Nice to have an alternative to Walmart and Amazon when it comes to herbs, but with all things being pretty close to equal, the bottom line still rules for old-timers eking out a living on a fixed income. If you can make some kind of accommodation for people like us, you'll have steady customers. But again, sorry to say, all things being pretty much equal, the bottom line by necessity will always rule. And excessive S&H is the deal killer.
Also, Watsonville USPS did not keep delivery status up-to-date and left us wondering. And have received emails asking for some kind of feedback that led nowhere, links invalid, page expired, etc. Not good.
Greatly appreciate the full story pages, contain lots of useful information but could be even better. For instance, on how to actually make salves and tinctures with comfrey, say, or calendula. The wife buys boxfuls of calendula cream--all the way from France! Leaves the tubes all over the place, and I'm sure they cost a pretty penny. Drives me crazy. If she could make something on her own that was more wholesome and affordable, that would be a great help.
The pictures and info on the regular page are very nice, and the site is pretty easy to navigate. May be the best of its kind. Sure beats buying the stuff on Amazon. Ugh! The thought of putting money into Bezos' pockets makes my skin crawl.
Montery Bay Herb Co. Has a wide selection of herbs and spices with good quality and reasonable prices. I always get my herbs in a timely manner.
Monterey Bay Herb carries a great selection of herbs/plants, even items that are difficult to find elsewhere. The quality of the herbs is good. The only issue I have is that availability is not always great - there is at least one or two herbs needed each time that are out of stock, and this last time that I ordered there were three herbs that I needed that were unavailable. Other than this, I love the company and product.
I've bought from Monterey Bay herb company for many years but recently, their shipping prices have been pretty high so i try to only order when I have enough to warrant the expensive shipping.
I like the products this company sells; it helps with my business. The only thing I would prefer is lower shipping prices and when a product is discontinued, for it to be removed from the listing of herbs available so one doesn't waste time.
I always receive good quality products and the selection is fantastic. I just wish the free shipping was available at $100 rather than what it is now.
I am always pleased with the products. They have a lovely green tea that I absolutely love. Their mullein is fabulous. I've gotten many more items, but haven't used them all yet. This is my go-to place for herbs, teas, spices and information.

This is a great company. Their teas are very good. I've been ordering from them for years. In all that time, I had 1 bag of tea leaves that was mostly tea dust. It was replaced immediately. I really like that there are multiple sizes of the teas so that you can try different flavors.

It's so easy to say "shop here it's a great place" but that is used too much lately. So, shop here for your herbs and spices because it is the best site with the best selection. Also the best at educating the buyer what a herb or spice is and how to use it properly.

Im only here because I ran out of roots and needed to replenish quickly. I was shocked to see I ordered approx 30.00 worth of merchandise weighing in at less than 3 lbs and being charged 14.00 for shipping! That's 1/2 my purchase. I won't be back but thanks anyways!
