When my wallet was stolen, I was told by the DMV that I needed a social security card. Could not locate their office, even with a map, so I tried online.
Govsimplified is a fraud. Thought my online application would result in a social security card sent to me via internet. They FEDEXed me an application from Miami, Florida all the way to Santa Fe, NM. I thought I would be charged $37. And they charged $97. When I asked for a refund, they said they would not give me a full refund. This can't be legal.
This site is very deceptive. It looks like it is affiliated with the government, but IT IS NOT! I was charged $37 for postage, but when they wanted original documents, red flags went up, and I decided to go to my local social security office instead. (I had to take time off of work, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place.) When I called for a refund, I was told that it wasn't possible.
I; m scared. I sent in my drivers license, much to my dismay to get a copy of my sons social security card. He is incarcerated and needs his copy right away. I could not find it in his wallet that he gave me when he went away. Please tell me you are a legit site?

The fee of $197 was for our expedited third party designee, document prep, filing and delivery services. The fee was not assessed for the number which is generated and assigned by the IRS.
