I wish, I would have researched this company more before making a purchase. There are plenty reviews on their website but the reviews are controlled (all positive). The hair was expensive and arrived within three days. However the quality of it was lacking. The hair clip ins were very dry, and shed a lot. No amount of moisture will quench the thirst of these clip ins which matted and tangled throughout the day.
For the love of being fiscally responsible please invest your dollars on something else. I purchased the kinky textured 4b\4c clip ins. My kinky 4c rough and tough hair is more manageable than this stuff. If this stuff is suppose to mimic my hair, then this is an insult. Some people say use better products and treat this stuff like your natural hair. Natural hair products are very expensive, there is no way I'm going to use more product and more of my time to rescue this stuff.

I have tried to ignore the fact that these wigs are not quality after the 2nd wash. All of my lace from wigs get tangled and when I co-wash from tip to root it doesn't work. I've used high quality conditioners and nothing seems to work to help these wigs hold their quality. I have bought 4 wigs and each one has deteriorated after the 2nd co-wash. As you can see in the pictures my wig is destroyed and locked at the roots where the lace front is. This always happens and I'm just tired of spending $500-$600 on wigs that don't last long at all. I reached out to customer service and asked for either a refund or a replacement wig and I have been ignored without a response back. Please do not purchase these wigs as they are not quality. They look really good when you first wear them but like I said after the 2nd or 3rd wash it's a done deal. I would not recommend purchasing these wigs if you are looking for a long term wig to last you for more than 6 months. This company isn't it. I'm so hurt about my wig and how the hair all came out on my lace front part as you can see the picture. This wig is 3 months old and it looks horrible and it is in non repairable condition. It also sheds horribly and now the wig looks so thin. 1 star for me.

I purchased several customized (measurements) products. They sent me the wrong items (16" wig instead of 20") then tried to say it was not their wigs because the lace was too dark(I sprayed the knots), claimed they put a black band in it (they did not), and the label was not theirs (a blatant lie). Customer services was rude and clearly lying to cover themselves. Dishonest, greedy and disrespectful! The main problem here is that you can't hold these Asian companies accountable. Never again. Lesson learned!

Expensive nonsense. What's even more sad is all d influencers reviewing this trash. Never again. A mess tangles and sheds like madness at first it's nice and then suddenly d switch don't even bother wasting products just Count ur lose and move on and if you do see this before u buy DONT'. I have been doing Human hair since 2005 and de can't tell me how to take care of hair if de have to school u its cause its trash. This is trash.

From what I've seen out there, HGH has one of the best hair texture options and most realistic hair textures. However, their lace is soooo thick and unrealistic. If they could start using a better quality lace, like an HD lace, this company would be on top.

If I could give her given hair a review with zero Stars I would. My story is typical. I purchased an expensive wig but did not get a receipt, an email stating when I can expect the wig, I didn't get anything. Her given hair is sold from overseas and every time I try to call the customer service number it is a busy signal. It is not a real number. I've emailed them twice with no response. I do not have a choice but to dispute this transaction with my bank.

I recently purchased this kinky upart wig with a customized color after months of debating if it was worth the price. It's probably my 4th hair purchase from hergivenhair. And it was worth it. I got so many comments, lots of people thought it was my real hair to my surprise. Someone even thought I was lying when I said it wasn't. It's definitely my favorite wig now. I would highly recommend if you have the money

My experience with hergivenhair has been great. From their customer service to the quanlity of the wig is very exceptional. I bought the coily headband wig. It matches my hair texture very well and it's full. The wefts were made very neatly and it fits snug as there are adjustable straps. It sometimes gets dry (just like my own hair) but with the correct moisturizer it works out well. I would define be purchasing again.

I ordered an item from this site and to make a long story short I paid for the cost of shipping to receive the item, no problem. When I returned the item I had to pay to return the item, still no problem. When I received my refund and it was minus the shipping cost, I got a little confused. Their explanation is that they pay DHL in advance and this cost is passed along to the customer (okay, fine upon the initial order), but their explanation made no sense in regards to why an additional shipping charge was deducted from my refund after I paid to return the item. Bringing the total to 3x in shipping cost alone. Also there is a $20.00 restocking fee; however this appears under "How can I Cancel my Order", and not under "What is your return Policy". They sent me an email stating they were going to rewrite the policy to inform the customer about the shipping, but I am not sure if this has been done because I have not been back on their website. Their merchandise is expensive, so ask a boatload of questions before ordering. Other than that, the quality of the hair and the construction is very good.

