a dating app. It is more a social media platform than a dating app. Wouldn't recommend this one!
