Bought a special and very expensive bra from them for under my wedding dress. I received it in the mail, tried it on, was waayyy too small despite the fact that I bought a size up from my regular bra size. I then promptly folded it up, put it in the box, and returned it as soon as I could.

I put "policy" in quotes because policy doesn't really seem like the right word. I bought a package of undies and when it arrived I tried on only 1 pair of the several in the package. I opened the package only enough to retrieve this one pair. I tried it on OVER the underpants I was wearing, per their instructions. I had it on for less than a minute as it was apparent that it was a bad fit. I put them back in the package, filled out their form and requested a refund. They denied me the refund, returning the package of undies to me with a large note stating their policy of not returning products that had been worn (though they had said it was ok to try them on over your undies) and not accepting products that were scented. This to me was the last straw. I don't wear perfumes or scented products due to allergies, so if there was a perfume, it wasn't from me! But the pretty tissue paper they wrap the product in was HEAVILY SCENTED (not by me, by them!). Their stinky product is now in the garbage. I will never attempt to buy anything from them again. I wish I had read the reviews on this site before buying.
This place is the most HORRIBLE website I've ever seen. There returns process sucks to the highest level. They take weeks to even acknowledge a return, "Processing"another couple weeks. Online scam artists. I will probably never get my money back

I've never done a negative review before... and am sorry to slam HerRoom as the prices are good and it's great to get hard-to-fit sizes. I've bought a number of bras there before without incident until I tried to return one that was the wrong size (ordered four more in the correct size)... A few weeks later, the original bra comes back to me with NO NOTE of explanation. I called to enquire why - was told there is a yellow stain and pen mark on the right cup. I am looking under full light and there is NOTHING THERE. The assistant said she can see it on the photo... I asked her to send me the photo but she refused. I feel insulted (yellow stain?) and ripped off. Will not be dealing with HerRoom again.
This business has some of the rudest, stupidest people I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. They sent the same incorrect order twice and then were rude and hung up and wouldn't listen to me when I was talking. They refused to reimburse me for my postage for the incorrect order. I will NEVER do business with them again and canceled the balance of my order. They denied a supervisor was there, then got when they needed an approval; miraculously she just arrived back at her desk. They lie and are idiots. Stay away. Lots of other good sites with competent people and real customer service.

I had ordered 3 different sports bras because I have yet to find one I like. They arrived, tried them on, liked one style but too tight. You know we women always view ourselves as smaller than we are :). I returned all 3 and requested 3 in different colors in a larger size of the bra I liked. They contacted me stating the bra was discontinued, no larger sizes were available. At this point I asked for a refund. A couple weeks later I received a washed bra unpackaged with a note stating it could not be refunded because THE ODOR could not be removed by different cleaning methods! SO I GUESS I STINK! AND I managed to transfer my stench to the bra in the couple of minutes it took to try it on! Thus they charged me and sent me a washed, too small bra! Way to get rid of discontinued inventory I guess!

Was waiting for credit to appear, when about thirty days later in the mail I received the old bra back with a nasty little note about them not accepting the bra because of stains and or odor. Wow, I really wish that I had done some research before ordering with this company. I wear a small, hard to find bra size, so I though HerRoom might be a good way to try out some brands and styles that I can't find in local stores. I ordered two bras and tried them both on at the same time. One was too large, and the other was too small. I returned them both. A week and a half or so later I received an email saying that they received my return for one of the bras. I called customer service to inquire about the other and was told that it had not passed the "inspection process." What?! Beware, if you don't know the brand, the style and your size to a tee, and aren't prepared for final sale... this company will make up reasons to refuse refunds. Two bras, bought together, tried on together within 5 minutes of each other, returned together... one accepted and the other rejected.?
I was excited to find this company to order bras in hard to find sizes. With my last order, I tried on all three bras and non fit and I directly put them back in their original packaging with tags attached and returned them. A month later one was sent back to me with a note saying it was not returnable. I called the customer service people to ask why and they said there is an ink stain. I carefully inspected the garment and did find a tiny mark the size of a tip of a pencil. It must have came this way, but they wouldn't know it since it came from the manufacturer. They don't inspect them before shipping so they have no way to confirm what was there before it was shipped. I am out $40 and have a bra that does not fit. Never use them. They may steal your money too.

