I won a bid and I called them, send them messages and emails and I have not received answers and they already charged me. HiBid need to have better control of the companies they partner with and they should have an area where we can report this kind of issues.

Knew nothing about release form until last minute...just a lot of stress only to get washer hooked up by plumber and it does not work! Most upset

There is always a chance of disappointment when bidding on an item that you can only look a pictures as to the condition of the item.

Technically app worked well. Auction company was lacking in pictures of item being sold. Reserve was added on almost all items with a few hours left to bid. Won bid but didn't meet reserve

I won 1700 Mercury dimes at a cost of over $3,500 From Antique Finder Services Inc and they never sent them. Numerous calls, Msg's assured me they would be arriving soon. That Auction was in APRIL of 2024.

I will never use this website again...it crashed mid auction and I lost some things I really wanted because it took about 5 minutes to come back, which is forever during an auction. Then, for some reason it put in a bid on something I didn't want and I had to pay for it because there allegedly was "bidding history" even though I never even looked at it or watched or wanted. So never again! 😔

Not sure what happened, but ever since the app shut down the website has been horrible to access. My wife and I ran it on 4 different devices and while we can quickly open any other webpage, HIBid takes an incredible amount of time to load or refresh. This was not an issue before, maybe an update is needed?

Bidding process did go smoothly but I did have one small issue that I was able to identify and take care of. As I would transition from my current bids to live auction the system would open another tab. I did not realize that I had multiple tabs open for the live auction. A small amount of time difference between the different tabs occurred but I caught it and closed all the tabs except one. Once I took care of that everything went smoothly.

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
