I ordered a replacement tarp and paid 9.99 for 2 day shipping I was mad when I found out it has 3 day processing time. But then they got there within 5 days and the item was perfect. I am very pleased and happy with the product.
They sent me around and around for months! They stopped responding via email, so I had to call to speak with a supervisor, and even after that, I had to stay on them because they wouldn't return calls or emails on their own deadlines. Then they promised me a refund, but turned around a week later and changed their mind. Wouldn't uphold the warranty, and offered me a crappy replacement of an entirely different product! Absolutely ridiculous.

This is my first order with Hayneedle. I ordered cushions for my dining benches and chairs. After reading other reviews, I am very nervous I will not get my order on time or it will not come at all. Did I make a mistake ordering from Hayneedle?
I ordered several glasses of the Artland Inc. Iris HiBall glasses - set of 4. They were shipped in accurate time and very well packed with very good padding. I love the colors!
I ordered a child's playhouse on Walmart.com. Before I even received it, the price dropped by $50. I contacted Walmart who sent me to Plumstruck. No one would match the new price and I did a lot of emailing to both companies. After we opened the box to assemble My Ceder Playhouse, we noticed a big chip out of the roof. FINALLY, Plumstruck agreed to refund my $50 and credit me $30 for the damage which we got fixed. Satisfaction!
Ordered an art table for my daughter and while assembling noticed it was missing one screw... just one. Called customer service number listed on instructions, and the rep informed me they could not send me a replacement screw. I even offered to pay for it, but no such luck.
The company later reached out to me, and offered an excellent solution.
HN promptly, professionally and completely corrected an unfortunate issue to my full satisfaction. I could not be more pleased how this was handled.
Every indication i have from recent transaction is that this site is an order taker and is not fulfilling the orders themselves. This means limited control of delivery and accountability for issues of damage and quality. Sales taxes are collected across many states. I attempted to cancel a large order placed on Sunday in less than 24 hours and was told they give 24-48 hours to their vendors to respond. Order was shipped and i got stuffed as customer. I am furious. They sure can take your money and forward the order fast but claim they are unable to stop the transaction. That is nonsense and indicates a troublesome lack of control. I absolutely will not use this source again and will recommend against its use to anyone who asks. Stick with direct sellers and avoid this source. Their business model is simply not customer centric and better, cheaper and more cooperative alternatives are available.
I found the item I was looking for at Hayneedle at a significantly lower price than anywhere else I found. I had never heard of Hayneedle so in researching the company I was brought to this site. I was a bit concerned with all the negative reviews and also noticed that Hayneedle seemed to only respond to positive reviews and not acknowledge the negative ones. Despite this I decided to order said item by telephone. The gentleman was courteous and helpful. The item arrived on time and in good condition. The financial transaction was seamless. The only advice I would give this company is to respond to some of the negative reviews such as the ones here and not just the positive ones. That almost kept me from buying from them. After reading other reviews, I was concerned about ordering from Hayneedle, but the specific item I wanted (garden fencing) had limited availability and the manufacturer specifically linked to Hayneedle as place to buy. Price was also best I saw among the few places I saw that offered the product I wanted, and selection of colors was excellent. Shopping experience was fine -- order shipped within a few days and arrived (via FedEx Ground, for which I paid $5 rather than using slower free shipping option) a few days later. Product was correct and undamaged.
I ordered a rug from Hayneedle that arrived and the coloring was much different from what was pictured so I had to return it (per my clients request). Well, for returning the item Hayneedle deduct $150 from your refund for return shipping when you only paid $39.99 to have it shipped to you! I will NEVER order from this company again. Wayfair all the way.
FOLLOW UP: After posting this review Hayneedle reached out to me and exchanged the freight return for a FedEx return fee and are going to reimburse for the 39.99 Return shipping. I have changed my review from 1 star to 4, but shouldn't have had to go through this process in the first place.
Pro: ordered a height-adjustable table for a friend; it arrived with one corner slightly damaged (probably dropped HARD on that corner, during shipping). Sent e-mail to Hayneedle describing problem and suggesting more padding on corners; got a reply that a credit of 10% of price plus all shipping costs would be applied to my credit card. Con: can't get off e-mail sales list, despite repeated "unsubscribe" attempts. So, mixed experience, but mostly positive.
I purchased 2 Linon Countertop Height stools in black successfully IN January of this year. I wanted to purchase 2 additional ones. I went to the confirmation email from my previous order and clicked on the link. It brought me to the Hayneedle site with a picture of the same stool in black. When I ordered 2 of them, I got a confirmation email which indicated they were being shipped in red. I immediately notified customer service and they said it was too late. That they had been shipped already and there was no way to cancel the order. After receiving them I took the steps to attempt to return them and it was then that I found out that they charge for returns. Basically I would get half of my purchase price back... and furthermore the black version was not only NOT in stock but also almost twice the price! OUTRAGEOUS! This NOT LIKE AMAZON TRUST ME. LET THE BUYER BEWARE! I will NEVER shop on Hayneedle again!

After placing this bed review online I was contacted by Hayneedle and was actually issued a complete refund of all my money. They told me to keep the merchandise as well. This was a classy move and actually way more than I expected. Their lesson learned should be to treat the customer right the first time around.
We ordered a glider and ottoman from Hayneedle and it came in 3 days. There was only 1 tiny little dent in the lower portion of the glider that you couldnt see unless you got down on the ground to inspect it. Very satisfied with the free shipping and the speed with which it shipped.
I recently ordered a few items for our new baby from Hayneedle, main one being a crib that we could not find in Canada. Of course AFTER I ordered everything, I came across all these negative reviews. I was all of a sudden scared to have placed the order, even if it was a good deal, and seriously thought about cancelling it but decided to take a chance.
WOW am I glad I did! Hayneedle delivered exactly what I ordered, completely intact and undamaged, and super fast! Even with an oversized item that weighed over 100lbs everything arrived in 4 days from the time of ordering and I got free shipping to boot! I would NOT hesitate to order from them again. Great experience!