We ordered two items from "her room" -- an online business operating in texas.
When the items were not as desired -- we promptly returned the garments in perfect condition.
However, the company will not give us credit.
They say one of the items was returned damaged: covered in ink and smelling of perfume.
We contest this.
What's more, they would not offer any evidence that we had damaged the returned items.
Neither item was damaged while briefly in our possession.
They were returned in *pristine* condition.
What's more, my wife tried on both garments.
If one smelled of perfume, they would logically *both* smell of purfume.
But this is not the case.
We are demanding a full refund from this unscrupulous company.
Because, if they are cheating us out of our fair refund, they have most likely done the same thing to countless other consumers.
They are rude and uncooperative, but that pales in comparison to how they are stealing from customers.
This is the worst way to conduct business -- and their on-line reputation is horrible.

NEVER order from HerRoom! Ordered 3 bras. Had to return because they didn't fit. They only refunded me for 2 of the three. They claim one of the bras was not in 'pristine' condition. Terrible customer service and a ridiculous return policy. I am now stuck with 2 bras that don't fit. I attempted to return them after trying on, I was not satisfied with the fit. Both were unworn, with original tags intact. My return was refused. When I questioned this, I was told by a member of the customer service team that a manager would contact me. I got a generic email stating they reserve the right to refuse returns. This company is terrible, I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing.
Beware of HerRoom. I returned an item, untouched. I never even took it out of the package it was mailed in. HerRoom claims it is used or has a mark on it, so they refuse to accept the return or refund my money. There are no marks on the item sent back to me (a white bra), but they refuse to accept it. The claim they used to refuse a refund is false, or at best, grossly mistaken. Given the experience I had with the aggressive and presumptive customer service rep, I will never do business with Her Room again! Stay away fro this business. There better ones out there!
Ordered a nightgown from this website. Washed it before wearing. It shrank terribly and the cloth became hard and wrinkled. Unwearable! The customer rep. Refused to issue refund, pretended to consult with her supervisor, and then just robotically recited their return policy which is impossible to comply with. You cannot even try on their products or that is considered a used item. Wish I had read these reviews before ordering!
I bought a bra online and it was too big. All I did was try it on and take it off. I re-ordered a smaller size and sent back the one that was too big which I had to pay for shipping back. I recently was sent back the original bra with a note that said they didn't feel it was in its original condition and would not refund my money. I inspected the bra for any marks, odor loose threads... anything that would warrant their decision and also had other people inspect it. It was brand new and smelled brand new. To make a long story short... I ended up paying about $108 for a bra because they wouldn't honor the refund. I will never do business with this crap company again!
I am in agreement with many of the previous reviews. HerRoom is a company with very poor customer service skills and very rude representatives. I recieved a sport bra with a few other items that I had ordered. The sport top was the one the customer service rep recommended when I called and expressed my aprehension about ordering one without having tried it in advance. When it arrived, it was the wrong size. I put it back in the box and mailed it back to them at cost to me. Recently, I received the item back with a card that read it was "less than new." Being that it was BRAND NEW, TAGS STILL ON, I emailed them. They did not respond. After a few days, I called them. The woman on the phone was exceedingly rude. She said the item had "a scent." I asked, "What scent, I never took it out of the box?" She said she didn't know what scent and stated that my closet or home must be "musty." I would invite ANYONE to examine this item. They could say anything and return an item with no refund or exchange. I would steer very clear of this business.

Answer: Hello Sally - if you just want a smaller band size while keeping your same cup volume, move from a 36H(D5) to a 34I(D6). The problem, however, is that this bra does not have a larger cup size in this style. I therefore would not suggest this bra for you.
