They quickly took my money for expedited service, but then didn't provide expedited service. They delivered my social security card replacement documentation to the Social Security Administration on the day it was to be completed and returned to me! I went to the Social Security Administration office in person and a very helpful civil servant tracked down my application / documents. She processed my request while I waited so I could get back my Divers License and Birth Certificate. Thanks to her, I had my replacement card within another week.
Would be more user friendly and convenient if the application plates

When my wallet was stolen, I was told by the DMV that I needed a social security card. Could not locate their office, even with a map, so I tried online.
Govsimplified is a fraud. Thought my online application would result in a social security card sent to me via internet. They FEDEXed me an application from Miami, Florida all the way to Santa Fe, NM. I thought I would be charged $37. And they charged $97. When I asked for a refund, they said they would not give me a full refund. This can't be legal.
This site masquerades as an official site and charges an outrageous fee for something free on the IRS website. The site form requires more information and time than the official IRS.gov online application. And when applying on the ACTUAL government site, you get your confirmation letter digitally immediately.
I got my EIN number in 5 hours and the site was easy to use. It was inutile and I found it easy to walk through. I was a little surprised about the cost. O opted for the cheaper 12 hour level for $150 and got it in 6 hours. Rating this long review is a bit of a pain.
I was given GovSimplify's number to contact to get an EIN number. GovSimplify was not up front with me. When I called, I was asked for a lot of private information to fill in the form. After I had given all information, I was told how much it would cost.
The gentleman explained I would get an EIN number within an hour; if I were to apply myself through the IRS it would take 5 weeks. Due to circumstances, I decided to pay the fee.
I good the form that was emailed to the bank. The bank said the number was invalid. They said I only had an"application". I need a letter of confirmation.

I could not believe this only took one day! And when I called because I got an email for more information about an hour after I submitted the application, the young man I spoke to made the necessary change while we spoke. I was done! I started the process at 11:38am and got an email with the EIN sent at 2:12pm, same day! Thanks GovSimplified! You are amazing!
During probate process tax ID was not deemed necessary at hearing but upon contacting multiple creditors and estate issues realized tax ID was needed. This process was made stress free due to GovSimplified.
I had a horrible time trying to understand the agent. The agent told me the tax ID number was for an LLC and it was not. The paperwork I received had the LLC unchecked and stated it was not an LLC. So I paid 139.00 for nothing and I have to redo everything!

We sent the application and required original identification and recieved no social security card and only a 50% refund of the fee. Would question if this service is steeling identies. I would not use this claimed service

The rep was courteous and took me through the process, even though I was surprised to hear it was a third party company not until we were halfway through. It was not glitch-free and expensive, but I got the number THAT day!
I thought the price of $147 was for setting up a LLC corp and getting a EIN number.!
Boy was I mistaken it was on to get the EIN number from IRS which you can get yourself for free just as quick as they did. This is a scam and ripoff. They will not refund your money either!
I found the process to be straightforward. However, while it's free (for a nonprofit) to register an EIN in person, it takes a long time for the process to be completed. It is also costly to register an EIN for nonprofits online and over the phone (which is a faster process). It should be free for nonprofits to do so in all formats. All prices, timelines, and steps should be clearly outlined on all platforms.
... yeah. Needed to apply for an EIN and I almost got fooled into this one. The site ends in. US which makes it look like a government site. The layout is VERY similar to the website you go to to apply for an EIN directly with the government. I finished the application and was very dissapointed to see that it would cost me 140$ to get an EIN. I abandonned the application and decided not to get one... and then found out that its actually free to get an EIN. Now very worried that this company has my social security number and all I know about them so far is that they clearly intend to deceive people into thinking they're services are required to receive an EIN... hope I dont get reamed on this one.
