They took my payment and never sent the hair and have not provided a refund in spite of numerous requests. I am using Paypal dispute resolution now to see if they can get better results for my refund. Don't order anything from them. I think the good reviews are fake.
I've been ordering wigs for a couple of years with hair stop and shop, and I haven't experienced any delays, damage and issues. I'm fully satisfied with their service and would definitely order more from them. I also commend the customer service department for fast and professional response. Great Job!
This website is super shady. Used a brand new credit card to purchase some hair and the card was magically compromised.
They don't offer "phone support" and claim they have no idea how it happened even though the card was never used elsewhere. Also happened with a debit card in July but didn't know it was them until now.
I bought my first wig from them and I feel like they sent me something completely different and their return policy isn't the best and isn't easy as other sites. Plus I left a bad review on the wig only (not them) and they never posted the review, they don't want people to say their honest opinions on the wigs. What's the point of having "review this product" if you never post honest reviews.
I am blessed that I never was even able to purchase anything as the system sent me into spiral loop. I called and emailed. Someone responded with no support with how to register my email and finish with a checkout. I responded with:
I've repeated this cycle over and over again... over 20 times. I hope that you all resolve these issues. It's very frustrating as a customer and quite honestly establishes a sense of distrust. When I need support, I call the customer service number and no one answers. In fact, it is clearly communicated that no one will answer...[ I have to text]. When I text, no one responds. Disappointed. You all had the best price for the wigs I was set to buy, but I trust this experience was foresight depicting the type of customer service I could look forward to.
I placed and order with this company and have yet to get a email to confirm order. After order was placed I tried to set up my account again. Because it was like it kicked me out. So now I am emailing them again waiting on a response. I ordered these items for a friend which is now going to prolong my wait time. This is ridiculous.

I placed an order that did not go through due to me being outside the US with my card. I checked my bank balance 1 week later and saw $520US missing. Someone had a lovely time spending my hard earned money on a birthday party, they even ordered Papa John's.
Reported the fraudulent transactions to both my bank and Hair Stop and Shop. A hold was placed on my card and Stop and Shop rep told me there is nothing that can be done. Coincidentally, the first withdrawal was the exact amount as my initial order that did not go through on the website.
Fraudulent Company.
It's the worst company ever. I ordered products. They did not send me anything because the product was no longer in stock they did not even refund me. I wrote them by email they apologized but when I talked about refund they no longer answered me
Somehow my credit card was compromised after purchase. I did not know where it was compromised until I read reviews on here and see that other credit cards was compromised. My card is a new card and I have maybe used it 2 or 3x's. Other times in stores and the card remained in my hand. I only came on here to read reviews since I purchased a wig and never received it. Did not know this is what I would find out.
I have had the unfortunate experience of having my card compromised after ordering from your company. I just received the card and had not used anywhere else but on your site. Afterwards, I was reading reviews on this company, and I noticed several complaints of consumers cards being compromised too. The response said, the issue would be looked into, but evidently it has not been resolved and the person responsible is still employed here. I am so ecstatic that my bank caught this! I placed my order on July 10th & received it July 16th, 2020. Please look into this matter!
FYI: My review is based on my card issue only. Therefore, I am afraid to order from them again; eventhough, I am happy with delivery time (I am in Philly & company in NJ) & like the look of the wigs (I haven't worn it yet.)
Asia has poor customer service skills. She tells you she will ship out Friday and then doesn't answer the phone for the rest of the afternoon or ship out until nearly Tuesday. Apparently Danny the manager doesnt work during the day. I will be moving on to a better business. They render poor customer service. Shipping wiithin 24 hrs is false advertisement and their shipping is sooo slow. Go look at ebonyline.com instead

I bought a wig with $. HS&S has my $. Porch thief has my wig - IF IT WAS TRULY EVEN DELIVERED. HS&S doesn't care & has zero customer service skills, good will, or the prescience to realize that a happy customer will always return and give you more of their money. Nope. They literally run on taking one sucker at a time, and don't care if you never return. If that's the kind of company you want to deal with and give your hard earned money to, then have at it. But if you are reading this review, I'm telling you that they won't even offer you a sympathetic word or discount on your next order with them in order to keep you as a customer. Of course it's not their fault some porch thief took the wig (if that's what happened) - and it's not USPS's fault either. But the whole point is, I have no wig, and they have my money. Do they want me to buy from them again? Did they offer to replace the wig at a discounted price and specify shipping/delivery options so this never happens again in order for me to remain a customer? The answer to both of those questions apparently is NO. So, I can't speak to the quality of the wig - I can only speak to their dismissive attitude and choice to lose a potential repeat customer in order to keep that now one time customer's money. Even if this particular situation doesn't happen to you, now you know the character of the company you are dealing with, and you can make an informed decision about supporting them or not. I have ordered from this company off and on throughout the years, because sometimes they will have to lowest price on what hair/wig that I'm looking for at that time. Yes, I have been messed over by this shady company. I have learned just because they have the cheapest prices, that doesn't mean it will be a wearable product. I believe they purchase defective products/wigs and sell them to the customers and when the customers need to return the defective product/wig, they will deduct/in reality take customers money and Hair Stop and Shop know the product wasn't good in the first place! They are bad about sending you a substitute on purpose and they know that you will send it back and they still get to keep a portion of your money and that's not RIGHT! I ordered the Motown Tress Persian Virgin Remy Human Hair Wig - HPR. MAPLE after I saw it on another wig site and the young lady shared a picture of herself wear it and it looked so beautiful on her and a style that I liked. The wig Hair Stop and Shop sent me was just a big no shape wig with no curls on it. I posted a review on their site, but since I told the truth about the unit, they din't share it. That is not the only unit that I have post my honest review about and that didn't post it up, so that tell you what kind of company that you are deal with!
