It was difficult to find a 40th anniversary card for my daughter and son in law, so when I saw this one I was delighted. Upon receipt of the card I could not have been more disappointed! It was just a piece of printed card poorly folded in half and definitely not worth the money I paid. It looked very amateurish. I will not use this site again.
This is the first and last time I will be ordering from greeting card universe. I just received the greeting cards today and there are 3 things wrong with them.
1. On the front of the card, one of the pictures is much darker than it was on the preview page. You can say it's just my computer screen but how does that explain how the other 3 photos on the front look fine/exactly how I ordered them?
2. There is a huge white gap between 2 of the photos! I spent hours working on this card and now it just looks sloppy.
3. Two of the words on the inside of the card are way too close together. Also not shown on my preview page. The words "an" and "unforgettable" are mushed together so it looks like anunforgettable.
I usually order from zazzle, but thought I would give this a try because of the templates offered for photos. Huge mistake. $49 down the drain. I cannot send these to my friends and family. About two bucks per card and they are all going in the trash.

After reading reviews and calling *Target to verify the in-store pick-up option, I had my doubts about this.
But I decided to try it using a discount code offered on the web page of the card company. After proceeding, near the end I think, Google offered a guarantee for this vendor through an affiliation between Google and Greetingcarduniverse.com.
What did I have to lose- $3.98. So I clicked and ordered.
Within 2 hours I had an email from GCU saying the order was ready. I called the Target store I designated and indeed, my order was ready.
Picked up the cards the next day. They are just as described and actually better. The paper weight is like cards found at a card shop. The printing is great. I am very pleased.
*A side note, before I ordered, I called two of the Target stores listed in my area. Neither one knew what I was talking about, even the manager at one store did not know. But regardless, the process worked and the product is outstanding!

I ordered three cards from them this morning. Although I normally have the cards mailed to me, this time I decided to explore the experience of having them printed at a nearby Target store. I placed the order and waited for a response from Target letting me know they were ready to be picked up. I waited all day and no call or email from Target. I called the photo lab at Target and they claimed to have not received the order. I sent an email to Greeting Card Universe and they called me back. Very quick response so I was very positive this was going to be resolved. The gentleman claimed the order had been cancelled by Target. He told me that I could have the order sent to another Target to be printed. He did not recommend this since the printed cards are of lesser quality. He recommended having them mailed to me. I told him I didn't want to do that since the shipping costs were too high for this order. Did he offer free or discounted shipping because of the error? NO. He told me to order five cards to get a discount. They screwed up my order and wanted me to order more to get a discount. I told him to cancel the order and this was the last time he would hear from me. Great cards, great prices, but lousy customer service.

Wow wish I'd found this company earlier. Simply perfect service. Say all those things that the 'norm' boring run of the mill cards don't, won't or can't be bothered too. Amazing and the prices knocked me out with the privilege of editing them yourself. Highest quality, Dispatch lightening speed or you have the option of collecting them from a store near you. I am so impressed they deserve more than five stars!
I previously wrote a scathing review of this company. After it was published, Shaun e-mailed me again, looked back at the records, saw the correct name had indeed been entered by me. He has promised me that he will have the real-deal card to me by Monday! The only reason I did not give them five stars is that it would have been nice if he had had access to my problem as he talked to me the first time. It would have saved me--and him--so much stress. I used to buy my cards last minute at a drugstore paying 5 dollars for a thank you or bday card. I have also tried printing out cards at home on my ink jet printer which looks like garbage. A friend sent me a card from greeting card universe and I have been using this website ever since for my card needs. They work well for mass mailing of thank you cards and are much cheaper than going to the drugstore.
