I am very disappointed to receive grains in a heavy plastic bag. This world is full of plastics. I thought you, being a health conscious company, would avoid plastics. I hope you change that.
I decided to check out the essential oil products on this site. My mistake, because now I am getting constant emails to buy their products. Every day they send me an annoying email to be sure and make a purchase. UgggggHHHHHH!
I placed an order on July 3,2014. The product was paid via Paypal, it has been two weeks and Tropical Traditions has not authorized the shipment. I called them several times, in addition to sending them several email with copies of the Paypal receipt. They answered requesting me to call them. That's a joke because they never answer the phone. We leave messages that are totally ignored. Very frustrating! Their customer service is below satisfactory. Be careful if you ever decide to purchase from Tropical Traditions.
I've only purchased coconut products from this site, but, from my research, they are the highest quality and best value offered anywhere. I keep checking back, sometimes for months, to get the best deals as they have sales on different products at different prices. It is worth it though! When a good sale hits, I buy all I can. I have been using their coconut products for about 13 years.
Just an FYI Tropical Traditions changed their name to Healthy Traditions a couple years ago to more accurately reflect their commitment to clean living and eating. I've been purchasing from this company since their early days selling on Ebay. That's easily been over 10 years ago. The products are high quality. Customer service is top notch. I've never had a problem with an order and every time I've contacted customer service with a question they have communicated promptly. Orders are shipped quickly and packaged appropriately so they arrive in pristine condition. Tracking is sent via email so you know when to expect your order. I wish all my internet purchases went as smoothly as when I buy from HT.
I have bought from Healthy Traditions (formally Tropical Traditions) for many years. Over the last year, customers can no longer talk to a person. They have a 'chat' or email and are not very engaged to the issues. I recently pre-paid via check for over 100.00 of product and the carrier, FedEx has been saying they will deliver by end of the day, for the past 5 days. I'm disappointed at Healthy Traditions because it is my problem, and they have washed their hands. I believe they shipped it, but I also think its been sitting in a truck or warehouse for 5 days and am concerned about the quality of the product. Of course, Healthy Traditions claims it will be fine. Good customer service would engage with their carrier for product, but no, they just look at the tracking # which says the same thing every day. Amazon & UPS have not had delivery issues so the COVID virus is no excuse.
They have a wide assortment of healthy food options, including organic and gluten free. Also have a wide assortment of safe and healthy home cleaners, personal care items, pet items, etc. When they have a *free shipping* day, I stock up on everything. Also love the weekly specials. Customer service is the best, which is important to me.
I went by Atlantic City and opened an account. Won respect from peers and cheerfully acknowledged up and downs. Its use is hard to contest. Reserve, snap in and leave!
I ordered a lot of flour from this shop. The last delivery included spoiled flour, however the shop was unwilling to refund my money. I will never order from them again.
I started buying from them because of the great info the site provides on their products. The care that is also demonstrated in their shipping is another reason I'll continue to buy from them!
