Initially I gave 5 stars for kindness, speed, but after 1 and a half month I found myself and the others who rented cars from them, that I have to pay a FICTITIOUS fine of 68 pounds NO EVIDENCE!?!?! I am waiting for a quick refund of the £68 fictitious fee made up by this company!

Great overall experience. From the guy took us from the airport, girl in reception who was polite even if it was huge the queue of people waiting, the person/lad who deliver the car, to the person drop us off to the metro/tube station. Those lads was the reason I might in the future think of refusing same company. Deserve a bonus in my opinion m

We had to wait 45 minutes until to get served. No water, no toilets, hot air. I ordered VW Golf or similar. Got proposed a Citroen C3 which I refused, to small. Then, everything went perfect with the alternative as a car, a class higher and automatics. Just perfect!

I´ve used Green Motion a number of times and always have had a good experience, they are a professional team, friendly and helpful, there´s no hard sell just offers and advice, I´ve always got the vehicle I booked, except once... but I got an upgrade because my car choice was unavailable at the time.

A very nice and kind lady at the service desk prepared the contract and explained us the details. Vehicle pick up and return without any interruption or issues. Everything very smooth.
Only two small complaints we have is, since our flight has been moved 2h forward, we had to return the car 1h before the official desk opening hour. For that service we have charged 25€ additionaly. Other rental stations have a key Dropbox and don't charge additional cost.
The other item was, we have booked a Nissan Qashqai or similar. We got a Suzuki Vitara.
For me this is not the same category. But at the end it was important that our luggage fit into the trunk, which it did.

The experience was very good, and the lady spoke perfect English, so all of my questions were answered. I can't complain anything besides that I wish all the windows are tinted because the sun really burns while we were driving.

I was hesitant to use this company as I hadn't heard of them but took a chance and was not disappointed. I got a great car with lots to choose from and no problems at all. The only issue was that my GPS didn't take me to correct place. But this is common in Italy.

Answer: I have used them many times, always cheapest, always very new cars, always charming and helpful staff ( Stansted Airport). Every firm will try to get you to upgrade. Buy a 3rd party policy, and just say you have your own cover. Up to now I have never been scammed. I ALWAYS inspect the vehicle before. I drive off. I take photos and make sure I get it inspected and signed off by staff when I take it back.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at escalation@cs.greenmotion.com. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
