I recent had a smart thermostat installed. The tech was right on time and installed the thermostat quickly and accurately, but the rep at the call center had not informed me I needed a c wire to supply a constant power source. The tech ran a line from thermostat to a transformer that plugs into my wall for the princely sum of $120 additional. This is not internal wiring, mind you; essentially, it's just a very, very expensive plug. Had I know what I'd get for this cost, I'd have called an electrician and had a C wire run internally.
The tech was clearly inexperienced. He was unsure of the mounting hardware, drilled more holes than necessary and was unclear on the entirety of the job. I paid for a professional with superior knowledge to myself to complete a job I didn't want to do. I could have received the same level of assistance from my teenage son. The first tech was a no show, the service was rescheduled for the same day but even that tech was over an hour late and then he seemed to have little knowledge of the job he was hired to perform.
No one showed up or called after two appts. One which was scheduled days prior. Don't waste your money. Refunds take 4-7 weeks for check or 2-4 for PayPal rescheduled for next week and told that's not guaranteed
Phillip was very courteous and professional. He walked us through the process of what he was doing. Made suggestions of where to place the tv for better viewing and less neck strain.
Installer encountered a smaller than standard lock installation and had to cut the hole bigger in the door. His drill also failed, but he went and got a replacement and finished the job.
Christian was friendly and communicated with me in a manner that was understandable and efficient. In general he was a very pleasant person.
Oliver was on time, answered all my questions and set up the TV just as I needed it to be. He was friendly and knowledgeable and I will have no hesitation in asking for him again if I need more help!
I bought a nest camera doorbell and installation through Google. Google uses handy and Angie as their contractor and they rescheduled eight times. I canceled the last one made an appointment with Hellotech not only did they not cancel but they offered to come a day early-The actual day I made the appointment. The technician was professional, fast and courteous.
I'm definitely using Hellotech again in the future
Don't provide invoices. Customer service useless, both chat and on phone. I have sent three requests for an invoice to be emailed to me. Tech was here over a week ago and still no invoice.
Outdoor patio stereo stopped working, I installed a new stereo preamp and that didn't resolve it. You sent Max Latsamout who traced the speaker lines, found the shorts in the wiring and fixed the problem

The tech was EXCELLENT in diagnosing the problem and explaining to me in detail what needed to be done. He offered suggestions and also gave his professional opinion on what the job required. He had extensive knowledge of the whole TV and audio system along with what works best. It was a great experience overall as it was GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I scheduled an install and mounting service with Best Buy initially. When they finally came it was outside of the delivery window and I had to reschedule. Thank god for the miscommunication because I reached out to HelloTech the following day and they showed up at the building early and on the same day I scheduled. Which is what I needed! Call these guys first! They really saved me in a bind.
There were several things that were problematic and Ley was great at being flexible and accommodating. We weren't able to attach the sound bar as I didn't know it needed brackets.
Paul was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. He was so patient with my 11 year old who was asking him IT questions the entire time he was here. Our computer needed some work and Paul got it up and running in just one visit. Thank you so much, Paul!

This time my service has been awful from the beginning
1. I made an apt in Baton Rouge La and the tech showed up at my old address in NC
2 I never head back...eve though the field team told me that someoen would call me back and reschedule
3. I have now called back two times to reschedule...No one makes the apt and follows though with the emailed apt.as agreed...very poor.
