Call center experience was very lacking and frustrating. Once the technician was finally assigned and onsite, he completely restored my faith in the company. Knowing he is my technician I know I'm in good hands and he will fix what I mess up.

We required mounting a tv and Jacob was our tech. Polite and professional young man. Arrived on time and finished the task quickly. Did a great job, we were very pleased with the service.
David was super nice, pleasant and professional. He effectively mounted our flatscreen in a timely fashion, and most impactful, he consulted with us before making the final touches to ensure we'd be satisfied with the placement of our tv mount to give us full satisfaction with my husband's home office desk.
Fantastic & very knowledgeable. He was assigned to us on a priority status because our recently installed router had lost all wireless connection. He quickly found the problem & fixed it explaining the cause & resolution.
The tech arrived and would not carry the television to the room it was supposed to be hung in. He arrived with a second person to help him and here are these two men in our home leaving a middle aged woman and a young girl to carry a television up stairs. It was humiliating. Although he did hang the television I was also concerned he would break my mirror on the other side of the wall he hung the tv on as well. He said because I got cheap service they weren't responsible to carry a tv to the room or to do extra stuff.
I did like that he called early on to ask about the tv and what room it was going in.
He pulled the previous bracket off the wall like he had done me such a favor. The television is mounted though, and its done well.
But fact that I had to carry the television to the room it was in myself killed this entire experience for me.
Scott was phenomenal. He arrived on time, was extremely nice, and provided A++ service. His patience and thorough work is admirable, excellent job! 4 stars based on company policy of 12 ft limit for lights, this is not high enough for many homes. Pricing is misleading the way it is written — Holiday Light Hanging / Removal. One might believe price includes both services but it is only for one.

I submitted 10 available dates and times ans had no response.
I finally got a tech assigned (same day with 4 hours notice.
I made some minor schedule adjustments, and then found out the tech cancelled.
I have spent the time I could have done this myself trying to get them to get someone out to me.
Cheated with help and nothing is resolved.

Save your time and tears and energy and money. The worst experience I have ever had in my life. They broke my tv, did not connect it, and left the wires a joke. Hire literally anyone else. Still waiting for a refund or someone to call me back.
I ordered a nickel elegant shaped smart lock and received a black square version. Bait and switch tactic 100%. I called customer service and received no help. I'll supposedly receive a call in the next 48 hours but the man on the phone could not even send me a confirmation of contact email. As this is a tech company you would think this would be possible when a ticket is create if not auto generated. Be very wary of ordering merchandise from this company.

Called to have my google nest looked at since the AC wasn't staying on properly. Figured we needed a C wire. When the tech arrived he said it's a liability issue and he doesn't install C wires BUT on the website it is advertised that they do install it. When he arrived he asked for the instruction manual but I said we don't have it. He played around with the nest wiring and came down to saying it's the C wire and he can't do anything and I was still charged the full amount. For nothing in return when I knew I needed a c wire. I reached out and voiced my concern and they came back with a 20% refund. DONT waste your money on these people. Call your local HVAC rep and they will be so much more helpful and cheaper.
This company is a scam. To EVERYONE! They hide an auto renewing subscription fee on your credit card! Took me several months to figure it out. Not to mention the person I paid $179 never did complete the job-- had to hire a different contractor. STAY AWAY!

Scheduled an appointment to have a 75" television mounted, appointment was for 12:00 pm, at 1:30 no tech, no text, no notification at all. After chat, and phone conversation, was told I needed to pick 2 other dates. They have a clause in their agreement giving them the ability to charge the entire amount of the service if the client isn't available at the agreed upon date and time, but take no responsibility for wasting my time after taking a day off to have a tv mounted. Horrible experience and customer service.
(1) While they say they don't charge until completion, they "pre-charge" your card (2) No easy way to contact them (3) their chat is 100% robot so don't expect an answer to any questions (4) appointment made with a tech for 6...he never arrived. He never called. He never texted...just ghosted. (5) After I found a phone number & spoke with a real person, I received a text telling me that the tech was no longer available & that I'd get a text with a future appointment date/time. Horrible experience. Not making this mistake again.
In this day age of having to assemble nearly every furniture piece bought Hello Tech is a Godsend! The technician was professional, the company allowed me a wide range of times to fit my schedule. The dining room set was assembled beautifully and I am very pleased. I am now a repeat customer.
We called HelloTech to fix a remote that acts as a liaison between the television set on the wall, and a cable box in a closet. They charged us $79+ tax, upfront for the service call. Turned out that the technician jiggled two wires, and bingo, the remote worked. He never removed the tv from the wall, never played with the box, jiggled two wires. When I booked the service, I was told that the $94+ with tax would cover fixing the unit. American Express has caught them trying to charge us an additional $203.14 twice and blocked it! Yay, Amex. I called their cs department. It was evident from the accents both times that I was not speaking to representatives from the United States. Both times, I was assured that the error would be rectified. So far, not. Stay tuned in for further updates. Oh, they also had my email wrong.
The first time I scheduled the technician was a complete no-show. The second guy was wonderful, but we could not schedule with him directly. The next one said he could not come 2 hours before the appointment, arrived the next day with an attitude of I really don't want to work. Then decided to leave because the job required him to attach something which I was HAPPY to pay for it... he left and my job is still not done.
Absolutely the best Tech I have ever had. He fixed everything and made my laptop useable. Thank You Hello tech!
