I had an awful experience. I asked a simple question back in August when I first hired the law firm, the response was consistently "we will have to ask the attorney."
I never received an answer.
About 30 emails later that would be responded to in about two weeks, a phone call I was expecting that never received and finally a BBB complain, I ended up cancelling my service today as of 6/3/2021 when they informed me they were "not obligated to communicate through BBB" and that they "will simply cancel [my] service."
I will avoid all the details to keep this short. My advice would be to steer clear of this business.
I paid them $1700 that I didn't have to get my record expunged! A 52 year old record! They sent me papers saying it was all expunged. I go to get my carry permit and guess what. I was turned down because the FBI still had everything that was supposed to have been expunged on my record! I have a meeting with our local DA, I'm sure he can get to the bottom of this rip off! I sure would like to change this review, if they do as promised for $1700 from someone on Social Security I'd be glad to rewrite this. I have 20 days left to get it off the FBI records. I'm sure our DA here in TN will get to the bottom of what they didn't do! As I said I'd love to give them a great review but as of now they don't deserve one. If they do what was promised I'd be happy to change this.
This was a great service. Everything was very through and explanatory. The letter I got explaining the process I would have to follow was very helpful and helped me prepare some questions to ask during my call. I really liked the reassuring email I got after I booked a consultation appointment. It made a world of a difference to read and helped calm my nerves and stress that I was feeling.
These people take your money and then don't respond. They will make you run around getting this and that (costing you more money), then once you have it all - you sit waiting for a reply and it never comes.
They are criminals, don't waste your money or time on this firm.
They took my money $150 and never helped me then they tried to charge me $200 more. And expected me to pay 150 a month for 5 months even after I asked for my money back they never replied to my messages and they basically stole my money. This is the worst company ever.
The process was very simple. You guys understood the urgency of the situation and expedited the documents I needed. Not only did you make the documents easy to understand and follow, but you were very pleasant to talk to.
I am very satisfied with this service, it was very helpful, they had a timely response time. They were also thorough with their explanation about the process to follow.
They told me they could hide my Charge from background search, i called a different lawyer and its not legal to even do this, they charged me 275$ and it can't be done
They did a great job dealing with my creditors. Their attorneys and staff are excellent. I was very stressed about my financial situation and they showed me a path to success.
I like how quick their response time was and the consultation service was helpful. Overall, I was glad they were quick to process everything because this was something I had been sweating over.
I hired these clowns 3 months ago and all they've done is to request records from the court which I was able to obtain in a couple of days. THEY DO NOTHING for their paid clients.
It has been very helpful. I appreciate the help because this has been a very scary experience for me.
What a place. Took my money and produced nothing. Now they are threatening with a lawsuit for services never rendered. Stay away from Higbee.