I bought this hair in January but didn't use it until March. When the pandemic hit NYC, I finally had some time off to devote to my kinky textured full lace wig. When I first washed it, it tangled and shedded a bit but nothing major. It looked fabulous. The next time I washed it, it became a tangled mess. I used the recommended products and followed the instructions but it still tangled. It took me hours to untangle it. I lost a lot of hair but because it had so much hair to begin with, it wasn't really a problem. The final time I washed it though... It tangled again. This time I was extra careful, I again used the recommended products and tried not to touch the roots of the hair. But it still ended up looking and feeling like a bird's nest. I tried to untangle it again and large chunks of hair were coming out. This was a complete waste of over $450 dollars. I got wigs that cost me much less that lasted much longer than this one at the beauty supply store. I also noticed that when I went to write a review on their website, it wasn't posted. Ladies, save your coins. Although this wig was the closest I've ever had to my own texture hair in the end, it's just not worth the cost; unless you don't ever intend to wash it.

This hair company is amazing. I have several wigs from this company. This hair is natural and mimics my natural hair.

There are not a lot of reviews of this company and I wish I had found more information from real customers when I purchased, so here's my attempt to help someone:

If you need your order asap, then you should avoid the wigs section unless you are willing to wait 4 weeks to receive the hair. They have some ready to ship wigs available as well, so that might be your best bet. I paid $20 extra to receive my wig in 2 weeks.

Depending on the style you are going for, you don't need 3 bundles of hair for a natural look. This is a great way to make the hair affordable for you. The wig I purchased is a lace closure wig, although it is cute, the volume is ridiculous. It is way too big and doesn't look natural at all, which is the point. I have to cut a lot of tracks off the wig for a more natural look, which is sad cause the wig cost $400, but I refuse to walk around looking like I am wearing a big poufy hat, especially when they hair gets frizzy, it is a gigantic poufy mess.

They could offered cheaper wigs with less hair density. I don't know who is walking out of the house everyday with this much hair on their head, its not cute. Not everyone Is a youtuber, some of us are regular girls with regular jobs and we need a natural looking wig, not Diana Ross wig.

Overall the quality of the hair and wig is nice - 7/10 for hair quality (I have bought better curly hair from amazon for half the price), 9/10 for wig quality, 1/10 for wig construction & style.

I have been a customer since 2018. It's such a shame the quality of hair is in steady decline. This will be the last time I order from the company.

Great quality hair ( i took the curly one) not too much shredding and easy detangling arrived just in time in 10 days

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED with the wear quality of the unit I received from HerGivenHair. I purchased a kinky curly unit in March 2020 for $528. One would expect to receive high quality product for the high price, right? Well think again! In an effort to protect my investment I even purchased the recommended high-end hair products and followed the instructions per the detailed care booklet enclosed with the unit. Despite me doing all of that I ended up with large balls of matted hair in the nape and smaller ones on the hairline, all of this after only 1 month of wear. The mats cannot be detangled in fact they continue to increase in size while on the mannequin head. I am a long-time daily wig wearer out of necessity and have NEVER experienced matting in the hairline. This hair arrived hard but was more manageable after a good conditioning. The unit is a bit hard to manage due to the volume of hair. After just a couple months the hair is hard, stiff and dry with no way to revive it. I have reached out to the company in hopes that they will have a suggestion but I have not yet heard back. I felt comfortable making the purchase after the favorable YouTube reviews. I only found one video with a negative review. "The Ugly Truth About HerGivenHair" by YouTuber EverythingVanesa. Unfortunately for me I found this review after I had spent my money. I suggest that you do your homework and spend your money wisely before making a purchase with HerGivenHair. There are better options for those of us looking to purchase hair that mimics African American hair. This review is to save others the grief of spending $500 on a unit that will end up looking worse that a $20 synthetic wig. Buyer Beware!

The company reached out to me to see if I was happy with my purchase... I definitely was not and would have left it there, but they emailed me, and this was my response:

We installed the hair, and initially it was beautiful.
But after it dried, it became so knotted and matted, barely able to be detangled.
So much hair shed with the difficult managing, the hair looked horrible to the point we just tied a scarf around it and left some curls out in the front.

I use awesome products on the hair, and it looks so pretty while it's still damp and after combing out all the knot balls, but it's a mess after it dries. I'm sorry I'm not happy with my $500 purchase and can't recommend this hair to anyone.
I paid $60 for the darker hair and after the first wash the color faded to brown. So it doesn't match my hair color as well.

They sent back several emails that tried to get to the reason why the hair was so terrible, and offered advise, hair care tips... to which I replied:

Thank you for following up, I appreciate it really.
But you misunderstood me... I did NOT say "after it was Dyed" it became knotted.
I said "After it was DRY"... as in no longer wet.
Or maybe your referring to the dying that your company did?

Which brings back to my mind another issue, I paid $60 for the darker hair and after the first wash the color faded to brown. So it doesn't match my hair color.
At any rate, thanks for the tips.
My family and I are natural hair stylists and specialists, my daughters a cosmetologist and I use only the best products. I've been buying hair for years and have never had this experience. This hair is poor quality, even that awful synthetic crochet hair is better than this hair.

Bottom line, they were nice and responsive, but A LOT of hard earned money wasted... sorry I wasn't able to upload the pics
